I kinda disagree on the viewpoint of saying that your childhood is the best part of your life. I'm not too far gone from it (I'm 18 now), but I am happier now than I was as a child. Based on my experience, you are locked into a monotonous world as a child. School, go home and do stuff, repeat. You don't have any freedom. Compare it to college, and college is much, much better. I can do whatever I want to have fun as long as I can still focus on school when I need to, and better yet, I'm at a point where I not just choose what I wanna do with my life but actually act on it.

I figured the AW section would be the best place to post this topic. It is now my time to create a "leaving Tanki" post. However, this isn't quite an ultimatum, it is more of a notice that I am pretty much done with the game. There are a few reasons, and I will go ahead and explain them. The first- time. I just graduated high school, and will now be off the grid all summer. Then, I have a few weeks until I start college, where I will be going into Engineering. To give myself the best chance at making it through Engineering school, I have to drop a few distractions, with Tanki being one of them. Of course, I will log in every now and then to get rid of some stress, but there has to be limits. Tanki was a major distraction for me in high school, but you can make it through high school with major distractions. The second is a bit more simple- the game has lost my attention. It has recently failed to captivate me like it has in the past. However, I do recognize the fact that many of the most recent updates have been awesome, and I like the direction it is going. But still, it has gotten old and not as fun as other games. I enjoyed Tanki while it was fun, and would like to thank everyone in the forum. I kept playing for way longer than I would have without logging into the forum, and it made the game more interesting. My two favorite sections were the clan page, where I led a clan for around a year, and the AW section. It gave me a place to keep my writing in check while I did not have an English class. It is always nice to be recognized as a "distinguished writer", when my average grade for an essay is around an 80-85. Thank you to all of the AW mods who kept this section up, and a special thanks to goldrock and night-sisters for founding the section and giving me numerous helpful writing suggestions. -@Jwimmer

First game in a few weeks. I managed to catch a gold, and knock off some of the rust. As a side note, is the embarrassingly high amount of server lag normal? Like my ping was mostly under 100 (a few 999 spikes), but the whole game, nobody on either team was moving smoothly. It was verging on unplayable.

Since they released the logo design, I have thought it has not fit in with the rest of the ranks. It would look better for the game for the silver-colored part to be gold.

If it works fine everywhere except for chrome, just don't play on chrome. Its that simple...

What happened to the next phase of the clans system coming out like 2 months after clans were introduced? I haven't heard a thing about them in a vlog in a few months. The whole system is essentially actual robbery right now. 36 dollars for a clan battle thing that we have not used, only 12 member slots, and a clan chat. I think this topic should stay in problems and solutions until the next phase is put in the game. It's a problem, and it needs a solution.

My guess is it will be 2022. And the next phase of the clans update won't be until 2020.

Would be nice for it to be written out. Its not great to have to watch a 14 minute video to compensate for a few paragraphs of text.

Yep, and if your double damage runs out after you shoot, it does not do double damage. If the turret has already fired the projectile with DD, the projectile should do double.

I know this is late, but that is something that happens for all projectile turrets (think about rico). Its not what physics says is right, but they have already said that they won't fix it, as it is not a huge deal.

The screenshot you posted is just a screenshot of you in a game, with nothing out of the ordinary. There is no communication tab.
