    Test Drives and personal discounts!

 ... wut. Where is this information stored???? If it's only here for a week, and the chances of getting it are pretty much the same as XT, then how on earth is anyone supposed to get it? It said nothing about this in the official description.

    Test Drives and personal discounts!

Why are you calling the update "stupid"? The vast majority of players will like this, especially considering what was happening in earlier times, when it was almost impossible to earn crystals. The Tanki developers put their own time into this due to the demand of the rest of the Tanki population which has a different outlook on gameplay than you do. And, it doesn't matter whether or not the test drive appears often in your profile, what matters is, is that Tanki is actually continuing to make getting new equipment easier. An occurence that almost no other gaming corporation would ever and I mean never do for their players. As the other saying goes, "take what you can get". Why do you insult this person? Did they do anything to offend you? If so, then sorry for the -1 reps on those comments, if not, don't insult those who have done nothing to sour their reputation in your eyes.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Ugh... I hate to be short but I usually get irritated easily, which is why I don't debate well. I, for one, wasn't entirely sure what you were reffering to when you had wrote that original comment. It was my impression that you were attempting to make a snide comment about a supposedly palpable fact. And this is why I responded in turn. Either way, I also thought you were refferencing the original Shaft, the one which was OP.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

<_< *claps* You do realize that every other single turret in the entire game can be handled without paints, right? Paints are meant for a person to get a distingt advantage/nullification over certain kinds of turrets. Turrets were never meant to be overpowered on their own, maybe with x2 damage, and maybe when it's M3 vs M2, but we all know why there's an advantage there.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Yes, I know from experience. However, it was too good, and couldn't be touched, which is exactly why they had to relinquish it's OP features.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Yes, that situation in particular would be rather rare, however, there are many other examples, as without the laser it takes nigh forever to find a Shaft, and even before they do, the Shaft has already moved to a different spot on the map. This hit-and-fade tactic works on maps as small as Future and everything above. Just not normally on those like Polygon, which is very popular, however, I still operate fairly well on that map.

    Let's Discuss Viking!

You are mistaken, because M1 Hunter poses a challenge which is very easy to overcome, at least for me. I don't know how long it's been since you had M1 Hunter yourself, but it isn't that great. I've been a Viking on this account since I got it, and yet I still haven't been in a match where an M1 Hunter won. Just saying. However, it is also highly dependant upon which turret you choose for your hull, I for one, use Railgun if I'm using Hunter, and it works splendidly, same as M1 Shaft + M1 Viking is the best pair I have ever used.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Personally, if you hadn't noticed, I believe that the laser added a very nice element to Shaft, and that element is challenge. As you said, you haven't seen anyone recently who's used the Shaft before, and this is because no one really knows how to use it properly with the update, and none of them were actually willing to try and learn; they simply abandoned it when it changed. Much like some couples do when they feel even slightly uncomfortable with how their spouse/partner has changed. Still, I thus far have been able to use Shaft to it's true potential, and it completely decimates the battlefield in the large majority of cases. And yes I do remember which purpose they eliminated that you are refering to; the purpose of stealth sniping. And now most feel that Shaft has turned from being an elegant art of sneak attacks into a desparate race for points once it's being used, which is exactly what every other turret user (save Railgun) has to experience. I will agree with you there, however, imagine a Mammoth + Shaft with Rail + Shaft protection, sitting in one of the tree clusters on Lost Temple. Please do tell me how that's fair.

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

Yeah, Railgun is the best gun I'd say. Then again, in order to buy M1 the wait is almost rediculous if you fell in love with the gun at noob ranks. It's almost an effortless slaughter on your part if you know how to use the Rail, and knowing how to use it isn't entirely difficult, but there isn't really a single person who would be capable of explaining it to you; you're kinda on your own for learning how to use it. However, I prefer to use Shaft, due to the fact that it has the potential to be just as good as Rail, but in order to attain that much efficiency, you must be constantly vigilant, and know exactly what to do at any given moment. It poses a significant challenge (on most maps/matches), which is why a lot of people get angry when the Railguns simply do the circle of death and decimate all Shafts. In fact, almost every turret can beat Shaft at close range, it's just by the user's skill that it isn't in a situation.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

Yeah, and then you get those not so occasional players who just revel in the chance to push an unsuspecting Shaft user off cliffs... Not that in Brest and Stadium most of them don't deserve it, but still; it gets annoying sometimes.

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

No, there most likely isn't a hack available to players that lets them get turrets and hulls. However, since the missions aren't an old feature, there is probably a loophole that someone would exploit to changed the probability of them getting the XT mission. And as far as the gold box hack, I don't know one hundred percent sure if that's a real thing, but I bet there's some MLG hacker sitting in a match by himself collecting hacked gold boxes. Still, what I'm saying is something as innocuous as probability is most likely what could be tampered with for the XT equipment. Then again, the Tanki staff may be just as good as preventing such hacks and then we wouldn't have anything to worry about on that front.

    Let's Discuss Railgun!

I agree with this one. Think about this scenario; just like the illusive gold box drops, it would bring everyone interested in M2 Rail XT onto the game to see if it's an available mission, and they would continue to work towards it. However, like this tanker mentioned, it should be almost an excruciatingly rare occurence, as to keep it from completely whitewashing the normal turret market. Then again, we have the issue of hackers being able to get Rail XT without any effort, and have no one there to report them for getting it. Because, since the XT mission would be a probability function, the same paramaters as the gold box hacks could be applied therin. Just a thought.

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

First, I would never say that it is actually popular for M0 and M1, because I am one of the very few who will use it for every single kind of map, including ones such as Polygon, and yet I still receive a very noteable sum of crystals at the end of most every match. Just this morning, in one hour I accumulated 1000 more crystals. And second, the laser eliminated a very distinced advantage, (I know this because I was using Shaft when there was no laser) and now the gun is more balanced because of it. But, as we all knew, with it's arcade damage it was indeed nerfed; however, once they increased that, the turret has been very formidable, even against M2 combos, as I have come to find. My thoughts exactly

    Let's Discuss Shaft!

It never was "nerfed" so to speak, it was simply edited to the level of everything else. It's still my weapon of choice, due to the fact that it works incredibly well, even when faced with M2s. And if you were wondering, I've been using shaft almost my entire career as a tanker.
