Ladies and Gentlemen, Sons and Daughters, Of Good and Evil, Triumphant or In Tears... We gather here, this day. The day after. The day after the day, only 3 years after the Real Day that started a Tanki History Movement. That was the day, April 7, 2016, when @DragonOfStorms started Happy Dragons. It wasn't just that "it" was a Happy Day, or that @DragonOfStorms was Particularly Happy on that Day. But it was "the" day, the birth of a new chapter, the birth of a new breed of Tanker. Where you could be 9yo, or 69yo. Come from no money or have too much money. Could play online games, or not so well (think @mydoom.exe XD. Consistently rank in the Top 3 of game play, consistently rule in XP/BP, work Gold Dropping skills better than an Admin, or just enjoy watching your team burn (or freeze, or blow up and destroy) the competition. Be a girl, or a boy, or either pretending to be either. Live life as a Pro SPAMMER, or a SemiPro WRITER, Game-Forum-Discord HELPERS, or just want to BE in the Forum of HD without actually ever becoming a Happy Dragon (we'll call that just a regular FAILURE to life).. Live in ANY continent of the world, and STILL look to chat or play or spam with friends from around the globe, at all hours of the day or night. Happy Dragons became a special place. Not in the special education kind of way. But where our Fearless Leader encouraged kindness, thoughtfulness, openness, appreciation, inclusion, and many more "tions" and "nesses" which were all positive. Where any person could be different, yet still be the same. One with the Happy Dragons. Oooooommmmm...... I have made the most gaming friends here, in the scribes of Happy Dragon history. With over 2,000 pages of history, and well, lets be honest, lots of spam, I'm surprised to reflect. Actually as I think about it right now, I'm most surprised with WHERE DID THE SPAM GO? Weren't we at like 2,000 pages for the 2 year birthday? Geez, what happened?!? Maybe our Dragons have grown older, wiser. No friends, don't fool yourself. That will never happen. 20 years from now, you will still be the same fun and immature person. And you will likely remember Happy Dragons fondly. Even then. I'm sure of it. We have over 41,000 replies to this topic post. What else is there out there that can compete? 9,400 for Kings of Arabs. OK - actually, I will give them some props for having 683K views, even more than our 632K views. But I guess that is OK when they are more than 2x our age, and more people would flip through Forum way back then... OK, where the heck was I going with this post....? Well, let me just wrap it up and say THANK YOU!!! To all who have served as a DRAGON. At any level. Even our cute little Dragonets who were just learning how to wreak havoc. Particularly to people who have worked in the HD leadership roles and know how hard it is to organize tournaments or just keep stuff together. You know who you are, and we have proof of your existence in our history, in our 2,073 pages (and forever growing). That makes you great. That makes you special. Yes, even folks like @Tofu who can't figure out their name for years, or whether he is in or out, can be special. Oh man, if I had the time and space to just start writing about everyone here. Their special qualities, my memories of them... I would likely be cut off by you, kicked out by Tanki, or fired cuz I didn't get any work done in the office. I'll just leave it with what I like to say ... Once a Dragon, ALWAYS A DRAGON!!! Thank you for being here, being in the present, being in the past, and being part of the future...
