Did the rebalance slow down the speed of the twins ammo? Feels like tanks can outmaneuver my fire???

Just have the experience in trying to evade rail. Even with M1 Wasp, the rail shot seems to track me, even when I have circled around behind the enemy turret. Seems like there is no escape other than to knock off the rail's aim with impact fire, which does work. Can't tel if rail is homing or if it's just game lag.

Hmmm, I am WO5 on my high account but after M1 spend on both Rico and Viking, I'm broke. At this point I'm going to save for M2s.

Question: does rail auto home or must your turret be pointing DIRECTLY at an enemy tank?

Don't have this hull yet. Want some opinions. Is Hornet as fast as Wasp? I see both buzzing around at the same apparent speed with and without drugs. I know that by the numbers wasp is faster, but in practice is the difference even noticeable? Why does no one with hornet seem to rotate their turret? I see a disproportionate number of Hornets aiming by turning THEIR ENTIRE TANK. Is the skid/drift feature nice or annoying?

Viking M0 is an exercise in patience. You are a bit stronger than other tanks but with the spread of wasps and hornets you are always the slowest. Playing CTF games with this mod is pure frustration. Viking M1 after the 2015 armor bump is a different story altogether. You can now withstand a lot of damage. I've even noticed other players move on expecting to have killed me, them do a digital double take when they realize I am still alive and coming at them. M1 speed increases to average if still slightly below most of the other tanks but with a bit of nitro you can usually get where you need to go and get out of a jam. Gone is the M0 feeling of 'cant this thing go any faster?' Very playable.

My high account is Rico Viking both m1. Very effective combo, which I only expect to get better. The Rico m1 consistently outguns the competition at warrant officer 4/5. The recent boost to Viking armor helps too

Can't say yet. I have M1 Rico on my high account and it is pretty awesome. I'm actually a bit discouraged about M1 Freeze. M0 on double damage still takes a long time to kill. Can't imagine M1 changing that by itself with its stat boosts... Will probably still have to drug. That said... Drugging freeze is super sweet, especially when you line up two enemies... Freeze effect penetrates the first guy and the second too. Pretty good way to maximize yield and get ye most of freeze's high power drain.

Sorry, I did say upgrade... I meant to ask whether I should go ahead and buy M1 at full price or wait for a sale?

I'm increasingly noticing negligible or no difference in wasp and hornet speed (non-nitro). I have M1 wasp... can't really tell if the hornets are M0 or M1 but they are just as fast as I am which really surprises me. Here's what happens - I steal flags and zip away at top wasp M1 speed. I know a hornet is behind me, so I weave and eventually turn a corner. I should be well ahead of the hornet, but no... it's still right behind me and usually makes the kill and returns the enemy flag. Anyone else notice this? I don't think the hornets are drugging.

I've paid full price for equiment and upgrades before only to have it go on sale sooner or later at 20-50% off. That's a lot of crystals to save on mod increases. I have other accounts, one higher (Viking M1-Rico M1) and one lower (Mammy M1-Shaft M0) Thinking I will play the Mammy account to raise money for the shaft M1 Sorry guys, I know I'm off topic.

Can I ask an opinion? Should I go for the upgrade or hold my crystals for a sale and play on another account while I wait?

Crime of the century: I'm about 1200 crystals short of Freeze upgrade price. Last night a gold box dropped while I was carrying the flag. I drove right over the gold box point, there was no one in the area. In a bone-head move, I went for the flag capture then went back to the gold box point which was now swarming with tanks. In a panic I jumped off the side of the building thinking I would climb the tank mountain in my wasp, but... Wait for it... I flipped. Doh! No worries though. If I play a few good games tonight the M1 freeze will be mine.

Thanks! One more... Assess the enemy flag defense before rushing in. More than two tanks guarding and you won't get out alive. Again, have a team plan for relay.. Or if your team isn't cooperating wait for your team mate to make a run for the flag. Let the enemy tanks swarm to the sacrificial lamb while you swoop in from another angle unchallenged.
