Ramming Speed: You will deal your tank's full HP as damage to the next enemy you ram within 20 seconds, but you will also take their full HP as damage. You will also gain a 50% speed boost for the first 10 seconds after activating this. If you don't ram an enemy within 20 seconds, your tank will take 25% of its max HP as damage and move 75% slower for 45 seconds. One use per life. How's this? Could be nice if you have low HP and are close to the enemy base. Of course, most would only do this if they were really desperate. But you'd also get the crazy ones who'd just use Hornet and spam this at people. Either way, they'd be doing an average of >1k damage per life if they used this correctly.- 2,749 replies

category Ideas for Hulls and Overdrives!
NinjaBlox123 replied to Ilia.ArchangeI in Ideas and Suggestions
But... The data says that Titan is the most armored... Titan M2: 3235.29 HP Mammoth M2: 3117.65 HP A hull with a gun stuck in the forward position with a 45 degree firing arc would be nice, like on the IRL Churchill. If you aim forwards, both your guns would fire. It would put more emphasis on flanking. Of course, this tank would be slower, due to the second gun, and have slightly less armor than Medium hulls. -
Damn, I was about to suggest the same thing, but with a scope for a laser guidance system instead...

Smoky M2 Alt: Load antitank rounds! The gunner had a bit too much vodka and loaded more HEAT shells into the tank. Unfortunately, having more high explosives inside the tank is probably not a great thing when someone shoots at them. Thankfully, he put up some more armor so that smaller caliber rounds will not set off explosions. 5% chance to either take 1600 (M0 hull)/2000 (M1 hull)/2500 (M2 hull)/2800(M3 hull) damage when hit. Vulcans, Freezes, Isidas, and Hammers cannot detonate the ammo rack. +150% chance to deal a critical hit +10% effectiveness to any modules defending against turrets that can detonate your ammunition

Taking repair boxes while they're at full health Shooting with Twins, Ricochet, or Hammer while they're out of range Not turning their turret (Unless they're Magnum, obviously) Brawling with Shaft "omg hacker" Leaving match while they have a 50 point advantage and on a team of 3 (Oddly specific? Well, it's happened...) Facehugging with Thunder/Hornet

Shells are already pointed. And just being "sharp" doesn't help objects move faster at hypersonic speeds. They need to be reinforced-- which is not good for an HE shell, since it'll need to explode on impact-- and need more propellant. Unless your plan is to turn these shells into APCR rounds, this doesn't really make that much sense.

Yeah, I think so too... It feels like a crappier version of Wasp with slightly better stability at this point. I've found that Wasp is better at turning without sliding or drifting though.

Striker: HEAT Warheads (M1) — Pros: No more self-damage, slightly increased damage per shot — Cons: No more splash damage, lower projectile speed. Top-attack missiles (M2) — Pros: Much higher damage, can shoot over walls — Cons: No damage on a miss, cannot aim at a face hugging target, cannot dumbfire. Magnum: Naval gun (M3) — Pros: Much higher splash damage and knockback — Cons: Fire rate drops to incredibly low RPM (2/min should be enough), ridiculous recoil, very noticeable shell arc and muzzle flash, longer barrel increases likelihood of being sniped. AP shells (M2) — Pros: Higher damage, faster shells — Cons: No splash damage, less effective at shooting over walls because of flatter trajectory. Isida: Nanite generator (M1) — Pros: Activating heals every friendly tank around you, heals yourself at a quarter of the rate that it heals everyone else, larger battery size — Cons: Can no longer deal damage, you shine bright blue/green while this is active.

valid Ability to chose targets
NinjaBlox123 replied to NinjaBlox123 in Ability to chose targets Ideas and Suggestions
I feel that there should be an option to set a primary target near the general area of the center of your screen if you don’t want to shoot the closest enemy. The target would be marked with some kind of crosshair or marker above them while they are in your line of sight, and selecting another target or looking away from them would clear the current target. Holding the “mark target” key would also clear the target, letting you just shoot the closest target in your aiming triangle. This could be used for any cannon with a decent amount of range, making sure that they hit their intended target and not a tank trying to distract you by rushing you. -
NinjaBlox123: It was a UN that I'd used for like everything before this. I didn't have enough money to buy a name change. samokhodnaya_ustanov: My first alt's username is "Armored gun carriage" in Russian but cut off. Uses a Magnum. Doc_House: Uses an Isida. Should be self-explanatory. Zumwalt_rail: Named for USS Zumwalt, which was supposed to mount railguns. Obviously, uses a railgun. gyrazev-shipunov: The (misspelled) name of the most awesome 30mm autocannon ever, the GSh-6-30. Uses a Vulcan. 105_Sherman: Named for the M4A3 Sherman (105). Uses a Thunder. Panzer-abwehr-kanone: "Antitank gun" in German. Uses a Shaft.

Describe your best battle across all your accounts. Whether it's great because of your D/L ratio, the adrenaline rush you got in it, or a rare occurrence, tell it! I'll start: Just now, on my alt, 105_Sherman, I was in a CP match on Highlands and my team was doing pretty well. However, just as we crossed 80 points, the other two members of my team left, leaving me facing three enemies. I fought my hardest and ended up with about 40 kills and 20 deaths, but the enemy had won by 3 points at 64-61. I did, however, leave the game with 73 crystals whereas they had ~30, ~20, and ~5 crystals. If any of you three are out there, GG. And if the other two guys from my team are here... Thanks for the glory.

The damage calculation for this thing should happen right when the shot is fired, meaning that a hit while the player is dead will still do damage. I'm not seeing the damage, even when the shots should've killed the target. The damage should also still be doubled if the player was using double damage when the shot was fired, but it expired before the missile hits. If you load a nuke and fire it, but then decide to change to a conventional warhead, the launched missile will still be a nuke, whether you like it or not. This goes for Twins, Ricochet, and Magnum too.

Christmas 2015 but with two forts? And the tree in the middle of the valley needs to be a fir tree. No substitutes!
-
It's named after the Stryker ATGM platform. Obviously, they couldn't straight up name it "Stryker," since that's the whole vehicle.
-
A good Magnum player is really ridiculously annoying, since he'll be able to hit you basically anywhere you are. I still love the damn thing though.
-
You get so much EXP with this thing! I love it.
-
Overpowered as hell on Shepurov. Really good overall gun. It's also damn terrifying to go up against if you're not a heavier hull + vulcan.
-
The guy with the magnum... Why 45 degree angle? 20 will work fine. Why so much power?

PayPal currently has a promotion going on. With the double crystal card for the shop, I got 42000 crystals free.

500 on this account, 40.5k on my alt.

Lowest possible settings without making the game unplayable due to a tiny game window still brings the game down to about 15fps on my laptop.
-
Also the most addicting to use, however. http://ratings.tankionline.com/en/user/samokhodnaya_ustanov/ has a pretty good K/D.
