M2 Twins at 80k or M3 Isida at 116k?

I feel a bit in no man's land heading up to the supposed sale. My garage is tiny: I play, almost exclusively Smoky M2 (23/50) and Titan M2 (19/50) with Tundra (fully upgraded). I'm not sure that I can rationalize buying any M2 hull or turret unless someone can convince me otherwise. I prefer large maps with lots of players, but will play polygon or sandbox as well. I'm not into firebird or freeze, maybe twins. Hull-wise, maybe Viking. Past advice regarding paints has been to wait as most of what's available at my rank becomes obsolete quickly as I rank. Do you agree? I noticed a lot of M3 smoky's during a DM battle with a lot of very high ranks. Savannah, perhaps? So...should I simply keep saving and purchase M3 kits as I progress (they may provide the best value). Should I micro upgrade what I have (during the sale period?) even though it seems very costly to do so? I'm sitting on about 185k crystal wise. I appreciate any feedback. Cheers!

Just finished MU'ing smoky m1 and titan m1 to m2 parameters. Will not get the actual M2 tank until two ranks from now. I would like to upgrade my paint collection. I principally use Tundra and Jaguar for now. I play medium to large maps, with the occasional polygon tussle. I'm in the spark digital rustle loam blacksmith range. Choose two and tell me why, please.
