What to buy? Which is better?

If you decide not to buy a kit and continue using your titan almost m2, (your choice) and since you like long range, normally I would say shaft or magnum, but u said that u want to ATTACK, so then go for striker or vulcan, Thunder is also a good choice but in long range combat, its damage gets halved so not worth it (again, as far as long range combat is concerned). Thus: go for striker if you want medium to high (rarely used salvo) caliber. go for vulcan if you want low caliber.

    Annoying Turrets - 2017 Poll

Actually, its auto-aim angles are 9 and 12 degrees, the same as thunder and more than railgun ( 7 and 10 ), however in practice, the fact that the missiles don't travel instantly is what makes you think that it has no auto aim. Still, I agree it is hard to aim in a real scenario.

What to buy? Which is better?

definitely bro, you are right but as they say, no pain no gain. every advantage is countered by some other disadvantage. in the case of striker it is difficulty ( no doubt far more than thunder ). but lots of people flock to railgun which is equally if not more difficult. Every turret also has ITS maps. in the end, it depends on where YOU wish to compromise, I respect your views and wish you best of luck!!!

What to buy? Which is better?

true.... as stated before: anyway, i primarily use striker and think its perfect for me. it has got the highest DPS of all medium and/or long range turrets ( WITHOUT the four missile salvo). i personally think a 5 percent decrease in damage when compared to thunder is not a problem when u consider the 25 per cent decrease in reload (not to mention all the protections for thunder). in fact, the MIN damage per second of striker is more than the MAX damage per second of Railgun and thunder (m3+ to compare same cost turrets). some would say it is too difficult to use and it is when compared to thunder but is still far easier than railgun and magnum.

What to buy? Which is better?

no doubt rico is better in its effective range (short-mid) against striker but striker has the advantage when it comes to range (mid-long) then its awesome!!!

    with what turret?

What to buy? Which is better?

Exactly, the main reason people complain that striker is too difficult is that they always try to get a salvo. Remember that salvo is the secondary shooting mode of striker ( like how arcade shot of shaft is secondary). Best of luck and congrats!!!

What to buy? Which is better?

Thanks Bro! I have striker m1 upgraded 7 times. But the lack of players using it made me wonder whether it was the right choice.

GUIDE TO HIGHLAND Maps Maximum Players: 24 Available Battle Modes: DM, TDM, CTF and CP Available at: Master Sergeant FactsHighways first appeared on September 22, 2011 The creator of the map — MonkeyMagic Highland is a rather small map with a few hills and walls. Its small size also means that battles can often get very serious when full. Apparently, short-range turrets do very well here, but a vulcan, shaft or striker can be just as deadly because of the two large elevated portions on either side. some walls have cracks in them which can be very effectively used to hide behind and shoot using turrets like thunder, smoky and railgun. Splash damage turrets like striker, magnum and thunder are perfect in team battles because the small size means that enemies are more often grouped than not. In CTF mode, the elevated hills are the most effective paths to the enemy flag as the middle path is often heavily guarded. A short range turret can easily take out all long range turrets perched there and reach the flag. However, escaping with the flag is not easy as you have no choice but to plough through the enemy team. Your team must be fully aware that you have the flag and be ready to fire continuously to clear a path. A short range escort, preferably an isida, is quite crucial. In TDM, the tips are mostly the same, be sure to take cover if you are using a short or mid range turret and fire through the holes and cracks. In DM, use a short range turret with a medium hull or a mid range turret like thunder, ricochet or twins with a heavy hull. The latter is preferred. In CP, use splash damage turrets like thunder and striker with heavy hulls to capture points. Again, use the cracks if you just wish to support your team and not capture the point yourself. (I am truly grateful to tanki online for providing me with this opportunity. May the best guide win.)

    Patch Update #469 - Released 12th July 2017

overall, slightly to the disadvantage side as realism is less and tanks become way too powerful periodically while others dont. also turrets like railgun and magnum (high caliber)are now overpowered (one shot kill mostly) but also splash damage turrets like striker and thunder now have more potential as many tanks will start grouping together. (striker salvo in particular is a massacre) Thx 4 reading :D
