The skill? It's in the timing of the supply! Or when to use! Read my comment above... no matter when somone uses supplies... hif he over uses them, he only hurting himself in long run! Yes, I'm a user, but now, I'm learning to pace my usage, sometimes taking a kill if I just killed 4-5 tanks... spare the use of repair til later, when I just spawned and fighting another tank, and nearly dead... I repair... kill, and maybe gain another drop, and keep going! Their a different level of skill when supplies are used! Just knowing when, and timing it right, is a skill! Esp with their new upgrade about supply cool down... takes forever before one is available again! My take on those who don't use and complain?? You only set your self up by not using. If you know your opponent is boosting self, and more powerful than you? Why wouldn't you in order to even score? Granted... it does annoy me when I don't get the kill when I see the wrench on my target light up... i guess that's just part of the game! If I have a repair ready, and choose not to use... and I get killed, cause I didn't even the the battle? Than that's my choice! IF I don't have one available? That only a consequence of my action using one earlier... I have to live with it! I have to consider was that last use of repair 3 min before worth it, when I suddenly can't use it, paired against a tank that just used it? maybe I use Dbl Armor instead, and hope I can survive long enough to still kill him! Maybe there a DD near by, i see him use Repair, still blasting his cannon at me, I boost for the Dbl Armor, and run for the DD... I may still have the upper hand... It's all part of the game, and all a learning lesson in to making better choices! I make bad choices a lot, losing battles, and i'ts just matter of "that's the way it is", do better next time!- 2,759 replies

Nope! I'm one of those, at one time, I over used supplies in a battle! sometimes I still catch mysefl doing so, out of temptation or desperate need! HOWEVER!! I'm learning, it is holding me back! Til a couple weeks ago, I would spend 10k CRY on the supply boost package... getting like 50 of each, and use regularly for week or so, still collecting drops too. After a week or two, I'd regain back to 10k Cry in my acct, and I realized... oh, I need more supplies, so I'd by the bunch again! Week or so again? I'd done the same... After I repeated this pattern, sucked into the black hole of wanting more supplies to have ready!! I started to realize..."Dam... I'm not spending much of my CRY on upgrades!" I was gaining exp in fighting, so I was slowly being paired with higher level players w/ higher caliber equipment, and I can't keep up, and I realized when I had to ask, where is all my CRY going? Into supplies of course! So yes... some players are more over zealous of the use of supplies... but... they are only hurting them self in the long run! When they reach point I have, they slow down their use! I don't buy any supplies any more, saving my CRY for upgrades. Now, I keep my dailies going. I'm beyond the 4x week of completing missions, so every time I complete a Week of missions? I get a large lump sum of Supplies, and I'm learning to use those more sparingly! I get like 32x Damage, Armor, and mines, and 10 or so repair... once a week, for keeping it above 4x weeks repeition! so... My point is... their are plenty out there that over use their supplies, only hurting themself! Some will learn, and use sparingly! Getting better in their tactics. Should not do anything to the supply availability... I have suggested... they make a Year Supply reward, after completing 52 weeks of completing missions, getting a Supply boost or option, at that mile stone as well!! It hasn't been considered yet!- 2,759 replies

I didn't know this was recruiting... but i'm not complaining!! I'd like to join Happy Dragons though! I'm still looking for casual clan! My only acct. I'm WO5. I use either M1 Shaft/Thunder and also have M1 Firebird/Isida, and I only use M1 Viking/Hunter Hulls. I mostly use the Shaft on big map battles where I see most area from a fair advatage point, and I snipe most tanks. Brest, Highways, and Industrial are examples of my best maps with Shaft! Thunder, I can use for long range and medium engagement... close range, I can often shake and bake with mines! I would love to join a clan where who wants my abilities! My Shaft Accuracy/speed is almost IMPECCABLE, for my level anyway!

would never happen! Ever... EVER! Why? you ask! TankiOnline developers PRIDE themselves on making game as a NON AI based, ALL HUMAN PLAYER game! Atleast they did when I joined! I couldn't even convince them of developing player planted Defense Turrets! People have suggested making God mode AI bot tanks that entire map must kill while fighting each other... been turned down. The closest thing you're going to get to automated killing? Mines! Which are manually dropped by any human player anyway, but automated as they explode when the NME passes over/near! That's the closest you'll get to convincing them of anything Automated or Artificial!

Um? heard of Control Points? It already exists! Exactly what you are saying! You control area by getting close enough to a control point, you begin taking possession of the CP. Everything you mentioned, exactly the same in CP!

No... I mean, I understand what your saying! They are meant to attack those behind you who in hot pursuit of you when your trying to get away and and their weapon is devestating up front, or the closer they get to you, and you lay your mine and they see so they go around, and now you can't lay one down... for quit awhile! I agree, it sucks! I use mine for choke points... usually! On the other hand... I (on occasion) often use those close attack hot pursuit tanks, such as my firebird, and I'm the one on hot pursuit... I kind of appreciate it when I see the mine get layed before me! it's not cause I've seen it that makes the difference though... their is ALWAYS an audible alert, a chime, chirp, or a ding, that you will hear the moment a tank drops a mine! So if your the tank that's in hot pursuit of a tank, and hear that chirping chime, stop moving, back up, and look for the mine! How will one look where to go if it's blended in!? "hey, is THAT a mine, or... a rock? I don't think so! Only thing I want changed with the Mines... if they could... shorter reload timing!! The fact it takes forever before you could Reuse one??- 2,759 replies

Already play from Browser... ... Must I DL it for Steam? Couldn't I just tell steam my TankiO acct, and they sync? and I go from their? From the Store page of TankiO on Steam, I chose the Free to Play "Play Now" option, and it wants steam permission to DL!? I stopped right there, as I already have an account and been DL from browser? Or whatever it does when I play from browser. Is anything like the Client DL that Tanki Online had while back to run game off OS program vs the Browser game? Same Idea? I tried the Client DL vs, didn't like. Seemed to run slower than it did from Browser. I uninstalled the Client! This why I'm skeptic to DL for Steam! BUT I want to play from Steam! So must I DL? Will it run better? Thanks, DmanBattleMaster- TO americanman_4_life- Steam ps... another question... what happens with screennames when I proceed to play from Steam? As they are different names? Will I continue to play TO under my known name, and just get a Steam "also known as" label? Or will it change either name to match other? Displayed the same in new thread from my Steam acct on a forum asking same question!!

No... i lost a whole week progress once in while!! I can ONLY blame myself!! it aint Tanki Fault I can't get on every day! It aint all the others fault I couldn't get on every day! Wait til you get to a FULL 4 week Progress and your rewards are Higher once you've gone 4 weeks straight!! Than... you prioritize getting on more!! I'm their now! Once here, you miss one day? You only fall back to beginning of that week, still holding 4 week progress... Miss TWO days in row? You lose all your progress! It's the way it should be! I know how it is... I been there! Like I said though, I HAD no one to blame but myself! Neither do you! I'm not going to pretend to know what your life is like... but thousands... probably millions on here in a whole week, and I'd guess MOST of them find a way to be on daily even for 10 minutes to get mission done, and move on! Those that put FULL effort in to be on daily, and have Weekly progress going? Upto... and beyond... 4 weeks consecutively... it's not fair for us to put full effort in and someone else misses a day and still wants the same reward! Once your at 4x progress though, if YOU miss a day? You'll be glad you only lost to the beginning of the week, and not all of that 4 week progress you had saved up! Here some tips; Don't take your time available for Tanki for granted!! If you struggle at times, than don't waste half your available time on chat or talking to friends, and expect to go into battle and get all your missions in one fight!! Check the Battles you go into before hand, that they are your range of ranks... I notice more than One rank above my own? And the battle is challenging... often unbearable. At WO4, I typically don't join battles allowing any higher than WO5! Maybe the 1st star rank above! that's it! Let you Missions decide on your battles. I love CTF or TDM most... if I have mission needing DM experience, or for me to CP? Than I choose those first. Get the exp, than go to fights I like!

I agree... Same thing happened. I had a kill tanki's with Holiday paint... I was upto about 190/250 and I would of had 49x Double Dmg!! I get on and 3 new missions in place, no sign of my Holiday mission!! I had no idea the mission would be removed after a certain time limit!! They should tell you so! I deserve my mission back, or atleast give me my DD's supplies! Please!

CYCLOPS!! Need I say more?? I say for a Turret Idea, we build a turret that fires a Cyclops like Ion beam! The beam would look something like these pictures below. The turret itself? I don't know exactly. Maybe the turret could be like a bubble sort of metal frame look on top of selected hull. The middle top of the turret frame would be a square window looking hole, with a glow within it. The Cyclops beam? No range limit, crosses map edge to edge. Pierces everything, including walls. However, every object the Cyclops beam passes through, the destructive power is lost by 50% (or however much) per object, whether it's a wall, or a tank, or a bldg. So If Cyclops tank is on the ground, outside, and facing a tank 10, 30 or 100 ft away, nothing in between, and Cyclops fires at target, the tank being first object the beam hits, gets 100% damage from beam continuously til it stops, or destroyed. The cyclops beam holds steady continuing through target, maybe it hits a wall next... than another target after. The wall reduced the power by another 50%, so the 2nd target now gets only 50% what's left, or about 12.5% of the overall damage. Beam continues, no one gets hit, and it's seen passing out of edge of map. Say the Cyclops tank is sitting in the Brest map, top deck level where Shafts camp out. The Cyclops hiding behind wall, fires at the other side of map towards the other base upper deck wall. Hits target behind wall. The Cyclops beam having passing through two walls first is only hitting target with 25% of it's power. Hard to explain. I don't know how to put custom pictures on here like I see everyone have. | beam || beam beam || beam beam | beam continues off edge. edge| [CYCLOPS TANK} = = = = || = = = [target tank} = = = || = = = = {target tank] = = = = |edge = = | 100% || 50% 25% || 12.5% 6.25% | ^ ^ wall wall Also... to create two disadvantages to the Cyclops Turret; One, the turret does not Rotate. The turret is permanent to the Hull, so one must maneuver the tank to control the aim of the turret. Two, the Turret can Overheat, Overload, and explode! The Tanki tank will simply Self Destruct if it Overloads. Basically the Cyclops beam continues to fire as long as the energy bar has something in it... but instead of simply running out and waiting for it to recharge like other Tank Turrets do, even similar to Firebird/Frost/Isida, when they run out, they stop, if you let go of the firing button and press again with little recharged, it continues to fire and runs out again. However... With the Cyclops, that power charge (however long the Charge drain is set to last) lasts say 20 seconds or 30 seconds... IF that charge hits (Zero) 0% the Tank Self Dectructs without warning! SO... the trick is the Cyclops Tanki must manage his power usage, and not Overload his Cyclops charge, discontinuing his shots at will before it hits Zero. If he continues seconds later before it's full... must keep in mind what's left, or risk Overload. If he hangs in their trying to get the last once out to destroy target, the closer he gets to 0% the more he risks Overload, and a SD. What does everyone think of My CYCLOPS Idea? IF you like Cyclops Turret, please... LIKE THIS Below

I have idea for Missions!!... AND for Clans!! Yes... This same idea was already mentioned in Ideas for Missions. I started off typing about Clan Missions... Clans could POST missions for the players! I'm not in a Clan yet, so I don't know how it works entirely, but I don't think they have anything like this, Do they? For one, does the Clan gain any surplus of CRY for entire Clan? Based on clan member performance? If not, introduce that as well. It's hard to explain, but has anyone seen the MMO game on XBOX1 called NeverWinter? You choose to be one of many Class and Races of a Hero, and you build up it's skills in MMO combat, mostly Cooperative. You basically go out and do missions against AI monsters and challenges, but your doing so among the MMO world with the rest of those on your Server... 100's to 1000's and probably more, same time. You can eventually get custom Mounts, custom gear, custom weapons, everything! Sooner or later... you get to a point, your able, and want to join a Clan, or in game terms, a Guild! The guild, depending how long it's been their, is it's own entirely NEW world to itself, with the Castle setting in a larger map that ONLY Guild members are able to enter... except for Guild Wars. The Castle is built by the Members themselves. Different vendors are seen inside the castle, and when the player hero contacts these vendors, they give missions. Also the Guild has it's Own store house! Guild Members donate their own supplies and goods they pick up playing missions, and they can choose to donate them to the Guild Storehouse... for the greater good of the Guild. Eventually... when certain objectives are met for certain resources to meet a goal for a construction within the Castle... many members start committing their time in game to these Construction Projects... after so many accumulative hours of construction put forward, the project is built. Better vendors buildings, defenses, and all sorts of goody buildings that support the Guild's mission of improving, all that make the guild much stronger... When the guild reaches certain guild levels, it can challenge other guilds in Guild Wars, where certain amount of chosen members can join their Guild mates to squares off their own talents against the same amount of specific chosen Guild mates of the other guild! These Guild Wars are fought within the maps of the Guilds castles, hence why important to make it stronger. It's massively impressive and a free MMO on Xbox and WIndows platforms... WHY am I bringing it up here?? Not to advertise if that's what your wondering. I think it would be COOL to see something like that here ON TANKI! Maybe not so inclusive of all those details... though it would be cool if they could do something like that. For starters? Do TankiO clans have their Own Server? is it possible they could develop isolated Servers per Clan, and allow any clan member on the server... and build it like a map?? Make where Clan Wars take place on one's map?? Challenger Attacks the Map of the clan choosing to accept?? Clans accepting a Challenge mean they are defending their Clan Base map. Map, and base, could be built by Clan Members contributing game time on the server, maybe having them "Do projects" within the Clan Server map, building it. Clan can Issue Clan Missions to clan members? Missions about killing so many specific clan members in regular server games... maybe gaining so many experience in certain Game Modes on regular servers? Make all sorts of mission variables optional for the Clan Admins to create for members... how distribute? Idk, but TankiO developers could come up with many ideas... maybe use many options to do so. A Clan Mission board, where MANY missions can be posted, and members can check the missions and agree to take. Say they can take one or two Clan Missions per day for free... If they choose to take MORE missions, they pay a small fee which goes to the Clan's surplus CRY. If they accomplish the missions in certain time, they maybe Gain more CRY as reward for finishing... but how many get those missions done in time? Maybe Clan Missions also have a certain time limit like regular game missions do. Regular Clan battles could also take place on regular maps the way it is now... and any experience you gain representing your Clan, some of that goes into a Clan Experience bank. Maybe Members can also donate their Own CRY to the Clan surplus. Maybe Members can also donate their own Supplies to the Clan Supply storage. THIS would be real great for those TankiOnline players who don't like Supplies... and have talked about (i've seen posts on idea of) trading Supply Boxes to their Clan for CRY... and vis versa! Those who wish to gain some Supply boxes could buy from their Clan Storage... so it's a trade off between members and clan, and back to members. Those supplies could also be distributed at the admin will to use to actually "BUILD" the clan, or the base, or the map! As I suggested earlier, it wouldn't have to go this far... but could! So the Clan Admin can use the Clan CRY surplus, Experience surplus, and Supply surplus... all to benefit the clan as well, of many ways. As the Clan gains levels, any member conducting missions in the name of said clan gains higher amount of rewards, and Clan Battles (those on the regular TankiO maps, as they are now, when someone starts a clan battle and clan members join) vs Clan Wars (Battles taking place on Clan Maps developed in community by clan members, and have much higher pay outs), all pay out more rewards as well. These so called Clan Wars could take place over longer period of time... would not happen unless both clans agree to the clan war (one clan challenges another clan to a War, is the aggressor, but the other clan must accept for clan war to begin). And the Clan war can take place over course of a few days with breaks between each stage. A clan war, or per my idea anyway, could Take place in three phases (CTF, TDM, CP), each having two rounds (Changing homefield advantage). After one clan challenges the other, the clan accepting the challenge gets first Home field advantage. That clan gets first choice which phase of war they fight first, and the phase repeats going to the other clans home as well. So Clan one challenges Clan two, Clan two accepts. Clan two chooses CTF for phase one. R1 takes place in Clan Two homebase playing CTF. When it's done, the battle repeats again, swapping sides, automatically going to Clan One homebase, also CTF. When it's over, a minimum wait time takes place, everyone gets chance to regroup. Though Clan One challenged, and could have been prepared for challenge, Clan two was un prepared. Phase two takes place a set time in future, like 12 hours apart, or maybe 24 hours, and members need be logged in when the phase of war begins, prior to. It wouldn't have to be the same members from the first phase... some can drop from the fight, while others can join. Phase two, switches sides. First starts off in Clan One home base, and they choose the next phase of battle, though can't repeat what already used. So Clan One can now choose to do TDM or CP. Whatever chosen, also switch sides to play same phase in Clan two Homebase after wards. So by end of Phase two, Clans one and Two have fought 4x rounds, 2x in both home bases, one of each phase fought. Another down time between Phase 2 and 3... going back to Clan Two Homebase, though already chosen phase, as only one not chosen. Both clans fight it out again, both rounds of Phase three. By end of three phases, both clans fought out 6x rounds against each other. To tally the winner, it's not which one won each round... but... the performance of each round contributes points to the total Clan War tally. All the Flags captured tally up to points, all the TDM kills counted tally up to points, and all the CP points made tally up to Clan War points. When all three phases done, the total tallied points determines the winner of the Clan War between both clans... thus... No more value or importance relied on one fighting type, compared to another. Int a Clan War, they all matter! IF... IN the RAREST of chances, the two come out in a tie? One final battle goes back to the original Defending Clan, Clan Two (who accepted the Clan War Challenge), and they choose the battle they wish to fight, taking place in their Homebase. A HUGE payout could be given to the Victorious clan! How much? IDK. How determined? Idk that either. Maybe comes from both Clan Surplus? Maybe comes from TankiO? Afterall, the Clan leaders both pay money into the game to start a clan. This could be a payoff in reward to those participating in all out Clan Wars. Plus, players contributing to the clan war have likely, by this time, contributed a LOT to TankiO by the time they able to participate in Clan Wars. This just be a way to pay back the participants in the most extreme way for most extreme participation. Maybe! Idk! Maybe instead, when a member of Clan wants a Clan mission, he asks the Clan itself a "What would you have me do?" question within the clan, and the clan presents member with an option, take one of these two missions. The clan stats could keep track, for Admin purposes managing clan, who asks for missions, who accepts missions vs those who decline, and those who complete said missions vs those who fail... and Clan members develop within the clan how trustworthy they are, or how reliable they are, to the clan! Also... in NeverWinter... the Guilds, once built, would have Supply stores, and vendors, that players, guild members, could gain more unique items, and equipment from, often at greater discounts, than what the players could find in the regular game vendors. Same thing could happen for Clan members. Wanting to find Equipment in Package prices, at unique discounts. Maybe unique compared to regular garage deals. Maybe if a Tanki has a micro upgrade half way through a full level, say at M0.38 or something, he can go to his Clan Garage shop, and complete that Equipment Level to M1 for fraction of the full upgrade cost in the regular Garage? Or better Package deals matching equipment compared to what he could find in his own garage. ALL THIS? I know I explained a lot that had nothing to do with Missions! Or did it? After all... This idea all tied into developing a system of Clan Missions and Clan contributions! Just another way that Tanki Online could take it to the next level! Clan bases built by clan member participation. Clan benefits provided by Clan Members, for clan members. Clan missions provided by Clan leaders. Clan Surplus; CRY, EXP, Supplies, being used and distributed, as Clan Leaders see fit. Clan Wars taking place... for more Clan Glory! Unique Clan Garage deals. Maybe I should put this CLAN improving idea on the Clan Idea thread?? For what it's worth, What's everyone think? Should they Improve Clans as I mentioned here? Would everyone LIKE what these see in Clan Improvements mentioned here? Please... LIKE THIS Below... \\//..... \/......

\\//..... \/......

Follow up with my own thought. If MCTF... All three/Four/Five/Six teams have One flag each. one Tanki can only Carry One flag same time! If a full compliment of 6 teams, and you may have 2-3 diff tanki's on your team bringing home a flag of other teams... if all three make it home? You get all three Flags captured. The problem their? Unlike on CTF when you know what team your flag is going to? The chaos would be... Where is my flag going to? Where do I go to save it?? Teamwork would also play a role! Control Points? For the MCP mode... probably want the number of CP be equal to number of teams?? Or not. Idk. Something to consider. For starters... I would suggest first implementing a MTDM mode and test it... see what the community thinks... than go from their and implement MCTF and MCP modes later.

Here a NEW idea?? Why just have Team modes with 2 teams?? Lets go crazy with CHINESE CHECKER style madhouse but in teams!! MADHOUSE TEAM DEATH MATCH (MTDM) / MADHOUSE CAPTURE THE FLAG (MCTF), and even MADHOUSE CONTROL POINT (MCP)! So creating the game, one can choose how Many teams on the map, from 3-6. So those on Team 1 must kill those on Team 2, and Team 3. Although teams 2 & 3 still having to kill each other, have to kill you and your team as well! When setting up any MADHOUSE map, you choose how many teams their are, and how many per team, but not exceeding the max limit for the map. So for Brest for ex, I believe has a max of 24 on the map. If two teams, max per team is 12, if three teams, max per team is 8. If 4 teams, max per team is 6. If 5 teams, max per team is 5, with only 20 on map. And last, if 6 teams, max per team would be 4. Just imagine the CHAOS... the MADHOUSE that it would be!! If only 3 teams, working with your team of 8, you have to worry about 16 others in two different teams... If you approach a battle between two other team members, might let them finish and than take the second kill... or interrupt the fight with something like Firebird or Thunder destroying both same time if already damaged. Obviously the objective would be keeping your team in First above the other two. Fairly easy if just a MTDM!! But the Chaos would be unimaginable for a MCTF match! If only three teams, the level of Team work needed for getting a flag from one of the other teams to your base? If another team loses flag to the third team, you want them to get it to their base? Or you wanna kill him, and take it to your base? CHAOS!! That's just at 3 teams! The MADHOUSE chaos only gets worse with upto 6 teams on one map! Granted.. SOME new maps would have to be developed to compliment this idea! A challenge I'm sure the Mapping community would love to tackle! Afterall... they probably running fresh out of ideas for maps to allow for two teams. Lets open up the flood gate of ideas for maps allowing upto 6 teams!! Let the MADHOUSE begin!?!? LIKE??
