Nice well crafted article and hits all the high points in a CTF game. Don't have a thing to add since you covered points like taking the bullet for the team (Hey you come back to fight again!) and addressing the Mults (I call them toddlers - I want I want I want gimmie gimmie the flaaaaaaaag) in the match who just ruin the whole team element that make CTF so exciting.

This speaks to that which is the most wretched of CTF Maps.... Monte Carlo! Only the bravest dare run the gauntlet of Shafts, Rails and Thunders waiting to pick you off on your run. Only the fleetest of foot can fly over the great divide lest they be nudged off track by the impact force of a well placed shot. A hard fought battle of wills (laced with a heavy dose of supplies) to prevent and pursue the ultimate goal. Matches are won/loss often by a single point. Capping the flag is rarely done by those noble enough to sacrifice themselves to snatch it from the jaws of the enemy. Camping shafts may enjoy the greatest spoils of battle due to their profusion of kills. However the match is decided by those that are guided by self sacrifice. This intrepid wasp, battle scarred and weary, will he make the jump, will he disintegrate on the landing? Will he make it to the next member of the bucket brigade to move the flag on one inch at a time. So much hope so close and yet so far. He's at the most vulnerable point in the mission, in the air and exposed like a ripe apple to be plucked. How many in pursuit to line up even a marginal shot to spoil all that effort. His jump not quite on the mark, was he harried, was he nudged will he fall to his demise in the bottomless chasm below? One will never know. Just like the outcome of that most wretched of CTF Maps........ Monte Carlo!

Loved the format. Constantly had to change tanks and tactics to keep up. Extremely frustrating when team was clueless :angry: , absolutely exhilarating when everyone was clicking together as a team :D . Would love to see the format come back. Think having 5 formats would spread things thin so absence makes the heart grow fonder. Can't wait to see it return. ^_^

Notice during a CP battle that we initially took the lead for a few minutes at the start. When the opposing side took control they were able to close the gap as expected (according to the new update) However after they tied the CP score their score continued to increase while ours was continually decreasing. They took a rather commanding lead before we could turn it around. At what point does the role of the leading team change? If the loosing side can close the gap, tie and then take and increase their lead does this now not make them the leaders. As such why would our score continue to drop at this point? Makes for a very unpredictable outcome. Thanks.

Like the update. ^_^ Agree with other posts about maybe having a preconfigured kit button that you can save a combination of turret/hull/paint that you like to use. 3 saved combinations would be ideal. (Fast attack, Mid range, and heavy defence) Sometimes I'm in a battle where the wasp/rail is just taking to much of a beating and I'd like to switch up to something different. Or your in a battle where you see you're falling behind and want to have a combination more suited for a defensive posture. Or if you need a quick strike on offence you want to go back to the wasp/rail.... ;) Can't wait to try the CP format. Guess no more mega crys payouts. :o

Are there any plans for drilling into stats like -How many flags capped -How many flag runners destroyed -How many flags recovered -How many CP points captured -How many CP points neutralized -Best weekly rank ever achieved for Crys, GB and XP -# of times made the top 100 list (I`ll never make that but still might be cool) Love the page, looks great, love all the new things coming out keeping the game fresh and excitiing.
