Which is better in terms of damage and time it is dealt? Railgun M2 Or thunder M1
Slickdc replied to DarkStarz in Archive
Thanks. Did you get that info from anywhere? If so could you give me link. You can get that info straight out of the game for any weapon. Take shots/min and divide that number by 60. Then multiply that number by the minimum and maximum amount of damage each shot does and you will get the minimum and maximum damage per second. -

Railgun M2: 5.95 - 9.49 damage per second Thunder M1: 6.97 - 11.72 damage per second When it comes down to damage over time, Thunder wins. -
I think that is just a translation error meaning you can get the M0 of guns sooner.
-
I think that means you will be able to buy the M0 version of the guns at a lower rank, but there will be a larger difference in the rank need to upgrade to M1, M2, and M3. For example, You may be able to buy a weapon at Warrant Officer 1, then upgrade to M1 at WO3, M2 at WO5, and M3 at Second Lieutenant as opposed the way it is now where you can buy the next upgrade at every consecutive level.

That would be a really cool device to have on your tank as long as the smokescreen effect isn't too resource intensive. I would love being able to press a button and shoot smoke out of my tank.

This is not a bad idea at all if implemented correctly. I have seen this type of item as a grenade in FPSs and it is quite effective. The way it would need to work is make it have a limited range. All Players within 20 meters or so of the user are blinded for a moment (about 5 secs or so) with sound dampening as well. It would be fun and easy to use and would make for a great addition to the game.

Honestly, for Firebird to be useful, it needs to not only unfreeze someone, but also stop them from taking damage from a freeze as long as the flame is on them. I think that is a brilliant idea.

I clicked the join button for the game below and it put me on the list of players on that team but as you can see, I am not in the game.

I agree with u. Then people will not just do damage on someone and leave them alone, but try to finish off the kill. The thing is, you can't see how much HP an enemy has remaining. So you have no idea if they will die in 1 shot or 10 unless you paid attention to how much they got hit.

^ That is kinda how it is now in many games. I do see what you are saying and it would make Marshals even stronger than they are now, but that is what rank restriction is for.

I have to admit that it does take some time to earn 1 000 000 experience points, but avid players like me and many others who will be playing the game for possibly years to come need more to keep us entertained and motivated.

I think a good time to incorporate this would be in the "Later Updates" section for Tanki 2.0.

Champion wouldn't cost that much to buy, unless you mean you get it for free as a reward for buying all other paints. I also think that the best paint to use also depends on the map, plus, I think natsu's percentages are wrong. Railgun is not that big of a deal in high ranked battles. Also on small maps like Island, you will rarely ever see a Railgun or Thunder, so that makes Python the best on small maps.

I totally agree that more ranks need to be incorporated into the game. Marshal can still be the highest rank, all you need to do is add more ranks below marshal and have marshal require a lot more experience points to obtain (2 000 000 maybe). Ranks can be made up if it would make the game better. As a player, there always needs to be some goal to work toward or else that player will have no more motivation to play. I think it would be cool to extend the rank system so that the highest rank requires 10 000 000 experience points to obtain. That would give people something to do for a long, long time. Of course just having a rank take that many exp. points still wouldn't keep people interested for that long. There needs to be weapons/weapon upgrades and paints that you can only aquire once you have 2 000 000 experience points, 5 000 000 experience points, etc... If that were the case, players would definitely want to keep playing so they could not only get to a very high rank that not many people have, but also get to use those super powerful weapons, tank shells, upgrades, and paints.

I believe it will include a shaking effect as well as the camera tilting as you climb a hill or ramp to give you a view of what is on the ramp and at the top. There may be other camera effects as well, but those are the only ones I have heard of.

I am sure there will be more weapons and tanks coming in 2.0, but for now, the only one that has been officially announced is the Shaft.

I bet Tanki 2.0 will have a much better chance of winning the Mashable Awards this year (if it is ever released). Tanki 2.0 will get many more players because it will be a much better game and experience and it will be available to play on other websites as well (like Facebook and Facebook games get A LOT of players).

The idea behind these 'Nova Charge' power-ups is this: - The power-up can appear on the stage but is less likely to appear than the other power-ups - The power-up performs some kind of 'special effect' depending on what weapon you are using. - The power-up would only last for a very short amount of time or only have a burst effect (ie. the effect happens in a split second). - The power-up is able to be bought in the garage and the cost depends on how strong the special effect is. - The special effects don't have to be overly powerful. For example, when someone with the Freeze weapon gets a 'Nova Charge,' the special effect could be as simple as freezing (the effect the Freeze currently has when attacking someone) the entire enemy team for a short period of time (maybe only 2-3 seconds). - If 'Nova Charge' was used as an item bought in the garage, there would be a cooldown for its next use to prevent players from spamming it (maybe 60 second wait time until you can use another one although ones picked up on the battlefield would have to effect on the cooldown timer. It would take some balancing to make all the effects equally powered, but I think it would be fun to have the ability to activate a 'Nova Charge' power-up at key moments. *'Nova Charge' is a tentative name. **The idea came from the video game Super Smash Bros. Brawl, where an item called a 'Smash Ball' appears on the stage and whoever gets it, is able to use a special attack depending on what character you are.

What Would Happen If We could Have More M levels of each weapon???!
Slickdc replied to mew888 in Archive
If you think about it, the different tiers of weapons are like having more levels. You could look at M3 freeze (Tier 2) as being the M5 or M6 Firebird (Tier 1). It has different functionality by being able to freeze and it does damage for 8 secs rather than 5 secs. Don't forget it also has a damage boost (24 DPS ---> 32 DPS). Just wait until they have tier 3 weapons. 0_0 -
Most websites don't allow you to post any advertisements. I just got banned from the forums on one site because of this.

I have been beaten many times using the Isida by people who use Freeze.

Well if this is a glitch then it really need to be fixed, and sorry for accusing you of cheating. I just have never seen this happen before.
