For all the Pro's and Con's, irrespective of your views one big bonus. battles are exciting again (for me). It feels new and uncharted territory, you are again learning who is powerful and doing while it in battle. You don't way up what the other player has or has not got. you basically got to get into it and do it. I am really cheesed off about my Isida, I rarely battled each day. Tonight I have battled a lot and enjoyed all, win or loose. At end of day, thats why I'm here, not for easy kills or simple wins, this is a game and I'm here for fun and enjoyment so Boo Hoo for nerfing my isida but Yippee for letting me get some intense and enjoyable battles. As a side note don't like the heads up with the protection icons ( I'd prefer not to know) but love the damage counter. I don't really care if you disagree or think I'm a noob, I'm here for me. So guys and dolls pull your neck in and enjoy the game

  4. So, you never know what others are looking for. Who knows, maybe that person who picks up doggie poop in the local public park might land a job in an Animal Health Dept. inspecting poop for chemical break down, how animals digest food and what comes out the other end. Research who you send your CV too. Tweak it to match what they want. Researching them also shows you spent time to find out about them, what they do and what they want. You did not just send of 100 photo copies of the same thing to 100 companies doing the same thing. To get LOST in the 1,000 similar CV's sent in. Be precise To the point Eye catching and original (Typing in CAP's does not count as eye catching) Sell yourself AND try to leave them WANTING to KNOW more about you not thinking "Is he ever going to shut up about......." Lets hope you all get the position you want
  5. If the people reading your CV are good at their job, they will see the through the "it's a video game for kids" tag associated with it. For those who don't know or understand, there is a lot more going on with being a mod than sitting down pressing a big red button, using special software to ban players (mine is yellow anyway). Communication is the No 1 thing, not only with players but other moderators and admin discussing behaviour/language and context of players posts. Staying calm and having truck loads of patience. Listening and explaining problems or situations. Working on your own and in groups, teamwork etc. These are skills that others want their staff to have, and unlike 'real jobs' where those around you are of the same mind set, age and skills on TO those you deal with have many different languages, cultures, religions and ages. All this plays a part. So from a communication point of view working on TO is actually advantageous. I am old (:() as most know and I have literally worked for thousands of people in my life. From small companies to huge ones. From ones nobody knows to ones that most would know (Jaguar/Ducati). Taught in colleges (one was a pre college before University) would I put "I work on a online game site". Yes and have. If you are doing a CV, the things to remember is it needs to STAND OUT from everybody's else's Be EYE catching. It needs to be presented well and balanced. There is a huge difference from these "I play internet games for 3 hours a day" "I communicate with hundreds of people from around the world, helping and giving advice" Soooo long post but then again I never use 1 word when 500 will do. My view point.

    First V-LOG of 2016 — Episode 75

As a responsible father, the decision to allow private chat has left me with no option. I have now banned both my sons from Tanki. If it stays in the game then their accounts are now prohibited to them, I have screenshot their acc so I know if they play and they know the consequences so I know they wont. There is private chat in 1 V 1 with no pro pass needed. Or private battles, even from the forum. There is no way I will allow my sons to be exposed to some of the stuff I have seen as a moderator, there are other games with no moderation and my sons are also banned from these. What are the benefits from this. Surely we should be a responsible organisation and as adults and more so as parents protect and guide our younger and more vulnerable members. It is not OK to say that porn is everywhere and swearing is a fact of life. We should still do what we can to protect them. The good thing is my boys will complain if anybody swears in real life. They are 9 and 11, they even complain if I say Sxxt, I rarely swear. But to be harassed or bullied privately while no-one helps or is allowed to help is beyond me and I won't allow that, there is enough in real life and cyber bullying is well documented and a major concern. Most schools and colleges filter much. So yes you can say I'm a fuddy duddy and I'm behind the times but my sons will learn how to swear at school with their peers not from some hide behind a computer bully, pervert or spotty faced wimp trying to act big. Well that's me putting my 2 penny worth forward Enjoy and be safe all
