    Ideas for Maps!

Okay so I've been wanting to have this implemented into the game for a while, but have just began to use the forums to share my ideas :) . Essentially make a map roughly the size of Esplanade or Fort Knox, but make it very tight. Let me explain. In every match you need a balance of snipers, mids, and attackers to form an effective team. However there are some short range maps (Ping-Pong) that don't require a balanced team like that. Everyone gets the firebird and dies in seconds (okay maybe that's not how it always goes, but you get my point). What I want is a map not dominated by snipers and mid range guns, but big enough and tight enough to let the player with the superior driving skills or strategy to win. So if you have a map shaped like a cube (that you can drive into), one base on top and one on the bottom, with buildings and small holes only wasps can go through, small tunnels and secret passages as well as nooks to camp in, you get a very fun short ranged battle. My second favorite gun is the firebird, but I hate dying every time I spawn because of that one annoying shaft or whatever the other team has. This map would eliminate that problem all together, and make for an epic battle. The key is to just put tons of twists and turns and secret areas in it to keep everyone guessing. I realize this could be a little confusing, so please ask for clarification on anything if you're interested. Thanks for reading! ~rtt582
  2. Not necessarily a new idea for a hull, and this could potentially be a lot of work for graphics design, but as you upgrade parameters on your hull, the tank looks more armored or sleek and fast depending on the nature of the tank. It would just add more variety to the game and I think it would be awesome. Thanks for reading! ~rtt582

    Ideas for Missions!

There should be an exp reward for completing some missions. I realize this would not help the generalissimo ranked players, but for other players it would be awesome. Even just an extra 500 exp for completing a daily would be great. Hope you take this idea into consideration! ~rtt582

    Ideas for Turrets!

I think that a very cool addition to the game could be non-damaging turrets. You could have ones that have an extremely high impact force and little to no damage, used to flip opponents and knock them off coarse (though this would open the gate for trolls galore, so maybe not). Or maybe a mine laying turret. It lays mines which follow all of the rules of the supply mines, i.e. disappearing when you die, but you can lay a lot of them. The trick would be hiding and not getting killed so that your mines stay in place. Also I think the reload time would have to be very high. You could also have a turret that has no reload time, but only affects the opponent when you are touching him/her. So it deals out damage like crazy, but literally has no range. Another idea is a gun that can shoot through small barriers, so not entire houses or buildings, but small walls that would typically provide cover. This was kind of disorganized, but I get really excited when talking about this kind of stuff, so I'll apologize here. Please let me know what you think of my ideas! Thanks, ~rtt582 Edit: Just remembered some ideas I had a while ago. For a certain amount of crystals, you can "combine" guns in the shop. A ricochet/railgun, for example, would shoot like a railgun, but gain the ability to bounce off walls. Now this could become extremely overpowered very fast (I mean, isida/shaft?!?) but to balance that you could make it so any combo modification you make takes away one "M" upgrade, meaning if your primary guns are the twins, then you combine them with the ricochet giving you bouncing twin spheres, you can only upgrade to an M2 twins. Again, just an idea, but if this was implemented I would play the heck out of the freeze/hammer ;) .
  5. I think a very neat and simple idea would be a 1/2 reload speed supply (sorry if someone's mentioned this, I haven't read the whole thread). It's pretty self explanatory, you use it and for 15 or 30 seconds your reload speed is halved. ~rtt582

    Ideas for Game Modes!

So I had an idea for a battle mode to help get rid of the drugging issue that is sometimes found in a game. It could be a preset for a Pro Battle, or just a different battle mode all together, but it would work with all CTFs, TDMs, DMs, and CPs. Essentially, the game is played like normal, but each player is given a certain amount of items at the beginning of the match based on the time limit (i.e. for a 15 minute match a player would be given 3 rep kits, 10 double damages, 10 shields, 10 speed boosts and 5 mines, or something like that). Each player gets the same amount, and no other drugs are allowed in the battle. The reason I think this idea would make for such a fun game mode is that: A: It doesn't ban items all together. To be honest, I love using a double damage item at an opportune time and going on a huge kill streak, but when someone has a surplus of items in a match, than it can oftentimes lead to a match that isn't very fun to compete in. B: It gives everyone a fair chance. Now I understand that items cost crystals and tanki can make money from people buying crystals to get items, but that's why this would be a great Pro Battle selection. It doesn't detract much from tank's business, but if players want a more level playing field with the fun and "randomness" to a match that items provide, than this battle mode would be awesome. So that's the basic premise for my idea. Hope you guys think it's as cool as I do! :) Oh, and a little variation to the idea, a game mode that I think might be even cooler, but much more complicated (new maps might have to be created specifically for the battle style). This match is a little different in that the teams are supposed to be unbalanced in numbers. Say, for example, two tankers versus six tankers. That might seem very unfair, so let me explain. The job of the smaller team is to defend an area, flag, capture point, etc., while the opposing team tries to take the said item. The map is made to favor the defenders, giving them ample room for cover, areas where they can shoot without being shot at and the like. Additionally the smaller team could be given bonus items at the beginning of the round to help bolster their defense. I think this could be the single coolest game mode ever. That being said, it would require numerous tests and balancing changes, so it could be difficult to implement the idea. Hope you guys enjoyed reading my rambling thoughts, and feedback is definitely welcome. ~rtt582
