A few stereotypes about Shaft I wish would die

I think Shaft takes a LOT of practice to become an effective teammate in CTF. I take a lot of "noob" comments all the time and just ignore them because I believe they are out of frustration for not being able to outsmart a sniper. I don't call any of the other tankers "noobs" for charging in and destroying me while I'm sniping. I actually think those guys are the best opponents because I now have to figure out how to defend myself against their rush. I think all turrets have their challenges, so I don't proclaim that Shaft is the hardest to use or most difficult to master, but here are some things that make it really challenging and fun from my perspective: 1) You are a sitting duck when in scope. You have to have some part of your tank exposed to attack the enemy and when scoped, your peripheral vision is pretty much zero. 2) Teammates nudging you when you are in scope. Even the smallest nudge sends your aim off by a lot because you are so zoomed in. 3) Teammates racing in front of you while you are in scope, just about ready to shoot. I can't tell you how many shots I wasted on the back side of my own teammate. 4) Scanning the entire map for enemies and determining which ones are the biggest threat at that moment. Is it the Hornet racing over the bridge to capture your flag or the Railgun at their base that is most likely going to put a round into your turret any second? 5) Making the decision to give up on your scope when you lost a target and another hasn't appeared quickly enough. If you stay in scope too long, there's a high probability of getting hit. 6) Using Arcade Shot effectively to kill an enemy after you scope hit him, but didn't kill him on that first shot. You don't need to scope again in most cases, but you need to get off a good Arcade Shot in their direction to finish the tanker off. 7) Sweeping aim to lock onto a fast moving target. 8) Noticing the smallest thing out of place on a map that lets you know there is an enemy tanker hiding over there. Lastly, I wish there was some kind of reward system for sniping enemy tankers that are chasing down your teammate who has taken the enemy flag. I don't know how they would do that, but maybe a sniper kill of an enemy within a certain distance of the flag carrier could work. In fact, this could work for all turrets. Anyone killing an enemy in pursuit of the flag carrier should be rewarded.
