Says somebody with a Premium Account. :D

I do not feel deprived by the absence of any test drive for me, but the offers of 5% off and 7% off on equipment no better than what I already have are downright insulting. <_<
-
My first discount offer is comically stupid: 5% off on a Viking M1, when I already have Hunter M2, which is faster and stronger. If I made a maximum effort, I could rank up and find out if the discount also applies to the M2, but the 5% isn't worth it.

They are making it cheaper for me to play. I have not spent any real money ever on this account, and they remove any reason for me to do so for any of my accounts.

I expect Tanki to give us progressively less and less. Before they rolled out Daily Missions it was promised that the prize amounts would be larger than the daily gifts. Now we get the same amount as the daily gifts in return for playing battles that are boring and/or for which we do not have the proper equipment. This sort of disinformation is becoming a regular occurrence.

Which is true?- 1) They make more money for selling to more customers at a higher discount,or 2) They make more money because fewer customers will spend more money for the same amount of crystals at a lower discount.
-
I would be very interested to know if a 25% discount gets Tanki more money because there are enough people who have much more money than I do to buy the same number of crystals they would have regardless, or whether they would have made more money with a 50% discount and many more people buy crystals. While I doubt that this information will ever come to us, they had better be collecting it for their own sake.

There is an excellent chance that they will transfer garages. If they charge a whopping fee for each account moved, they will make that 'more money' you just mentioned more quickly than any other way.

Score cap for standard battles (Updated on August 28)

Between this update and the missions that make me spend so much time with Polygon map and DM mode, I now find Tanki Online boring. I think I will now have to find something else to play. -

No, no! A few months ago, they removed a five-minute game limit because everybody thought it was too short a game. They believe that the players will like three- and four- minute games as long as they do not know in advance that the game will be that short. I cannot think of any other reason for this update. Or we can play DMs, you know, the battle mode that I never play except when forced by missions. -

I think this update would make mines considerably less useful, but any mines I drop are already cleared every three minutes by "an error occurred". -

This update looks like a supervisor found a couple of devs with no assignments yesterday and said, "Well, do something! Make a change in the game to justify your pay." -
That happened frequently for the first few weeks of Missions, and now it doesn't. There are rarely battles that combine my missions, and when I create a battle, I can sit there and the spiders will tie me to my chair before anyone joins. It is beginning to be really boring.
