Firstly, you gotta learn the drop zones on maps you play the most, there's a section on the wiki dedicated to drop zones, just pick your map and learn em. If you're looking to get golds, smaller maps are easier to navigate and find the drop zones, so chose them over the larger maps.Secondly, hulls and turret help a tonne, the perfect gold catching kit is probably fire and dictator, for the height of the dictator and area damage of the fire. You will need repair kits and Double armours if you want to stand a realistic chance in getting a gold also, when the box first drops equip an armour, and use a repair amongst the crowd as the box is falling. Lastly, scout out the surroundings of the drop zone, is there a ramp you can use near it to get that little bit of a height advantage? Or maybe an elevated bit near it? Just sitting on the drop zone won't be enough at higher level battles

Apologies for the inactivity guys, the majority of my time has been spent the past couple of weeks preparing for my exams, and building a website for coursework. but now they are over I should progressively become more and more active. Have I missed anything much?
