Top 3 for the game - good idea.

Complaint: When problems are posted on line, Tanki generally ignores them leading people to believe their complaints are NOT being heard. Perhaps they are not. This naturally results in multiple postings since it's not clear which topic will actually result in the issue being addressed... assuming it's addressed at all. A single "complaint" topic with feedback abut what is being done to correct the problem would generally eliminate that issue. So far, Tanki only has half of that - this topic. But I don't see anything for any of the listed problems that says what's being done to correct any of the problems - that is, if anything is being done at all.

So development plans don't even CONSIDER bugs? There's absolutely NO MENTION of bug fixes on the Development Plans page - and I don't know that I've ever heard a V-LOG that said, "We plan to fix the _______ bug." So please, add to the complaint list - THERE IS NO SCHEDULE OR COMMITMENT TO FIX ANY BUGS.
-
So Tanki has a (partial) list of bugs. How about a SCHEDULE for when those bugs will be fixed? Tanki keeps pumping out CRAP that we don't need (like Match Maker) but won't fix the most basic bugs (like the LONG delays in getting into battle with Match Maker). NOTHING that Tanki has done since Match Maker was created has fixed as many problems as Match Maker CREATED. So here's the complaint: Even when Tanki puts a complaint on the list (instead of just deleting it and pretending it doesn't exist), there's no commitment to fixing the problem. There are a lot of serious bugs on the bug list - show us the priority and WHEN THEY WILL BE FIXED. The complaint is: Tanki (at best) just makes a list of problems - but never fixes them.

So if you're using Magnum with Viking... you get nothing out of this change. In fact, you might as well forget about overdrive on Viking. Waste of time.
-
So typical that Tanki would get it all backwards. Improve speed? Graphics? Nah! Let's do some goofy noise and graphics stuff first - take 3 years to do it - then we'll think about HTML5. Remove BUGS from the game? Tanki Developer (wearing blindfold with cotton stuffed in ears): "Bugs? Bugs? What bugs? I don't see any bugs! I don't hear any complaints! Pass me another beer, I want to make a light show for Tanki."
-
Some of the hulls hit the jackpot. Others got screwed. Mostly it seems like a lot more visual noise on the battlefield. Speaking of noise - am I the only one who has noticed that some of the new sound effects sound like really wet juicy farts? Is that how they made the sounds? Sat around eating corned beef and cabbage, drinking beer and recording fart noises? Overall, I'd rather the 25+ known bugs in the game be fixed, but what does Tanki care about fixing bugs? I don't see the new overdrives as nearly as important as getting rid of Match Maker!
-
They can make the BEST POSSIBLE MatchMaker by GETTING RID of it! MatchMaker: 1) Took away choice of maps, 2) Took away choice of battles, 3) DRAMATICALLY increased the amount of time to get into a battle, 4) Did NOT make battles more balanced, 5) INCREASED the number of people who leave games early, 6) Introduced new bugs (as in the difficulty in joining Assault or Rugby games), 7) Introduced Time-Out errors, and, 8) Encouraged people to leave games on maps they didn't want to play, or 9)Were HOPELESSLY lost, or 10) Only had seconds to play. MatchMaker does NOTHING GOOD. We even have more "mults" as people try to fulfill the ridiculous "finish battle" missions! MatchMaker increases waiting time from about 1% of Tanki time to about 25% of Tanki time. That's right... before, you could spend an hour playing Tanki, and get about 59 minutes of battle time in. With MatchMaker, FIFTEEN MINUTES of the hour are spent just... waiting. Unless you hit a bug. Then you could spend 50% or more of your time waiting. The addition of "overdrive" and "finish battle" missions is PURE DESPERATION on the part of Tanki to prevent people from leaving battles early. This is necessary because MatchMaker puts people in battles THEY DID NOT CHOOSE against (in many cases) VASTLY SUPERIOR FORCES (think 4-star generals versus Lieutenants!), and often just turns you into target practice by making YOU the object of massive spawn kill in a game that only has 2 minutes to go. MATCHMAKER MUST DIE!!!

Actually, something more like 10 seconds is about right. Forget the stupid garage graphics. Give me a pull down menu at the top of the screen for turret, hull, protection and drone that I can make changes on in less than 2 seconds each and then a "change" button. Easy-peasy. No graphics loading wait time. And why should anyone have to wait to change equipment?

Another utterly ASININE update. Shorter battles means more wasted time WAITING! Why? Because of the excrement that is MatchMaker! MatchMaker takes so goddamn long to get into a battle that it now consumes a VERY significant part of every battle. Compare the numbers: Conditions Battle Length(min) Average Waiting time (sec) Time WASTED waiting Before MM 15 10 1% MM 8 90 15.7% MM 7 90 17.6% But wait! It's actually WORSE that that! Before MatchMaker, you could play the next battle on the same map! So there was no reinitialization time. With MatchMaker, the reinitialization happens with EVERY GAME. So while repeated games BEFORE MatchMaker wasted just 1% AFTER the first game on a map, with MatchMaker, an extra 10 seconds is added to every MatchMaker game. That means with a 7 minute game, MatchMaker is now WASTING 19.3% of your time just WAITING. Of course, it's even worse than that. Anyone who has tried to get into an assault or rugby game knows that you can enter the game - but still be left with the loading screen. It happens to me about 1/5 the time. That means you actually wait MINUTES for a game that never even lets you enter. And there's the "An error occurred" message - which is the same thing. So if one game in 10 fails to start properly and times out, with a three minute timeout, that's an average of an additional 18 seconds per game - which means you're just sitting there - WAITING - for more than a FOURTH of the total time. Or, to put it another way, if you're playing Tanki for 1 hour, you're actually playing for just 45 minutes - and staring at a screen waiting for Tanki to start for 15 minutes! Compare that to 36 SECONDS of waiting time before MatchMaker! And the changes to Massacre? Just more Tanki stupidity. Massacre was a different map. Back before MatchMaker took away your choice of map, you might choose to play it - or choose to avoid it. You had a choice. But it wasn't like all the other maps - and that was good. This is the second time Tanki has RAPED this map. It's not improved. It's "homogenized" - made to look like every other Tanki map. And that's a bad thing. TANKI - Why don't you pull your collective head out and go fix the BUGS!?? MatchMaker Must DIE!
-
We don't need PC-ism here.
-
Actually, it's been Obozo-ed. If it had been Trumped, it would be greatly improved!! Besides, aren't you really asking them to Make Tanki Great Again!!??

************************* FIX THIS BUG!!! ************************** Speaking of SCREWING THE GAME UP... What the HELL is going on with the daily/weekly missions? I show 8/10 and 8/20 for weekly missions. Then I complete TWO daily missions. When I check back on the weekly mission, they are STILL 8/10!! This is the THIRD TIME I've seen this happen. ************************* FIX THIS BUG!!! **************************

Here's an idea! FIX THE BUGS! Went to buy a kit tonight and - NO KITS! This has happened over and over and over and over again for more than a year. Instead of screwing up Tanki with putrid, disgusting, crap changes like MatchMaker, why doesn't Tanki... FIX THE BUGS!?
-
Well, I've tried the "weekly containers" and it's more paint on an outhouse. So you sit there and wait while the graphics cycle. Big whoop! I am SO excited! (NOT!) The part I really liked (because it showed the Tanki dev "special touch") was when the Tanki browser window LOCKED UP and I had to close it and log back in again. Is that a new feature? Or one of the many (many, many) bugs that will never be addressed? Seriously... does anyone at Tanki test ANYTHING?? My vote? Give the players an option to just automatically credit the weekly container. The graphics parade adds NOTHING to the game. It just wastes time, bores the players and risks MORE instability.
