Testing of Matchmaking System on EU servers

I don't like the new Matchmaking System. The old system gave me very good control over where and against whom I played. The new system gives me no such control. I end up in battles on the wrong map, against the wrong opponents and/or with the wrong team. On top of this, the new system adds a one to two minute wait every time I do a battle (a battle that is really short). With all the new waiting the intensity of Tank is way, way down. With the old system, I had a battle list and was free to navigate those battles as I saw fit. With the new system, I can enter one preference and after that 'Big Brother' decides where I should play. My player satisfaction is down so much that for the first time in years, I am considering looking at other games. There must be other ways you can solve whatever problems you were trying to solve with the new system. Please consider any of those instead of forcing the new system on us for standard battles. I have enjoyed and approved of most changes or additions you have made to Tanki in the past. However, this time you have mad fundamental changes that ruin my enjoyment of the game. Specific problems: 1) The wait mustn't be longer than 15 to 30 seconds. A one to two minute penalty every time you do a battle is insufferable. 2) With different friends and different equipment, I usually want to play on only two or three maps. The old system let me do this. The new doesn't. 3) Frequently I know the map I want to play on, and I am open to play either CTF or CP. I could do this with the old system, but not with the new. 4) With the old system, it was easy to have different friends join in on battles. No setup was necessary. With different friends, you just had to agree on the server and then look for battles where there was room for the group to play. 5) Once I, or my friends and I, find a battle we like, we want to be able to say in longer past the end of a 'battle period'. The old system let us do this. Finding a great battle and staying there for a couple of hours was one of the great joys of the old Tanki. Please don't take that away! 6) Once you introduced the daily missions, they rapidly became a favorite pastime for most tankers. Over time, we have learned that certain maps are good for certain missions: Polygon for experience and crystals, HIghways or Brest for supplies etc. I shouldn't play on Siege CP if I need to find repair kits etc. If my mission is about experience, I don't mind being on the loosing side, but if my mission is about a lot of crystals, I mind terribly. The new system doesn't reward this learning. It actually insults it because I know right away that I am in a lousy position to make progress on a mission when I am sent to an 'inappropriate' battle. Still, because the wait for another battle is so long and the new battle could be wrong too, I frequently don't leave but suffer through the battle hoping for an unlikely outcome. 7) I don't like that you removed mission feedback from inside a battle. I get no feedback when I finished a mission, I can't check my progress and I can't even remind myself of what exactly a mission was without leaving the battle! 8) Most of what I have complained about is not a problem if I did PRO Battles. However, once missions could only be finished in standard battles, I rarely play PRO Battles anymore. If I play with friends, it is almost always the case that at least one of them has a mission to complete. Also, I have several accounts myself and finishing the missions for all of them is a significant daily time commitment. 9) When I try to understand why Tanki seems willing to so destructively alter the game, the only reason I can fathom is that someone in Tanki leadership is deeply offended that some people are teaming up helping friends finish difficult missions. While this may be unfair to others, it is also something that fosters friendship and collaboration in the Tanki community. I don't think it really hurts anyone and I believe it makes the game more popular with some. Rich players probably don't care. They can afford to buy the extra crystals. Less affluent players, however, most likely rely on the missions to keep up when the equipment becomes more and more expensive. 10) I really worry that the new Matchmaking system will lower the experience so much for so many players that they leave or play significantly less. Tanki as a game has always had a significant amount of wait built in through a slow log on and battle initiation process combined with a somewhat temperamental plugin. When you add the significant new wait introduced by the new Matchmaking system, the play to wait ratio may become unbearably low.
