  1. The only thing I want to see in an update is nerfing the Damage and Armor supplies. Too bad that's not happening.

    Kit Cost Calculations?

    Hi. I think the kits are calculating costs incorrectly. Previously, I believe that when you had an item in a kit, it subtracted the cost of that item from the full cost of the kit before coming up with the pre-sale total. Now it does not seem to be doing that. For example, I have the Hornet M3 hull. The "Legend" kit includes: Railgun M3 218300 Hornet M3 (bought) 158300 Prodigi 55000 Griffon T-A M3 250000 Total: 681600 Discounted at 40% 408960 Already bought for the sum of 158300 You save 114340 So the 158300 for the Hornet should be subtracted from the total of 681600 before doing the 40% discount to figure out what the cost of the Legend kit is for me, and I know in the past it was, but for some reason it is no longer doing that.

  4. Hi Tanki! I had a great time with ASL mode this holiday season, and I hope you'll keep it around. I loved the map you created specifically for it, and I hope you will create a couple more (or adapt some of the existing maps) for ASL. Here's hoping...

    Pretty much every game I play now, I see drugging complaints. Personally, I don't come down in either direction. Players who like drugs can use as many as they want, players who don't can avoid them. What I don't understand is why Tanki doesn't support both users, by simply allowing us to set supply limits (or not) when creating battles. It would please both types of users, and would end once and for all of the complaints and arguments about drugging, which would improve the game for everyone.

    Unfortunately, your proof is not sufficient to take action. The best proof is a video which clearly shows the violation. Quality of the video must allow moderators to easily understand nicknames and ranks of all the players. Screenshots with bad language, insults and profanity MUST be posted in the Chat Violators section.

    The map is pretty fun, but I absolutely hate DM and TDM modes. I wish they had included CP and CTF.

    Does anyone know what the "natural masking texture" on some paints actually does? It looks to me like tanks with those paints actually disappear past a certain range if they are sitting still behind trees or bushes. Can anyone verify this, or know what the range is, or are there other cases in which they disappear?
  10. So I'm still noticing a lot of imbalanced battles, even with the new score caps in place. Firstly, I do find the score caps generally unsatisfying. When our team is making a comeback and has 90 CP to the opponents' 100, it's terrible to stop the game early at that point. So if the score caps remain, I certainly think they should include a difference between the two team scores (flags, CPs, etc). Secondly, it seems to me that there are two real problems with team imbalances that score caps do not address: 1. When a game ends, it starts again immediately with the same teams. The losing team generally quits (or many players do), meaning that the team that lost in the first place now also has fewer players right from the start of the next game. I'd be in favor of pausing the start of the next game until teams are at most 1 player up or down. 2. This is probably an easy fix. Right now, when you want to join a game and there are an even number of players on each team, you can join either side. Players trying to get crystals will always join the winning team. This is the case even if the winning team is winning by a lot even though the teams are even. A possible fix would be to require a player to join the team that is behind when there are an even number of players on both teams. That could only lead to more team balance. Thank you.
  11. I wanted to actually play games with the new update before responding, but I've now played a good number of games and I really don't like it. I can see that in extreme examples you might want to end a game early, but in most cases you don't. I just played a game of CTF Rio and the game ended in 5 minutes. It was a full 10v10 game, so the game could have kept going and the losing team could have pulled it together, or some players might have dropped and been replaced by better players, but we'll never know. The back and forth of battles, the ability to come from behind, that's a huge amount of fun, and it's been removed from the game. It does seem like there's primarily dislike for this update on the forums. Is there a separate beta-testing group (of a wide range of players) who try the updates first?
  12. This is a fantastic idea. If they want to cap the games to prevent 10 v 2 games running a full 30 minutes, then base it on the difference in scores.
