Facing in-game problems constantly.
taniash replied to taniash in Facing in-game problems constantly. Archive
First of all, I apologize for posting in the wrong section. I live in United Arab Emirates. Since the last 2-3 months, I have been facing a lot of problems on tanki. The problems have gotten worse from the last month. As I join a battle, it takes 1 million years for me to re-spawn as my PING stays constant at 999. No matter how many times I refresh, it is the same. I am assuming, due to the high ping, I am getting "re-enter" messages frequently. Sometimes, even after having a decent ping, I deal no damage, although I am able to take flags, which I think is very weird. But as I refresh to solve the issue, I am down with the same problem of PING HITTING 999. Eventually, I am removed from the battle. I have attached the link to the video of the problems I am facing (this also includes the video footage of my internet speed before and after joining a battle): 2 months back, I had a similar issue but my re-spawn time was normal due to which I could self-destruct. Surprisingly, every time I self-destructed, my ping would get lower. Unfortunately, I am unable to do this now due to a longer re-spawn time (Shown in the video) I have contacted the tech support and they suggested me few ways but the problem still remains. My internet speed is 10mbps. Lenovo (Windows 8.1) I have change my password when I see a frequent "re-enter" messages. I frequently clean my internet cache, app data, shared-objects, flash player cache. I use CCleaner to clean my laptop. I play on Google chrome and Opera. Just for your information, these were recommended by tanki's tech support: 1) Check whether your computer corresponds with minimal system requirements. You can find them here: http://en.tankiwiki.com/About_the_game 2) If you have the laptop with several video cards (integrated one with processor and discrete one on the basis of AMD or Nvidia), it is important to switch on only the discrete card for the game. You can learn how to do this here: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/t/19474269 , http://support.lenovo.com/en/documents/ht078706 3) Check whether the hardware acceleration is enabled on your computer: http://tankionline.com/en/help/other/hardwareacceleration/ 4) You can learn how to set and optimize the game here: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=194745 5) We recommend you to use for playing such browsers as Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. You can find the information about these browsers here: http://en.tankiwiki.com/Which_browser_to_choose 6) It is necessary to have the last version of Flash Player installed on your computer. You can download it here: https://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/?no_redirect 7) If PING is unstable and you become disconnected from the game, make server connection diagnostics: http://en.tankiforum.com/index.php?showtopic=219442 8) More advice how to raise FPS and to speed up game loading are on our main site in “Help” section: http://goo.gl/MQMkD5 -
I am going to start of by saying "WHAT THE HELL!". In these 2 days I have been losing all my crystals because of some bug/glitch that is faced by most of the tanki players. I am losing connection in the middle of the game, and as i refresh, i exit the battle. Can we get a detailed explanation for this? The least you can do is update us through a notification about the problems faced by the players so that we can check it out from the news panel and stay aware about it. We give you our time and money and this is just UNACCEPTABLE!!

I was hoping to report some players for being sexually explicit. Where can i do it? -
I have taken a video of a violator using different guns in xp/bp battles. How do I post the video on the forum? I need a step-by-step process. Thanks!

I really appreciate how tanki has been working on improving the problems the players have been facing. I wish, I wish tanki had better and quicker ways to deal with mults who create a havoc and help the enemy team win the game. I just lost a battle because a player multing the whole time helping the enemy team and I couldn't be less furious  `. Yes, I know the best way to get a person banned is by taking a recording. But unfortunately, majority of the players don't have any screen recorder downloaded. These players silently bear the consequences. These players then use the '/vote nickname' command. In this topic, I am going to discuss about reporting a player on an 'on-going' battle! -If the team is cooperative enough, the report goes through- and if not, the mult gets away with it! When the report goes through, the spectator takes ages to actually get to the act. If players are lucky enough, they get to communicate with the spectator. But most of us are unlucky because by the time the spectator responds, the battle ends! And again, the mole gets away with it. Also, when the spectator responds, the mult starts acting all normal/leave the battle and once again, they win! - I remember once when my team reported a violator (mult), I was the one to communicate the issue to the spectator. After a small conversation, the spectator decided to warn me instead for making a false accusation. I don't know where I went wrong but it was a very unprofessional behaviour by the spectator. I mean, if a number of people reported against the same guy, it means that there has to be some problem with that particular player. Right? If you see, mults win either way. These mults have gotten very used to the system of '/vote nickname' and they clearly don't fear at all, because they know that no one (higher authority) is going to do anything about it! So coming back to the question: Does '/vote nickname' really help? To some extent, yes. But majority of the time, N.O. I would like to know how reporting an offender really works? When does the report goes through? Why does it take long for the spectator to respond? After the spectator responds, how does he actually monitor the game? Does the spectator gets to see what happened in the game previously (If not, tanki should consider doing something of this sort)? I want a clear explanation of the system. Lastly, is tanki working on improving this system? When can we expect a positive change? Thank you for you time.

Tanki mods have a very bad habit of relating every issue on tanki to either the player's wifi connection, or firewall, or laptop/keyboard. I would really appreciate it if tanki took some responsibility. One of the main sources of income on every gaming website is the users of the website. And that makes you accountable to us. Anyway, I appreciate your feedback. Like i said, will help for the time being. Thanks!

I appreciate your feedback and your suggested solutions. I am sure that will help "for the time being" Facing problems 1, 2 and 3 is way more stressful than just suggesting your solutions. You make it look so easy when it's reaally not! When you are in an intense battle, with a team of 2 or 3, you're playing a vital part in the battle. Because of such issues, you end up losing. My point is, we invest so much of our time and money on tanki and the least we can expect is- a good gaming experience!! I want more detailed answers, like: 1. What is tanki doing to address such issues? 2. "When" can we expect a positive change? I need to know if this will be sorted out in days/weeks/months? Because this is getting way out hand. 3. Will the affected tanki players be compensated for such loss? Also, referring to problem 3 and your solution to it: You people should consider including 'side note' like "wait 7 seconds at least after changing the paint/turret/hull before leaving the garage" -From: A very angry tanki player.

Dear tanki, I am your very devoted player and I have been playing tanki for the past 4 years. Lately, after the recent updates, there are a numerous issues and I am going to breakdown it into 2 topics. 1.Sometimes after I join a battle, the loading page re-appears and it take ages to disappear from the screen, so I need to refresh. 2. There are glitch issues, for example, - Sometimes I cannot shoot at the enemy team - Sometimes my turret does not want to rotate - Sometimes my tank does not want to move at all But it all works fine after refreshing the page. 3. When I visit the garage to change a gun/hull/paint/protection, I click on equip and exit the garage. After exiting the garage, sometimes i find that either the paint/hull/turret/protection has not been changed. So i need to visit the garage again. 4. Awfully laggy Russian server 1 I am contacting tanki for genuine help and I will not tolerate it if you try to prove that there is something wrong with my INTERNET connection or my laptop!!! I have lost numerous battles because of these issues. Sometimes after playing for hours in a particular battle, my team ends up losing because of these issues. I dont speak just on my behalf, but I am speaking on behalf of alot of tankers out there facing similar issue and this is just awful! I currently use Opera browser, and my internet speed is 10Mbps. Windows 8.1. My keyboard and mouse works fine. And my eyesight is completely okay. And i am in my sane mind.
