I'd like to ask Tanki Online not to introduce any new upgrades for shaft. Just bring back what was taken away: restore the wide scope angle, increase damage, make doubles and triples possible again, stop the rocking (which his a hall issue), While you at it, get rid of one thing - the tracer. Just that will make the Shaft a formidable weapon once more. Because now it is one of the weakest guns. The Gauss doesn't have one, the smokey too.

What positive things do you want to see in Tanki Online?

Get rid off the tracer in shafts. Return the original angles in sniper mode, and don't mess with the balancing any more. -
True. I agree and support the notion.

I must have gone mad, in that case. No other explanation. I am not on a ledge, no one is pushing me. All tanks - I checked this with three hulls - have a more intense rocking movement when stopping to fire. It is like having bad suspension. That is what I mean. I get more intense rocking when I get shot as well.
-
The change is from today, so you probably haven't played it yet. All hulls have the "improved" rocking effect like in a hansom cab. I am a Legend 7, and have played since January 2015. I would not comment if there was not change. So, please, more respect.

Well, Tank Online, you've outdone yourselves again. I am a shaftsman, and you've made every effort to make the shaft obsolete. Not only that it has no meaningful upgrade compared to the other turrets, nor is it invisible to all other players due to the tracer, now you have added additional bounce to the hulls so a sniper can't aim until the see-saw sensation stops. I nearly get see sick when aiming in sniper mode. Stop trying to be realistic - there is nothing realistic about the whole game. Cut the bouncing by100%, take the tracer off as an upgrade.

What is this invite code? Why wasn't his announced? How are we supposed to obtain it?

The update takes time to introduce in the server. A very big update needs time. We understand. First you needed to take away our free choice of maps and teams, now you need to install drones nobody ever suggested having or wanted, and you need to go though our garage to steal our equipment we worked hard for. Yes, take your time. Because we will not be back.

Now, the whole game has become irrelevant.

I must say - Tanki has screwed up a couple of things in the past - disastrous Xtanki, tracers on shafts, weakening of turrets, cutting down on play time, and more. However this is a mistake of biblical proportions. Unfortunately I think this has been all planned. Tanki has put too much effort in setting this update up to just roll it back. All Tanki really wants is to be mobile. So now with matchmaking it is. The games used to me 60 min, then 15 min., then 10 min. and with matchmaking they take about 4 to 6 min. One good toilet sitting time. Think how many people will see those annoying commercials between the games when playing on their phones. That's right, from a PC game Tanki has transformed itself into a phone game. It took away free choice of battle, choice of players, people don't continue with the same players on the same map, maps are mismatched to tanks, game is even more uneven, people forced to play maps they hate, people are forced to pay for Pro games or join a clan - what if they don't want to. Now we can't log into our accounts... I am at my last week in Tanki. I will get the awards for week ten of the missions' chain and end on that note. Signed: Shaft - Legend 5 - M4 with add-ons - playing every day Tanki since January 2015.

I deeply disagree. Shafts can provide cover in CTF games, in CP games they can make sure the points continue to be in the teams' color.

Well, Tanki, you've done it again. Once more have you made the game worse. I have been playing it every day (EVERYDAY) since January 31st 2015. Since mid 2016 you began by fidgiting with it making it less interesting every time. The match making system: 1. you have no choice regarding type of arena - I am a shaft and it does matter to me if I play Highway or Molotov. 2. the wait time is very long, but at the same time you can find games through the old system without the wait. Odd. 3. once you've decided on a random game you can't access chat or go to the news while waiting in queue. 4. mission points/crystals can only by earned now through random games, not through the old method of access that is also available - why? Tanki, instead of concentrating on crazy, illthought ideas you should be more practical - change the method of arena search by giving the option of going over the names of the arenas - like Highway, or Rio instead of by server. Some people like just playing Highway or just Industrial and so on. Make good changes. Finally, I have no idea why you once decided to narrow the sniping angle for shafts. These turrets have great advantages, but also major disadvantages. Narrowing the angle did not improve game play. Also expalin the efficiency system. I have continued to go down the spiral line falling in my ranking, although my k/d is improving, my average in killed units per minute has also increased, but still I am playing worse and worse according to the efficiency scale. When I asked Cedric about this he replyied that this is a secret and he cannot share the thinking behind the system. This only makes the system feel more corrupt.

Hi, shaft here. I wanted to respond to the two posts above. I agree Tanki excercised poor judgement on the aiming angle. I see no reason for doing that. However I still play on all maps, except Rio. My position there (Reds - bushes, behind the wall to the right, on the beach) was perfect to shoot down bluse from the roof. As for gaming and tacktics for playing or confrunting shaft: for all those criticising shafts please consider that shafts also provide cover for their team mates. What is more helpful when running back with the enemy flag and a shaft knocks off the enemy chasing you? I love playing Highways. Position myself at one of the towers - I have multiple tasks: guard the ramp (mines, snipe at close range), defend the flag, provide cover, shoot enemy tanks from a distance before they reach the base, run after flag, hit enemy flag bearer. All this requires me to be in sniping mode as often as in arcade mode. So when someone says I am a camper, I see that the person does not understand strategy. It is not camping, but defense. All other turrets are super offensive (or can be) but the shaft is very defensive. For other turrents - when sniping shafts only see very far, but also very narrowly. They don't know what is going on around them if they stay too long in teh sniping more.

Please bring back the previous vertical angle for shaft. I see no reason to limit this turret in such a way.
