Previously, I was always able to pause within a second of dying and not respawn. But that timing is now way off, it doesn't seem like I can pause without respawning unless I push pause 3 seconds before dying. I thought the dev's agreed that uneven matches were bad. Being able to time your respawn when the enemy is spawn killing is an important tactic to get the game running evenly again. What gives? *Edit, I watch and read update notices and the VLOG, regularly, and didn't see this. It is definitely different now. -
A special overdrive for the map massacre! Whenever you hit it, crystal boxes will drop on the side of the map you are on, but damage boxes and repair kits will drop on the other side of the map. Examples: You are on the blue team in blue territory, you hit the overdrive and the damage boxes drop on the red side slightly in advance of crystal boxes drop in blue territory, the massacre begins. You are on the blue team but in red territory, you hit the overdrive and the crystal boxes drop in red while the damage boxes drop in blue territory, making it so it won't be a constant spawn massacre. -OR- Maybe to really keep from spawn kills, you are on the blue team but in red territory, you hit the overdrive and the crystal boxes plus the damage and repair boxes drop in blue, making everyone move towards the blue territory.

I have been using Xpadder for a while and finally heard Tanki mention it in a VLOG saying it was not supported by them because they cannot be responsible for the software, so I figured others were using it. Wanted to share my settings and see if anyone out there had a completely different setup. The big issue I found was that it was too easy to turn using the pads and it would slow down using the pads. So I set the pads to only forward and backwards and used the buttons on the front to control side to side.

1. I am stoked to know that Tanki is listening and trying to address the issue. It's hard to play any battle past a 4 star general without constantly drugging or buying a pro-pass and hoping people will join your battle. 2. This is not the right solution, it addressed the power of the supplies but not in a way that made more exciting play. The current system with some modifications to timers would be better than a total rework such as this. I think the first thing to do is to actually go forward with the ranking system and give less rank for those kills where you had a speed, damage, or armor where the adversary you destroyed did not. This would create a set of skewed data that you could analyze for skill vs drugs and make smaller adjustments. 3. I don't think it will help too much to make exciting game play. As said by other posters, many will camp and attack or play hide and seek. The current count down system does not encourage either too much so I would go with something closer to that. Maybe make supplies more expensive could be a way to control supply and demand; a typical market way. -

What is going on today? I logged in to see what kits are available for my tanks, and there are none in the garage for purchase on any account? It seems like they can only be purchased in the store? Is this permanent? While I have spent a LOT OF MONEY on some accounts, I still prefer to not pay to keep up and slowly build other accounts to play with friends of different ranks. This will be a deal breaker for me. I lost most of my friends that played with me when they couldn't create battles. This would be the last straw. -

Patch Update #430 - New Striker turret, new Alterations and decorations

Its a good turret, the damage is good but some of the mechanisms could be adjusted. There are a couple of things I've noticed that I think will make it a more appropriate weapon. 1. Increase time off laser resume - the time an enemy falls off the laser is very short before it triggers relasering them in from the start. Should be a little longer or else the laser use is not very valuable. 1 (option 2). Staged guided missiles - just like with shaft, the longer you are on laser the more destruction, so there should be four levels, releasing after a quarter gives 1 guided missile, half = 2, etc. 2. Increase the splash, a rocket should have more splash than a bullet from a thunder. 3. A little bit more chase to the guided missiles. -
I think its very weak in DM, need to mine off your own area to save yourself from short range attacks. Needs buffed, but playable.

It's fun, started a new account for it and have a decent D/L (2.3). Its difficult to get used to but has some interesting characteristics. I do think they will shorten the laser timer, I hardly ever use it. I like the alternating shots, if I keep track of them I can pop out only a little bit from behind a building and expose myself a little.

Yes, I think its a little too much to often too, Lemmy. Although, I am a crystal buyer, I do not do it for all my accounts and I have to be frugal with my crystals to have a successful tank. The pro-pass cost is better now, but it cuts the cost of my earnings down by 1/4 per month. That is a lot and it will impact my willingness to play as much as well. I haven't been buying any crystals on any accounts, nor have I been doing anything on my accounts but saving crystals for a while because there is no predictability. I set up a good combo and that is the main combo for that account, its fine, but I can't afford protections because what is OP changes from week to week now. And I can't create battles where my combo is good.

What is the alteration for shaft? Its the only thing I don't have M2 to see it on for any of my accounts. Also, has anyone tried parkour with smoky with the alteration? Can it wall climb now like the thunder and rico can with lighter hulls?

I noticed there are many new kits, such as the Touche, Blizzard, Corsair, Avalanche, Voltage, Fireworks, Glaze, etc. The old system had the same kits that would alternate back and forth about every two weeks. It seems that these are now in for one week and most of the old kits seem to still be there, not all of them have shown up yet. I didn't see any announcement for the change. Are there kits that are taken out? (As I was saving for some) What kind of future changes can we expect when the paint/protection system comes into play? Has anyone created a full list yet?

I think it is overall good. The very good part is that non-buyers can choose to go for the task to get crystals, the bad is that some non-buyers would wait several days and collect crystals and supplies from daily gifts before playing so that they could keep a better balance between buyers and non-buyers in games. So, it does give non-buyers options but I think it eliminates the non-buyers' only way of keeping balance with buyers which was time. The only fix in my mind is to bring back crystal drops to death matches, this will allow non-buyers to get crystals without xp again, making the time-vs-money a fair trade.
