The player KaznenaEkspedicija has been banned for other violations. Record of sabotage will be included in karma. Reported to the tech support for temporary block -
Here's another simple analogy for you. Imagine you developed a computer game that has thousands of players and you've had seven years to put measures in place to efficiently deal with any conduct issues those players might be experiencing... My issue, if you can even remember, was the /vote function. Since we have both agreed that it doesn't work I feel no need for you to continue commenting to essentially underline my original point. Thanks for playing.
-
Hey, I don't know, man! It's all getting a little complicated in this thread, but I completely agree with you. A kick function would be good, but it seems like a system that would definitely get abused. I just want the /vote function to work. I just don't like how Tanki advertise it as a way to stop sabotage, but in practise it's about as useful as a chocolate teapot.

1. Yes they can. I'm struggling to understand why you would think doesn't Tanki operates on 'as and when required' basis. If there is a need for moderators, enlist/vet/process/enlist. Done. 2. Nobody said they did, so thanks for that. 3. Then perhaps you could explain the tiny proportion of battle moderators within the Tanki game, when clearly there is a need for more? 4. What Tanki says, and what Tanki does are two very different things. Tanki says it has a /vote function, but we've all agreed through this thread, that it doesn't work the way it's supposed to. We've discovered through this thread that Tanki says it has battle moderators, but we now know it does not have enough. Tanki infers it protects it's customers, but it doesn't really when those who invest financially in the game/company/in turn the further development of the game, are left to feel frustrated and experience bad customer service due to Tanki's inability to police it's own game. I feel your comments are one sided, narrow, and unhelpful. Your support for Tanki is commendable, but it seems to limit your ability to view the flaws that the game has, and whilst I applaud the passion you clearly have, your perspective and opinion of the game is one that I don't require.

KingJack21 - I sometimes play in different servers, like RU, so trying to get team members to /vote can be tough. Even in EN it can be a struggle. I just wish the system would improve. Sabotage is a big issue within Tanki, and people feel they can get away with it, which creates this culture within the game where people can say and do whatever they want. I don't understand why i'm being made out to be ungrateful and unappreciative when all I want is the game to provide the measures that they say they have to protect the users who enjoy playing the game and invest financially in it.

I have a screen recorder, I record 5 minutes of footage, I upload it to Youtube, and that takes like an hour for it to process and upload. My issue is the /vote system, which is designed to alert moderators to sabotage is understaffed, ineffectual, and in need of improving. I checked out v-log #5, It basically just told me what I already knew, and what was already discussed on the thread. This hasn't turned into a form war. It's turned into people supporting a system, which allows players to run riot and ruin the game, at the expense of those who want to see the game improve by Tanki recruiting more moderators and following up on /vote alerts.
-
That says more about you and it does about me. Also if you've read the previous messages on this thread, you would realise that we have already established the /vote system is ineffectual and understaffed and requires 25% of the match to use it. If you had read the previous messages you would also have seen that saboteurs victimise and harass individuals, so getting 25% of a game, which can be as many as 6 individual players in one match, to use the /vote system is a little unrealistic. I don't use Windows10. I have a Mac.

I tried, but I feel you're not a native English speaker, and I'm struggling to understand your input. I do appreciate you taking the time to reply and I'm obviously interested in what you have to say, but I'm not able to 100% follow your posts.

This is the problem with Tanki. You've just said that I should leave because of other players abusing the code of conduct and rules of the game, rather than agreeing with me that further support and moderators need to be provided by Tanki.
-
I'm not 100% sure i've completely understood all of what you've said, but I think what you're saying is that I should be satisfied with the current lack of moderators because Tanki has a poor or ineffective recruitment process that can't distinguish between a salty 8 year old and a responsible player who has built up a high ranking account?
-
I think you're being a little dramatic and ridiculous. I want a game that protects and supports the players who enjoy and invest financially in the product, as should you. I don't want a game that creates a culture of sabotage through ineffectual moderation of in game abuses. Tanki has been around for a sufficient period of time to provide this support, and any excuse regarding the slow procedural process in enlisting moderators feels a little lacklustre and half-hearted. I'm not here to get into a competition with you regarding who's been here the longest, and how the situation today is better than it was when you first started. That's not a valid reason for me to accept the lack of moderation. Tanki has a code of conduct, a /vote system, and moderators. People disregard the code, /vote doesn't work, and there are not enough moderators. I don't have to change my attitude or outlook towards the game, Tanki needs to start delivering. When you pay for a product, you expect it to perform in the way it is supposed to, and not just accept a substandard product because i should consider myself lucky It's not how it was four years ago.

It's not unsympathetic to feel that a company that in the space of seven years has not been able provide ample numbers of game moderators has let down the players who use the game. If anything I feel exasperated. I'm not sure what I'm wrong about regarding the moderators. There are 27 of them, there's not enough, rarely action gets taken unless you record a catalogue of evidence, /vote doesn't work or as previously stated in this thread, highly ineffective, and it's taken seven years to produce a small amount of moderators. Please let me know where I'm wrong. Are you saying that it is not a slow procedural process? I feel your 'grin and bare it' suggestion to be a little condescending. I am a user of Tanki, and have spent money improving my accounts. I have a vested interest in the game, and the game has a vested interest in the players who spend their cash on the product. It's not asking too much for a company that makes money from its thousands of users to provide a service that benefits those who are interested in the game, rather than provide an arena for those who sabotage games, bully, and harass innocent users.
-
It's not my job to provide suggestions on improving the player experience. I am a service user, not a service provider. I expect a service where the code of practise and game rules benefit those who care about the game, rather than a service that enables those who don't care about the game to have carte blanche to do what they want. Again, it's not my job or responsibility to provide suggestions or solutions to the issue that is a lack of moderators. I have been using Tanki for over two years and have various high ranked accounts, and in that time the number of moderators has increased to only 27. I struggle to believe that is a result of a strict verification process, but more likely down to a slow procedural process.
