    Patch Update #469 - Released 12th July 2017

    "Overdrive" might just be the final nail in the coffin of TO, for me. It comes at the end of a long string, ever the years, of horrible updates that have slowly chipped away at the game. And now this - I think this is it. Finito. "Overdrive" makes it impossible to play if you don't want to drug. It's good for revenue ... But do you want to know what is bad for revenue? When players abandon TO entirely. Goodbye. It was really fun, for a long time. I am sorry you had to wreck it.

    Changes in the battle creation system

    All of these updates are there to drive revenue, not to discourage mults and prevent sabotage. Fair enough ... The devs need to be paid. Can't expect TO to run this game for free. Hate to see them kill the golden goose though, with increasingly restrictive, homogenizing updates that take the individuality and creativity out of it.

    Changes to micro-upgrades

    This update was generous in it's implementation - it amounts to a big giveaway to anyone who MUed any parameter maximally, and I made out well in this regard. Nevertheless I don't like the update. One of the core principals of TO is that you can individuate yourself and come up with your own style and equipment to match. This update is in direct contravention to that. You never know what people might want to MU, and for which reason. It's a shame to take that away.
