  1. Here is some nonsense "Tanki Math" for you guys. I was all excited to MU when that 33% sale hits and M4 a few turrets. So here is where "Tanki Math" comes in. Thunder M3 Step 30: Step+Instant upgrade is 18,750 + 9,377 = 28,177 @ 33%(-9,282) = 18,895 SO the "sale" nets me a loss of 145 crystals. If I M4 my turret and wait out the times it will cost me 493, 710. With the 33% sale and some "Tanki Math", the same M4 turret costs me 496, 651. A small difference to use the turret as an M4 now, but a "SALE" should mean the spirit of the word (i.e. an event for selling goods at a reduced price). Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!! <_<

    Details about the lag

    Everything Tanki related either lags, never loads, or takes ridiculous amounts of time to load. Once in awhile I get lucky and can play for an hour tops. I will be lucky if this posts--even my forum will not load at times. It took five minutes since I logged into the forum to get the "reply option" to appear. I have performed all troubleshooting, no virus, browser/flash/drivers all up to date. Amazingly everything else I use my PC for is performing. Tanki, not so much... So much for ranking and stockpiling crystals before next sales sweep.
  4. Agreed. I played Rio CTF/15 min maps. I track my Experience/Crystal earned per minute. It is a pretty standard number regardless of winning or losing the battles over the time I play. My Crystal earned per minute was 50% off of my average. This is the basic problem w/ the new update. I was actually on the winning side more than the losing side and I still had a 50% loss of Crystal per minute. My Experience earned per minute was spot on my average/standard number. Obviously the lack of Crystal is due to the flag cap. I am sure the caps are the same in the other battle modes--poor and arbitrarily picked numbers...Regardless of the map balance, it kills the Battle Fund growth. Your cut of the Battle Fund shrinks because the game is now stopped prematurely. There is no point in joining a 2-0 or 3-0 game anymore. I have seen many posts about joining a losing side, swinging the momentum & pulling out a win (which in turn bumps the Battle Fund considerably). This kills that option as well. Kills another intriguing reason to join an unbalanced map...

    Daily Missions have gone live!

    Anytime you take away free gifts, it is a game killer. Wonder why TO lost some servers recently..."to better serve community, populate servers better, etc." (blah, blah). Wonder why Forum has been down and why servers were down for hours & hours the last week or so... "Stay tuned..." TO is, by far, one of the better "Free Games" I have played. I have played for about a year and have been impressed by it throughout that time. The "Daily Mission" & offering items to re-energize the Gizmo Community, that don't replace or can't be used in lieu of the MU'd M3 gear? Totally economic shift for the Devs & TO. This is the first overt economically driven change I have seen in TO, in the short time I have played. Other changes have been minor and to casual gamers not based on the economy that drives TO. This one is different. Interesting to see so many jazzed up people excited about the new "Daily Missions". As, generally speaking, a Pick Up Artiste/Supply Hoarder, "Daily Missions"--which in actuality can last as long is takes to complete them--will make it unnecessary for me to log daily. At least TO used to give me a reason to log every time the server reset. Now I do not need to get my "daily fix". Now I won't log every day and be compelled to play a few battles, or check the Forum, or maybe dream about coining some Cristal & getting that sweet "Kit" that TO was offering, then pulled, then brought back for a limited time again... Hope everyone still has spirit fingers & smiley faces when the new Daily Missions go live! It is great to see +/- 240 positive posts on this topic. I am sure my post will get trolled, but I don't really care. I won't be logging daily; I have no reason to. The new "daily fix" can last forever...killer! #disappointed

  10. Interesting...I went Twins early in the game and liked them. I have used the M2 Twins/Hornet Combo quite a bit, as well as M2 Twins/Dictator. I tend to stock my drugs. Sometimes Twins/Hornet can help run a map versus Druggers. That being said, 8/10 isn't illogical. 4/10 isn't surprising either. 6/10 is fairly "middle of the road", which is what M2 Twins/Hornet is. I have not paired M2 Twins w/ my fresh M3 Hornet, so I will let you guys know. I can tell you one thing: It is tough being a pick up artist in a drug war... This article was around an 8 or 9/10, so I am betting I will see a lot more Twins/Hornet Combos soon--regardless of Rank. This will be the "IT" thing until the attention span snaps elsewhere, right? Huh? Did someone say Rail or Thunder?
