No, it states that of those who deserve it, those ones will receive 20k and recognition. The 10k ones didn't deserve 10k or recognition, but Tanki was being gracious by giving them what they did.

Not everyone who entered was to be given a consolation prize. And of those who were being given a consolation prize, only the ones who deserved recognition were to receive 20k. Which means the ones who received 10k did not deserve recognition but were given it anyway.

Anytime anyone uses absolutist words without disclaimer words, that person is either trolling (being insincere in order to intentionally deceive others), or they don't have a good enough vocabulary in that language, or they are themselves deluded. I am a free-thinker, mostly but not completely like a libertarian. I support those who are correct, even when that sometimes is whoever is my enemy. This is why I sometimes defend athiests, sometimes theists, and sometimes agnostics. (no, let's not get into philosophy or religion...I'm merely giving an example regarding how I treat those who oppose each other in controversial issues) IN ESSENCE: No group in any topic is correct about everything they disagree with another group about.

1. I never said I intended to participate. I intended to until I quickly found out how good my competitors are AND that not every entry will win. 2. I knew that many entrants would be dedicated but dedication isn't worthy enough to win, or else every American Idol contestant (especially the most dedicated ones) should end up winning instead of whoever ends up doing the best job even if they were the least dedicated. 3. You obviously were so jealous you never even read the LONG list below all the pictures...there were about 40 extra (I'm guessing that amount since I never took the time to count them) winners in addition to the about 10 consolation winners (which I also never counted for the same reason). 4. Based on Tanki's wording in THIS thread's first post, it appears that they rewarded far more tankers than they initially expected. This is probably due to getting far more entries than they expected. Regardless, if they had listed the amount in advance, then you'd have complained that they didn't reward more than they initially promised. 5. They said "deserved recognition". So those who didn't win may have done a great job but not good enough. 6. Reminder: I am not an official/unofficial mod nor an official/unofficial staffer of Tanki. I complain against them too about stuff.

Yours did not deserve recognition, so you won nothing. (this does not mean your creation was worthless, nor that it wasn't good, but it does mean it wasn't good enough to be recognized)

In case anyone is wondering (those who aren't, please ignore this post of mine), I do not work/volunteer for Tanki, nor do they reward me for anything other than what you're offered by them. So why do I say what I do? Because I hate lies, no matter who they come from. I never entered this contest because I knew there were a lot better crafters here than myself, even if I would have had the resources to make a tank, it wouldn't have even been as good as those of you complaining about not winning (despite the rules saying that in order to win anything your tank would need to deserve recognition, which yours didn't, even though they're better than I would have made but not as good as those who won something)

Agreed. I used to only use Twins because I was strongly guessing they are the hardest to have high K/D with. My strong guess is correct after about a dozen other turrets/guns I have experimented with. Twins are the least powerful yet get the most XP in spite of being the least effective.

You should rearrange these 2. The 5th placer should be 4th because the other has no background music/noise AND because his box acquisition doesn't look as good.

I did read the rules. His tank DOES meet those criteria. It does NOT say that his paint should resemble Tanki Online painting styles. The hull itself meets the criteria...it's the paint that is different. :P And his paint is NOT digitized, unlike someone who privately messaged me. This other guy had an amazing turret but he used digital paint.

Only if the gift paper's graphic design was not made with digital technology. Almost all store bought ones are digitized, but the craft store type are sometimes individually made without technology.
