Review [Special] The Balance Update: Assessment of Views

What the hell, Tanki. You nerf isida into worthlessness, then semi-nerf smoky (smoky dmg shouldn't change a whole lot due to the buff/nerf, the crit chance was increased, so that's fair), and make thunder half obsolete. You make the light hulls slower, WHICH RUINS THE POINT OF SKILLED HORNETS THAT WERE HARD ENOUGH TO DODGE ANYWAY DUE TO OVERSIZED WEAPON HITBOXES, and basically ruined a huge part of Tanki. -
Guide [Issue 29] The Ultimate Guide to Smoky

I love smoky. I have other accounts (if any of you higher ranking players think I am a noob) in which I use various assorted weapons as primaries, but as of now, smoky is my favorite (hammer is 2nd), due to the good rate of fire, and the decent impact force against railguns. Even if I can only have m0 smoky, it still works awesome against most players, especially noobs who can't play very well. -
It really depends on opinion, but personally I prefer hornet over any other hull due to the fact that a good hornet can be very difficult to hit with rail (don't even mention shaft, 1 hit ko), and is excellent at getting up close and personal. It is far more stable than wasp such as in situations where wasp would definitely flip such as going diagonally off high places, where hornet would merely be unbalanced when landing. Yes, you can train stability, but "training" stability is simply the ability to predict if your hull is going to flip or not, and the stability along with superior hp and drifting of hornet has saved me many more times than the speed and maneuverability of wasp has. Also, when did wasp get more armor than hornet, I ask you?

I haven't made a real comparison and this may be innacurate, but hunter is a shorter hull and is less stable than viking (on which rocking is almost nonexistent). I don't have m3 gear yet as you can clearly see, but on M0, hunter is definitely better at rocking than viking, and probably still is at m3 due to the fact that the stats still remain proportional at m3.

There is no "noobiest" hull. In fact, if there was, I would say both heavy hulls are "noobiest" due to the fact that many (not all) players use twins or ricochet with a heavy hull, which makes it nigh impossible to get up close and personal. only way to kill those is to either do it cannon fodder style (which stinks) or snipe them (which stinks too because the whole point of heavy hulls is to distract and kill a few enemies, and thats exactly what you are doing by killing them). Well, im getting off topic here. Viking and Hunter are both good well rounded hulls. They may not be the best in all situations and with all turrets but they are good for midfielding with enough health to kill most attackers and enough speed to keep up if need be (maybe not exactly on their tail but definitely close enough to use twins or ricochet)

They deleted Moon Silence though. It was my fav map. When i saw the goodbye moon silence notice... -.- FFFFUUUU

A good weapon, but reloads too slow, and if against a skilled player, can knock off your aim. I personally prefer hammer, and when a person is charging a railgun at me (you know, the part when the barrel glows) I usually shoot the edge of their tank which throws off their aim most of the time, and most people do use either wasp or hornet with railguns, so... effective, but hard to use at short range (damage disadvantage) and limited fire rate.
