This makes a lot more sense than what I imagined when I read "energy chrystals). I did a little research and I found that China actually had a plan to mine the moon for helium-3. The sun radiates out helium-3 but most of it doesn't make it to the earth because of our electrmagnetic field. The moon however does not have a electromagnetic field so it recieves several times the amount of helium-3 as earth does. The problem lies when you try mining it. Due to the fact that it is radiated all over the surface you would have to process ridiculous amounts of lunar soil to get any useful amount of the estimated 10-15 tons that are there. As I make rough drafts I would love hearing things that you absolutely don't want to see and perhaps a few things that you would.

Any story that I intend to write would be for entertainment purposes only. The story would be governed by the game and would change with tanki rather than the other way around. I plan for the evolution of society in the universe I create to reflect the evolution of tanki online. Also energy crystals? Yeah..... no.

Me? I know of his works and they are quite fascinating. But I wouldn't say that I take inspiration from him. Why do you ask?

I know the basic post apocalyptic story where society now consists primarily of tankers entering into popular and deadly tank battles. But is this all there is? might I pursue developing my own mythology and publishing it online. I have some concepts that might turn into a great story about a tanker in the tanki universe. The first time I was directed to the page for applying to become a reporter application has now been closed (thank you anyway barracuda). Is there someone I can go to regarding this type of writing? -Smith

How about an EMP: ElectroMagnetic Pulse, turret? It can be either short range or long rane, if it's short range than it would have a wide spread like hammer, and if it were long range it would be focused like the railgun. It could do several differant things: Disable a persons tank for a set time, cause a persons tank to respond eradically to controls, and it could cause an apponants turret to have a greatly increased charging time.

For picture 2: Look at these two. They take refuge in their heavy, mobile fortresses, sacrificing speed; they have even stacked on double armor for fear of losing their prize. But blindly they give me the opportunity to snatch it from directly under their barrels. I see my target, too high up for anyone to snag. I wait, watching it swing gently, slowly down. Nobody pays heed to me hiding away from the conflict. Now the time is ripe. I glide quietly in with my nimble wasp and pounce on my precious prey, laughing at these two in their undiscerning squabble. I win.
