Without fail, he always greeted me in the chat with, "Hello, classy lady." Then I'd ask how he was doing, and without fail, he'd reply, "Finer than a frog's hair!" It's hard to believe I won't read his kind greetings or quirky responses anymore, and I'll miss his encouraging messages to me, too. But most of all, my heart goes out to his family; a man loved in an online game must have been treasured and adored by his real life family and friends. Rest easy, PC-Jack. I finally told my mom about Tanki and my small role in it. She was surprised and then confused for a few moments, but she finally smiled and said how wonderful it was that I was "doing some good in the world." :) As for my own sons, I fully approve of them playing Tanki, of course!

I loved this article! Brought back memories from when I was a lower rank and needed to explain, daily, that not only am I female, but also a mother (gasp!) who just loves playing the game. You can be sure that nothing shuts down unwanted flirting like telling the boys, "I'm probably as old as your mom." :)
