    Ideas for Turrets!

    how would people feel about adding a gun of this sort into the game? t's special feature would be being able to fly over buildings, then drop down. basically, the player would switch to a small, top down, circular area map, showing all tanks that have been identified (meaning,all friendly tanks and all enemy tanks that have been labeled) and scenery within the gun's range. the player would do this by pressing space. then, the player would change where the shell would land by using the arrow keys, much like controlling a shaft in sniper mode, except top down. when the player had positioned the cross hairs into the correct place, he would release space and the gun would fire. there would be a small amount of splash damage, because a direct hit would be hard if the target was moving. this would be about as wide as one wasp in every direction. reload time and damage from a direct hit would about equal a railgun hit, range would be about as far as that of twins. so as to not make it overpowered, (because it could just hide behind buildings and no one would know where the shots were coming from), the projectile would take about 1-3 seconds to reach it's target, depending on the range, and would look like a blackis-green artillery shell. this would make it plenty visible, giving enemies at the recieving end time to try and dodge a direct hit if they were far enough away and their allies a chance to try and locate the mortar gun. this sounds like an awesome gun to me, tell me if you disagree or have any suggestions to it
