Hey, it's me again, I'd like to just add another point of information here... This update adds MORE incentive to spam. I'll get some screenshots in a bit maybe, but in 4 different servers out of the ENs, I've seen hoards of people just spamming the chat and loads of bans. You could say "The mods are able to do their job better." However, this isn't the case. The emptiness just fuels people to start spamming, so this update actually leads to an increased, not a decreased, risk of flooders.

To be honest, me and about 4/5 of tankers I've talked to agree this update sucks. Why? Let me give you the reasons. 1) It looks empty. At first glance, the Tanki chat now looks completely dead. I am I tanker who LOVES playing on Tanki. However, with this new update, I was seriously considering not even bothering playing, because the Tanki chat looks like nobody is even on it - because nobody IS anymore. People don't wanna chat due to the fact that they can't have discussions with more than one other person, and this turns people off. If incoming tankers see a chat teeming with life, they get excited to get in the fray and talk about combos, gold boxes, battle types, and of course things outside of Tanki. Now? All they see are people flooding and a few scattered battle links that don't fit their rank. This seriously disuades some tankers from playing, and they feel the need to express their opinion of how dead it looks, and then log off never to return to the game again. And for every tanker who says they don't like it, there's 50 behind them who don't say anything, yet still hate it just as much. 2) Less spread of useful information. Say one tanker has asked the general chat "What's the best way to have a good chance of getting a gold box?" Now, there's a tanker there happy to help, and ether gives them the http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=263310 link, or happily explains in their own words.... except they send it directly to the tanker. Now, the 5 other tankers who could have benefitted from that can't read it. And that could damage their Tanki career in case a gold, or whatever piece of informations said helpful tanker has divulged, comes to fruition in their battle and they don't know what to do. 3) This is more for personal friend circles, but it offers more of a chance for tankers to talk about others behind their back. Now, let's look at the "Pros", shall we? 1) Chat is less cluttered, especially for people who want to battle and not be distracted. Except we already covered that. Less clutter = More cleanly, also = More dismal and empty. Also, for people getting distracted part, can't they go into their settings and select "Turn Off Chat?" 2) More opportunity for mods to supervise us. Well, they could supervise us JUST as well before, if not MORE because more people were talking before. We still know if they're there cuz of bans, so we'll still know when we have to be behaving extra good. 3) Easier to pick out flooders. Well, couldn't you spot them relatively easy before anyway? And won't people who were sending lots of messages in the main chat before not considered flooding, yet now they'll be banned for flood just because their messages are physically closer together? 4) Easier to talk one on one without people butting in. Isn't that was the black list is for, which we still had earlier anyway? Besides, what is they offer some nice insightful opinion on what Tanker A and Tanker B are arguing? PLEASE, Tanki Staff, I BEG of you, revise this update, or even better yet, get rid of it. I used to go on Tanki to relax, have a good time with my friends, etc. Now, I can't even have a group chat with them in the main chat, and we can't go into battles because our ranks aren't compatible. And any one of us could miss out on important information, people explaining updates (that are hopefully actually good updates), or information of which battles we want to go to (i.e. Tanker A directly to Tanker B: "Hey' we're having a 4v4 in Sandbox right now! It's gonna be all XP, I hope people join" when you're an XP fanatic yourself
