Ive only been on TO for the past three months so i dont know how Thunder was over the last 12 months as you mentioned .Call me in experienced if you like as probably many would but from the beginning to where i am now, comparing carefully the Railgun for one ,the Thunder has been left behind,way behind.Now I see why there are so many Railgun operators.Each to their own,people use what they please. You say im upset,of course Im upset when you take a liking to a turret,its all good and still all new at the start ,getting a feel for it all but as time goes on ,it doesnt take much to see when a turret is getting out-performed in hitting power compared to other turrets ,its so obvious. You say about changing the hull??,so a Railgun with a Hornet or Wasp can run a song and dance around me as well,lol ???? As an exercise I spent ,believe it or not a good 10-11 hours on TO last night but for once I actually changed to a Railgun turret.Took a little to get used too but the amount of single shot kills that I achieved was amazing,using that peek a boo style of shooting,not so easy gotta say but was impressed.Thought I would just let you know,not here to upset anyone or to compare skills,just a loyal Thunder user that wants to stay with it but for it to be shown some "lovin' as well. You know what,I was just in a battle with a Railgun ,same rank and out of 10 confrontations with him,it was 10 kills in his favor,all one shot kills where on my third hit on him he would hit me once and all over.Using railgun paint protection and all that crap it just doesnt do it anymore.This may be the last game I play on TO,dont like being made to look like an ***** when after spending most of my time on here TO with Thunder,learning some tactics from listening to others on this Forum and getting them pretty right,all about using splash tactics and hitting them in groups,done all that but to come against a 'one hit wonder' everytime???? no thanks TO,I spend time on TO because I enjoyed it ...no more im afraid,everything is heard but nothing is done,just like the Politicians,all talk and no change had enough.

thanks dilsharox for your feed back,Thunder is all i use and sometimes i dont mind using Smoky when my kills are too close and self destruction happens,damn thing it is but smoky is great for knocking opponents aim off center but thunder is my sole weapon of choice.See how I go,im tired of always using the 'double damage' or "druggin'' as others call it to try and keep up with their 'one shot' kills after you've hit them 3 or four times.Its not the skill factor because im quite proficient with my hits and aim but after the third or forth consecutive hit on the same opponent,using no armor as well,it gets a little ridiculous and you wonder whats the point. Does this mean we all should use Railguns if this is the case??????It obviously seems that way i believe but I wont be one to change,Ill just get an Isida and pump up energy levels all day.......GREAT FUN..........NOT!!!!!!!!

i agree with your friend Cika Pika buts its not its aiming mechanism,its the fire power that has dropped.Ive used Thunder from day one of starting Tanki and all I have noticed that its taking more hits to kill anything and you have the railguns of equivalent rank killing me with one shot,doesnt matter what tactics I have been told to try,its not the tactics its the ratio differene between railgun and thunder,1 Railgun shot to always 2-3 Thunder.its ridiculous and its fustrating me to the point where im over playing tanki.I know the replies will be 'try this tactic,try that as well'....its nothing to do with tactics its simply Thunder is not keeping up with Railguns at the same level,period........

thanks all ,great load of info.i know what youre saying Yellowrtclassic,tired of especially railguns and isidas creeping up close and before they realise ive all launched the cannon but in the end just to glose and self destruction occurs,gotta learn to move away quicker but still using keyboard so hopefully with my new joystick i can do that much more effedtively. cheers

Thanks TheKillerPenguin and Pizzaslad for that advice.So just another question if i may,what battles are more suited to Thunder?I really enjoy using it and the splash damage is handy when hulls are hiding behind walls...etc..I may be asking too much of my Thunder , my fault i guess but I will stay with it indefinately.I always find myself wanting to compete with Shafts in long range battles.....lol,i know they are possibly out of range but i guess its to just try to prove a point that not everyone needs a scope ,waiting for hulls to pop up in its circle sights and a hot cup of tea and lets not forget about their best friend Isida's to finish charging them up,helps for their roots to imbed themselves even deeper in the soil I hear...lol..., and fuel is expensive to travel too much,yes????..lol...lol..but still all in good fun. Hi there.I have had the Thunder and used it endlessly,worked at it until I could purchase my first M1,tried to perfect my aim as good as I could.Finally got M1 and spent another 80,000 crystals on it to upgrade it.Got on it again today and what a waste of crystals!!!!!!!....still need 3 hits to destroy some basic hulls and the sound of it has changed,honestly im really disappointed.Is it a scam just for us to spend money to buy crystals????..im starting to believe it....
