the devs have struggled for years to make a mol decent gameplay and have only succeeded in turning the initial marvelous project into a kindergarten ... and I am not even referring to releases like 123 or the notorious RB or the new physics ... do you really now expect a balanced version from a company which has failed so many times over so much easier problems ??? do not confuse noobs with mults - the latter is intentional noobs often sabotage, but usually due to the lack of understanding of the game mechanics and mostly due to the lack of maturity, integrity and common sense (we have too many teens and even kids in TO)

a short list of what noobs typically do: - attack with a shaft - mount a short-ranger (like izida or firebird) on a heavy hull and dash to enemy quarters - organize battles with firebird on light hulls ... and even worse - enjoy it )) - do not rotate the turrets for fast reaction - do not swing the hulls to get better aiming/firing angles - has never heard of the way to adjust his camera - have never heard of team duties according to the equipment, such as a defender, midfielder, attacker and in CTF just ride forward to enemy base with a long-ranger - pick any supplies, even if they don't need them, because "they have a mission" ... often a noob will take a RK in front of a flag-carrier with fading exp - ask "admin golt pliiiz" ... or "gold was" ... gold falling randomly means nothing to them )) - want peace and parkour in regular battle modes - use the battle chat to talk to each other - discuss battle strategies in open chat - if they have taken the flag and died and the flag was picked up by a mate, think it was theirs and demand to have it back - leisure around in team modes, with no clear idea what to do - fire with twins or hammer from one side of the map towards an enemy on the others side - use izida to kill in team modes rather than to heal mates (izida is a supporter, a doctor, but noobs use it for killings) - shoot with rail at my titan in prodigy and wander why I'm still alive - complain when others use supplies or use OP kits will add more ... this list is actually quite long ... esp, having in mind the nowadays contingent in TO ))

It is simple as this - parkour in any mode except in PRO and in DM = 100% sabotage, so in all other types of battles parkouring wrecks should not only be harassed and killed by their mates and foes, but must also be banned and stripped off their achievements by the violators !

I will share my opinion, reg the paints, one may need to crawl to rank 30, covering a mol decent spectrum of guns: - forester/metallic = 1 500 - dragon = 3 000 - tundra = 35 500 - savanna = 129 000 - taiga = 210 000 - prodigy = 192 000 there are other options, of course, but for a total of 570k ... this is an affordable set, I assume

agree that top paints help you survive longer, esp on small maps but this is valid only when you already have the hulls fully MUed. like many here, I am a veteran and on my high mults I have almost all fully upgraded, incl the paints ... but it took me years to do that; on this account I have M2 viking, M2 shaft, 96% M2 smoky, 66% M2 hammer, etc ... that's why now I can afford to focus my corrosion (soon it will be full) ... but I also have tons of supplies to ease my days )) yet, if you are a relatively new-comer, after the rebalance, then it might be wiser to invest your time/money to MU your hulls rather than buying many paints for instance - for 1 mln cry one can get the affordable Taiga and Prodigy + full MUs on hornet (which provides extra 26% armour, apart from other benefits) and this will allow to fight along for some extra minutes. bottom line - paints help, but they should not be one's priority, not in the current TO economics
