This is called input lag and can be caused by a multitude of things from your keyboard to your browser. Are you playing using Microsoft Edge by any chance? Or have you changed any parts or peripherals on your PC recently ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I always use Firefox, but the same problem happened when I tried Chrome and IE, by the way my OS is Win7. But, funny thing. This morning I logged into Tanki and it worked fine on both Firefox and Chrome . Didn't try IE. Whatever was wrong, is now right... at least temporarily. lol Thanks Ninja for your attention. troc_roc Ninja, BTW, that problem had happened several days in a row. Also, my other computer runs Win10 and I always used Firefox for tanki. There have been no changes in equipment on either machine for several months. So it doesn't seem to be a computer problem. Possibly, something may have been going on with my Xfinity hi-speed wi-fi modem, but no other games seemed to have been affected. I'll post again if it recurs. lol Thanks again, troc_roc

After not playing Tanki for about 6 weeks, when I returned to the game, all my accounts have the same problem: for the first 3 to 5 minutes, the arrow keys respond normally, then the problem happens - the tank will continue moving or turning, in the same direction, even after releasing the arrow key. It looks something like a lag. The same thing happens on my other computer. I tried using the link: Tankionline.com/flash (shown on p.171, #3401) but the same thing happens. I see there are a lot of complaints due to a recent update to Tanki. Is this one of them?

Review [Issue 63] Tent Things Regarding Camping
troc_roc replied to St.Guardian in Newspaper Archive
IMO, campers are necessary, especially in CTF. My style is usually attacking. When I'm running with a flag, friendly campers snipe the ones chasing me. Without campers protecting the flag how can your team cap. When I am able, I thank a base camper by dropping a flag so he can cap, or for an Isida who helped me get back to base. And if I spot an enemy camper doing a lot of damage, I make it my business to get rid of him. As for campers in other battle forms.... All's fair in battle. lol -
[Special Guide] A Guide to the Settings and Its Changes

I find the Background Sound useful. If I spawn: and I hear a turret turning but don't see any tanks, I know it is close by,. behind a wall or building; If I hear shots fired but no tanks are in front of me, I swing turret and turn hull to see what's behind me; If I hear a tank traveling close and not firing at me, I can look for it immediately, before moving into the open. After the recent updates, and the sound was not turned on, it was like playing with a set of eyes missing. 'Til I found out that the sound had to be turned back on. lol Thanks for the explanations. -
