Don't get me wrong, I am not shy of a challenge but there comes a point where the challenge is simply too great to bridge the gap. Yes I can create a battle and be a "top dog" - providing enough people join but the numbers in the ranks below seem to have been quite scarce in recent times - maybe it's the time of day I am playing but I have seen as few as 4 CTF's on EN4 and 3 of them were 1v1, and this seems to be happening most days now.

This is not something I really noticed or paid much attention to until quite recently but the majority of battles I can join on server EN3 m(my default server) has a range of 8 ranks, normally starting at the rank of Major. As a mere Lieutenant Colonel I more often than not find myself up against Marshall's and Field Marshall's. I guess I am noticing it more as many of these players are buyers and the drug use, along with their M3 hulls and turrets is damned hard to compete against with M2. It seems to be getting harder to find battles where I am even in the middle of the pack, let alone one of the highest ranks in a battle and I am beginning to get a bit fed up with the imbalance. Maybe it is just me but would it not make more sense to reduce the range to perhaps 4 ranks, that would at least make for a more even battle surely? There also appears to be fewer lower rank players, or are they all hiding somewhere else? I can't even find them on EN4 -
If drugging is the order of the day then all I ask of Tanki is to remove repair kits as a supply that is accessed by the keyboard. As a pick up, that's fine but not as a buyable supply. I am sick to death of seeing repair kits used nearly every time on small maps such as Noise when they are running the flag. It is such a small map there is little chance of destroying them, especially when they already have double armour active.

Okay thanks, at least I know I am not going mad (although I might be). On a personal note - I do not like it which goes against the majority of the replies on that thread supplied. I wonder if those that thought it sounded a good idea still think it is, having the chance to have seen it in reality?

I don't normally take special note of the accumulation of CP's in that mode (I don't play CP's very often) and perhaps I was not paying enough attention BUT as I recall, if you captured a point and held it for a specific length of time (10 seconds?), the score at the bottom of the screen would gradually increase but never go down. In the last few games I have played on this mode, the captures points are up and down all over the place. Yesterday in a battle it was quite even at one point but within two minutes there was a massive difference in the scores and our team CP's had dropped. Is this new or has it always been this and I just never noticed?
