Dating in Tanki Online Yo, this is John_caliber and in this article, I will be shedding some light on dating in Tanki online. Most of you must have seen those words by the moderators; "Tanki Online is many things, but it is not for dating" (not the exact one but it will do). According to me, there are two sides of the coin in this argument, "is Tanki becoming some sort of dating site" or "it is okay to date in the game." With the introduction of private chat, it is possible to date in the game without being seen by the public. But before any of those new chat systems came up players could make private battles or 1 v 1 battles to do dating. This means that it wouldn't be a problem to others in the chat seeing two love birds going at each other because they can't see them. But the real question is, is it okay to date here in this game for kids ( as well as teens and adults)? Well, being a game to be played I do think it's totally unnecessary to date here, provided it doesn't flood the chat with those nonsense love messages. I do not have any personal grudge with those who date here but, think about it, don't you think activities like dating must be done away from the game, hell, I don't mind if it's even done in the forums through PMing. Tanki has introduced the gift system to make it more appropriate for lovers to send their sweet lil' messages yet some people flood the chat with stupid love messages ( well, I am using stupid because I kinda hate it) in public. You could say that "man, just don't mind them" but when their messages go on and on it becomes tough to concentrate on the people you're talking to at the moment and you will eventually see it. Yet, I do not say that dating must be completely prohibited in Tanki. People can do it without flooding or swearing in the public, make a battle and just make it all private, away from the crowd. It's a fact that most of the people today meet their soul mate online. Sometimes they go on talking for months and years until they get together and then there are others who meet very soon and live together. But as I have mentioned in one of my old articles online is not always safe. Via online dating many women as well men get tricked and humiliated. Well, you can call me a pessimist but that's what I think, on the internet you must be careful. In Tanki Online as well as on any other online platform you can't trust the person on the other side because you do not see them. I think, to understand anyone you must see him/her in person and talk with him/her in person. Whether you agree with me or not most of the time we are blind on the internet. We might never know who is sitting on the other side. For this sole reason, I think dating here or anywhere else online is not safe. It's a huge gamble where you could either get lucky or either get "f bombed"( in a bad way that is). Most of us say seeing is believing and that's totally true on the internet. People get kidnapped by being tricked into loving someone on the internet and in the name of love they steal their money ( if you don't agree please search the internet for like these stories, don't be too lazy duh..). If you look at this in another angle then you could feel that online dating is convenient because your loved one might be far away and you both can't get together all the time. Moreover, we will have more options to choose from. It's funny because in today's standard most of the guys get hooked up online and their life is online. We must remember that by spending too much time on the internet doing any of that stuff will actually reduce our social interaction skill (well nowadays everyone's social interaction skills suck!!, no doubt).Yes, I know, you all would say hell no to it but that's the truth guys, it does affect us in a big way. Even though you say that you socially interact through the internet but that doesn't mean you're actually socially interacting. You must get out and talk with others to say that you're socially interacting. Moreover it can have a huge effect on our moral values ( more on this later topic later). Well, I went from Tanki Online dating to the whole internet dating. Don't get too much annoyed guys, I just had to add all of these points to make myself clear to all of you. Moreover, this is just my opinion on the topic. No hate on those who do date online or in Tanki. I am just saying that we go in blind and we only see the nicknames and nothing else. Moreover, online dating is not always good, get out and date, its far better. Also, I am just 15 years old. It might be coz of my age that I feel this is all disgusting and you might ask how the hell do I know all these stuff. Well, I know these stuff coz of my wild imagination ( nothing too wild, it's only getting there...). THE END Point out all my mistakes and errors. Well hey, this is john_caliber and I'm back for a week before I get back to school and write a few exams. Damn even though its the way of life I do hate it. Well never mind, in this article, I will be talking about the term workaholic and how I feel about it. So, let's dive in.... According to Wikipedia it means ( well it's faster than looking through a dictionary) : A workaholic is a person who works compulsively. Why am I typing an article on the topic? Because I freakin hate this term and its used every time to negatively imply those people who bust their arses, working 24/7 ,day and night coz they love their work. Some people are totally committed to work but it does not mean that its hard work, well hell no! Because total involvement is necessary to call any work done or being done a hard work. Well, for example, people build huge walls and they break their backs to do so. But when they die, there are miles of walls which are testimonials to their hard work. This term workaholic is used a lot nowadays. Well everyone of us does something for a long period of time without taking any breaks or stopping in the middle. Well according to me this term feels like a disease. It seems like calling someone alcoholic. I personally disagree the usage of this term. Yes, there is a limit to work on something but if someone loves it and it’s a good thing they're doing then why stop em ? It's their love and passion so let it flow! But hard working without an aim doesn't make you a workaholic. Whatever we do in our life needs an aim. Aim or target is necessary to our success and without it, we get mixed up in a lot of other stuff and we can't get anything done. Then there are those multitaskers. It's the truth that we have to do so much in so little time and people multitask to complete their respective work but here's the think multitasking can bring a lot of mistakes in your works. Most of you won't agree on this but it's damn right, multitasking does cause mistakes in your work. Even more dangerous are those who multitask aimlessly like freaking !d!**ts. As I have stated it is necessary to have an aim or a target and without it, you will just get mixed up. Whether you’re doing a lot of work at ones or a single work at a time, completion of the work must be your aim and just do not complete it for the sake of completion, put some thought into what you do and try to find out new ideas and styles that can make your work even better and unique. Now let's go from workaholics to work-a-less people. These people waste their life doing nothing and sit there thinking that something will happen to them. Well, that’s absolutely wrong coz it's your work that earns you everything. Without working you will not get anything. If you say otherwise, then I am the living testament to show you all that hard work can earn you everything that you desire. I work my arse off to be the best at what I do and even though I do not achieve anything sometimes, I do achieve a lot more than those people who do not work. Hell, the satisfaction that you receive when what you have done is successful is just really damn good. See guys all those who you see on the internet, movies, television etc have done something to get to where they are right now. You just cannot achieve anything by sitting on your couch thinking that the opportunity would come to you. Hell no!!, you must grab opportunities and make it yours. Some people just throw away these opportunities because they are scared of failing. Well, what you’re doing is a big mistake coz all the opportunity that you receive must be used. If you don't, the feeling of regret would plague you. Let me ask you: do you think doing nothing is better than doing something and failing? For me doing something and failing is better than being a couch potato and being those people who are just scared to take up the opportunities that come and falls in front of them. Another fact is when you look back at it, you will think that “man I could have done that". Well to avoid that seize your moment and never EVER let it slip. Work, earn and live. Never lose a single opportunity for it might plague you with regret. Nothing is brought to you, everything must be earned and yeah follow your love and passion.
