I understand that's part of the equation, but game servers lag as well. And when it's happening to such a large % of the players on Tanki, passing it off as a problem with their personal computer isn't going to help. I've done my fair share of programming (not gaming, but programming none the less) and poor server side code can slow down the user experience no matter how fast the user's computer is. Not to mention, there was a ton of lag in the Women's Day Battle. The announcers were lagging as well as the players. It's a server side issue that needs to be fixed that keeps getting masked by people saying it's a personal computer problem.

This is probably in the wrong forum, but since there's so much discussion about the lag in the Women's Day battle, I want to say to the developers - please GET THE LAG OUT as soon as possible. Everyone watching the battle saw it. Everyone that plays your game experiences it. Some people even pay to play and support your efforts. The lag needs to go before any new updates to the game are made. No new gifts. No new tournaments. No new artwork for the homepage. NO MORE LAG! NO MORE LAG! NO MORE LAG! I love your game and play it all the time. I have two other accounts that I have purchased premium on. I don't want to spend any money on this going forward if the game continues to be unplayable at times. Hopefully the community will add their experiences here. I just want the game to work. The other extras are fun and all, but they don't make up for a poor gaming experience. Tanki is a lot of fun when it's running smoothly. Thanks!!

Hey all. Nationalism at it's best in here. I get it. I cheer for my country when the olympics are taking place. I cheer for other countries as well. But in this case, buying a paint was putting a bet down on the winning team. If this were real money, would you put it down on a team just because they are from your country? Or would you do your research, look to see which players played CTF more, had more experience there, which hulls and turrets they use most and then make your pick? Maybe I'm the only one that did that, but to me, it looked like the Russian team had a bit more experience in CTF mode. Don't hate on people for putting their crystals on the team they thought would win rather than the country they are from. That's using your brain to bet, not your heart. Both teams are awesome, no doubt. The battle was great when it was going smoothly. And that brings me to this point.... Why are people beating each other up over speculation that the lag as introduced on purpose by Russian devs? Is everyone forgetting all the times that they have played recently and experienced terrible lag? It has been happening almost every match these days. Everyone should be using their energy to tell the devs to fix the game. The lag we saw was the same lag we see in our own games. Devs need to fix that so the people that support Tanki can continue to do so. All of your passion for national support is awesome. Really. But don't confuse using your head to bet with being a traitor. How about we tell the devs to get the lag out of the game instead?
