Nice update, especially for CP battles. It is preventing one sided battles. Now there is an option for the team to come back from behind. I will also join a battle half way even if the score difference is very high. I don't understand the criticism of crystals getting shared almost equally. If players won't join, how will you have a good battle fund ? After the update, do you see many players leaving after every battle ?

SaS is the way forward ! The frequency of days between my logins are increasing now a days since the battles are not fun any more. Drugging is creating one-sided battles that once you scout through all available battles, you end up closing the browser. I got 300+ dp earned through rewards , but I hardly uses more than 5 in any battles. But I was amazed to see how some players use health kit every min , especially in Polygon. If you say that it doesn't matter if non-paying players leave, you don't know business. No one will play if they find only a few battles with only half the number of allotted places filled and buyers also will leave the game. So, you provide unfair advantage to buyers, non-buyers will leave and the cascading effect will be that buyers will become non-buyers and eventually leave. Make the game subscription based so that all players contribute. More players you get, the cost of subscription will be less such that one won't mind spending one time meal amount for a month on TO. But I totally disagree with the creator of this post in that TO should make it free at their own expense.

I know this question had been discussed in length and breadth here, but I am still confused - How does paint protection calculated ? I found the following theories in this forum (X is the protection percentage) 1. (100-X)% of the damage from turret will be effected on the hull This seems to be the most sensible and viable answer. For example, if the rail inflicts 150hp damage, with 10% protection, it will be 135 2. The health of the hull will be increased by X% against that particular turret Here I have the following questions - Does the percentage is calculated based on stock arrmour (hunter M2 has 200) or Mu'ed ones (My Hunter M2 is now at 210) - If the hull is already hit and now have 150hp, how much protection will it get - X% of 150 or X% of initial Armour. If #2 is the logic in place, then it makes no sense to buy paints which offers less than 30% protection for light hulls like Wasp and Hornet.

Almost impossible in big maps with lots of open grounds like Serpuhov. If there are multiple shafts, they can scan the whole area so that no one can get out of cover. Most of them would be sitting behind enemy lines. Laser makes it a fair battle.

I guess , Shaft with laser is being fair to the game. I used to get annoyed in Serpuhov when my tank gets hit from no where and by the time the team realize it's position, it would have got several kills. If it is sitting at the far end of the map, only another shaft could get it. If you feel that Rail is easy with auto aim, then you haven't used it at all. Rail's auto aim angle less than even thunder. It does not do horizontal auto aim. Auto aim wont work if you are shooting in anticipation of some one coming out from hiding spot. Its laser trail is almost same as Shaft's laser. There are several pro Shaft users who can really do peek-out attack tactics really well. They do it every 3 secs. There are shafts who go for flags as well. And for every one who says Shaft is getting nerfed every time, it's arcade shots got an increase last time. Slow reload ? what are the reload times for Shaft and Rail ?

some times Hunter M1 feels sluggish, just like M0. Any one else experienced that ? Any way, going to get M2 tomorrow.

Please provide suggestions asap - I was planning Rico M2 and Hunter M2 along with Rustle expecting a 50% sale. Now at 40% , I don't have enough crystals for rustle. I haven't used Rico M1 for a while and relying on Rail M2 for long in Serpuhov, rio, Kungur , Polygon and Sandbox. Hence wondering if it is a wise move to drop Rico M2 for rustle. My Hornet M2 is easily one-shotted by DP Thunders and I am desperately in need of protection. Will this be a good idea ? Another option I consider is to have both Rico and Hunter , but get Cedar. My logic is that its thunder protection is same as Rustle, Freeze is no where to be seen now a days and Isida protection in Rustle is nothing.

You can still get Hornet M2 right ? Then how come you got ruined ? Use your energy for next 3-4 days and you can surely get Tundra as well.

Will you spend your hard earned money or will you do a job for free for some one else's entertainment? I am sure your answer will be 'No'. Then why not be happy with what you are getting for free ?

40% is still a good sale and hence no need to down vote. Along with player's expectations , TO should be economically viable as well for devs to invest their time and efforts on it. I had planned my purchases based on expected 50%sale. Now, I will have to give up on MU plans to get the turrets and hulls I wanted. I am sure that every one would have a must have list and another nice to have list. 10% less discount means you need to give up only some nice to have items.

Thanks for the advice. I regularly play in Seruphov, Rio, Kungur and occasionally in Sandbox and Polygon. Mostly CTFs, some times TDM. Recently finding the need for a short range turret , while defending quite near the flag.

I have Rail and Hornet at M2 , Rico and Hunter at M1. My primary weapon is Rail on either of these two hulls. My purchase plans for the much anticipated sale is as follows (I expect to reach 125 k crystals by next week) . 1. Hunter M2 for sure 2. If the sale is 50% , I was planning to get Rico M2 (It was my first M1 and had a great time with it) , but Fire M2 is interesting me quite a lot. Please help me make a choice 3. Any other options I may have overlooked with the amount of crystals I have ? I had plans for Rustle , but depends on how good the sale will be. -Agni

I guess this update is good in the above scenario. No one is going to join this battle with such a skewed score. With no opposition, you are not going to get more score as well. So, just reach the cap and start over. Your share of battle fund actually increases when people leave at this stage. I have seen battles where one side is out numbered and the opposition is killing every one at respawn point itself. Why you want to play for 15 mins in such a condition to start over? But ideally, the battle should end not by limitting caps in CTF, but looking at how much onsided the fight is. You can take the parameters like rate of capture and rate of kills by both sides to decide. I mentioned both because the dominating team can avoid capturing flags and contiue destroying. -

TO should move to subscription model like a few dollors for 6 months. This will ensure steady revenue , stop complaints about buyers causing drug wars and no more sales like these. No one will mind a few dollors, but if large number of players opt, it will be good revenue for TO. To all those bragging about not buying crystals, how do you expect TO to sustain with continous development and infrastructure if there is no money ? I love tanki and I will make a contribution.

I don't agree that Rail M2is not good with other M2s. I find it quite decent on Hunter M1. But, on Hornet, it can't stand an assault . If you are facing Twins or Ricos , you won't be even able to get in a shot.

I am not a shaft user, but agree that it was not fair to attach the laser beam. It was OP due to very high damage from a very long distance and little trace, but the devs should have done the following instead of laser beam 1. Reduce scope area 2. Introduce variance like wind factor and distance to compute where the bullet will hit, just like real world sniping. This can be fun and challenging 3. Introduce variable focus so that the user needs to change focus to see who is near or far. Just suggestions......don't know technical feasibility

Actually, I was blaming the combo. Hornet can't hold up till Rail takes a second shot, even if it try to move away from the opponent with a similar hull. A good paint is indispensable on this hull.

While using Rail and trying to take the flag , keep the shot for the imminent threat. Do not look for an easy kill since 6 sec reload will leave you vulnerable. I guess Rail has the longest reload interval between shots. How long a shaft takes to recharge fully ? Shafts can discharge even before charging fully ?

The main problem I see with Hornet+Rail , after using it for several levels, is that it can't withstand any of the M2 turrets. With drugged Firebirds and Isidas , the available speed is not enough to get away from them if your first rail shot did not kill the opponent. M2 hornet can be finished in one M2 Rail shot or two M2 Thunder shot. Even M3 Hornet has only 165hp stock health. You need a very good paint which gives at least 30% protections against any two major enemies. I am now using Hunter M1 with Rail and planning to get Hunter M2 in next sale. Even though Hunter M1 has just 30hp more than hornet M2, it is more stable under Rico or Twin attack. It is very good at defense/midfield and for occasional foray into capturing flags. Hornet is a big no no for DM as well.

Thank you Leekh/falcosenna1 . Really appreciate your advice. I might go for Rustle this time if it is good sale (read 50%) . Emerald will require me to earn another 200k exp points and I need some Thunder protection at the moment.

Hello Guyz, I have M2 Rail, M2 Hornet, M1 Hunter and M1 Rico . The garage includes basic paints - Marine(15), Forester (15), Metallic(18), Lead(27) and Dragon(31). I like defending with Hunter+Rail under heavy attack or aggressive with Hornet+Rail/Rico if team defense is good. I would be ranking up as Major shortly and now want to plan for purchasing paints at next sale. I was aiming for Rustle and hence did not make any paint purchases during last sale. But now it seems Freeze is no more a threat (will it make a come back in higher ranks ?) making Rustle the same as half priced Cedar. My current threat assessment for Hornet is as follows - Thunder M2 > Isida M2 > Firebird M2> Rail M2. I could be having 90k-100k crystals at the time of next sale. Please let me know your thoughts on whether I should go for Rustle itself or get Cedar+Electra. Sorry for the long post. Regards, Agni Vool
