:D :D Glad to see there are soooo many smoky haters out here! Cuz it's my fav turret! :P Out of the 5 turrets I feel are OP my most hated turret is Hammer. As far as I'm concerned it takes no skill to use. Just point and shoot. And they call it a short to med range turret.. but unlike most turrets whose hit diminishes with distance.. it does not seem that way to me. It's def a turret the lil kids like because they can just run around a map and destroy other players. :angry:

You want to talk about OP turrets!?! try going up against the viking hammer combo! Not only does their damage go waaaaaay too far for a close range turret, but lots of times I've seen them kill hornets, hunters with two shots max. My tank is usually done 1 shot but I expect it up close. but to get the amount of dammage I get from halfway across esplenade? that's too much. I totally agree with Isida being OP as well, especially range on both these turrets. I'll say this again, and again... Turrets like firebird, freeze, hammer, are for the kids playin. all they want to do is run around the map blowing up other tanks. It don't take no skill to do that. Ya hear 'em brag, they rank up quicker cuz their K/D ratio is great. Rico and twins are like that also, So if hammer can 1 or 2 shot me, why can't I do the same to them with my smokey?

Yea, humans are arses. ya can escape it, but u gotta quit livin amongst 'em! :P Does freeze not get exp for doing that? they should! how about isida, don't they get exp for healing a teammate?

Let me know what's usually good for you cuz I never know when i'm be on. I love that wasp-smokey isn't noob-friendly!! I spent a fair bit of time learning not to flip, be flipped and run like the wind when I hadta! I admit, I still flip on newer maps, or when in that buttcheek squeezin ohhh bawls mode (can I say that?) I also think it's the MOST FUN combo in the relm of tanki. I've surprised myself more than once in one of those... I'll never be able to do that again in a... moments. I love speed so wasp fits me. and gawd how awesome the rotation speed is on the smokey. Thank you for the kind words. I got my M1's by doing M.U.'s. Why so many (50), and so expensive? I continue to M.U. the wasp-smokey combo when i earn enough crystals. Did I do something wrong with the first upgrades? After I finished the 50th it didn't show as M1 in my garage, so I looked and it said purchased M1 for like 6k I think it was. I thought after you did your M.U.'s it'd automaticly show the upgrade in the garage. Do ya all upgrade your combo of choice together or do the turret first then the hull? For now I think someone suggested forester for rail protection. Seems Storm is about 9k at my current rank. Really? I gotta wait that long before decent firebird prot?? ;) I certainly agree protection is priority... Imma be that ugly kid on tha block boomin ya baby! :ph34r: On my way tah M3 jonas

While I've not read all 47 pages of comments, and since this seems the likely place to make my thoughts known. I'm a lowly ranked kind of guy struggling to rank up and get better equipment. I offer the following comments and thoughts for y'all to ponder. First let me say, I really like this game, so much so I've stopped playing ALL others. That said, these are my comments and frustrations. 1) I wish there was a way to create a battle where only certain turrets are allowed to join. This would allow people to practice and learn from each other tactics for that weapon. I realize hull choice also affects game play/tactics but I'm talking about gaining weapon proficiency <sp>. 2) The following turrets are all highly disliked by me. In no particular order. Firebird, Freeze, Ricochete, Twins, Hammer, Rail. I'm of the opinion that the weapons should be representative of at least past or current battle tanks of the world war machine. Firebird & Freeze just deal waaaaay too much dammage. Even the cover and run arguments are pointless since both turrets have an after effect on the targets. I will talk about paints below. So save it. plz Rico & Twins not only too much damage but if you're using anything but a heavy hull they mess up your aim so you're unable to counter in time to survive unless you drug. Hammer, another over powered turret. They just run around like mini shotguns. Two hits from it and my M1 wasp is toast. They deal too much damage even at a medium distance. When you try to back away while firing they still get way more damage on me than I think reasonable. Rail, who thought of this turret? Product of your local space movie/game? Why is it able to shoot THROUGH other tanks and kill you? It's totally overpowered. Longest reload time I think helps, It's still an unrealistic weapon. Now, I realize the people that work so hard to provide us all this wonderful game and give us the ability to complain about anything and everything, they need to eat too. But there are some of us who cannot afford to contribute. Therefore please consider making things more affordable for those of us who's only choice is to put the time in battles in order to get crystals to "buy" our upgrades. M.U.'s are crazy priced, and so ain't the paints. Who but those that can afford to spend real money on their crystal bank can get multiple paints, M+ combos Even if you don't buy the M.U.'s and wait for the M1 - M3 + to unlock... they're unaffordable if you're buying them by time in game. (Especially when you suck like I do) I'll be years in game before I can get even a fraction of the M2's I see in a lot of people's garages. I think I do/have improved with hours spent in the game, but for me it's a difficult challenge ( I wouldn't want that to change either). I'd like to see the ability for some mentorship from upper ranks to lower ranks.. IE .. hey u like the smokey / wasp combo? Do you need any help learning to use it to the best advantage? Ability then to create private battles and work on getting better. I know I've not covered it all in this one post. Reckon I may post more later. Sorry, I know this is long winded for a NOOB. If I'm forever considered a noob for my thoughts. So be it. jonas
