Improved system for changing equipment in battle
TheRealElFredo replied to semyonkirov in News Archive
To people complaining that 1min is too short and this should be at least 5min : remember that the garage sometimes takes much longer to load (personal record: 5 minutes!). So don't expect seeing new equipments every minute or so. And during loading time the players also lose opportunity to score, so this will act as a disincentive to change too often. As a sidenote this is certainly a way for Tanki Online to push players into buying more equipment... -

Same for me there. I use Chrome on Windows 7 64 bits. -

Thanks for the new update. Now my shaft is somewhat usable at last, however controls are VERY sluggish, which is a huge handicap in fast-paced battles. Before the mouse update I was able to aim & shoot moving opponents very quickly in sniper mode for maximum damage, now this is no longer possible because the turret gets blocked randomly a fraction of seconds at the beginning of the sequence, just in time for the opponent to get out of sight. And keyboard controls feel much less accurate than before. I use Chrome on Windows 7 64 bits. -
I've had the other problems coming back every now and then, even with the viewport maximized. Random "crazy ivan" turret spins, hardly usable sniper mode, etc.

Well if the devs don't manage to fix all these issues (I could understand that, I'm a developer too) then why don't they rollback to the previous version? I can't believe there is no way to do that, after all the changes are minor and don't affect the gameplay significantly. In the meantime all shaft-playing gamers no longer can participate in all the battles or benefit from the current promotions (90% off on pro battles for example). I hope that shaft owners will receive correct compensation for being grounded for several days. -
SPOT ON! Indeed the crosshair is properly centered in fullscreen mode. However there are still some bugs that render the shaft unusable (sometimes aiming doesn't work properly in sniper mode).

Same problem on Win7 Chrome 64 bits. BTW I understand that a bug takes time to track & fix (I'm a developer myself) however I can't understand that there is no rollback procedure when such critical bugs are found after deployment on production. Anyway, good luck to the dev team.

I can no longer aim correctly with my shaft, the game is unusable. In sniper mode the crosshair is not centered on the screen but is offset top-left. It worked fine yesterday. I use an up-to-date Chrome 41.0.2272.118 m (64 bits).

Not sure if it's related to the recent mouse update, but I can no longer aim correctly with my shaft, the game is unusable. In sniper mode the crosshair is not centered on the screen but is offset top-left. (the forum won't let me attach a screenshot, sorry). I use an up-to-date Chrome 41.0.2272.118 m (64 bits).
