Which is the better turret at m2 and m3 levels: twins, rico, or isida

Hunter is either great or terrible ..... my conclusion is that it is the simplest, mediumist(is that a word :lol:), and most basic piece of equipment in the whole entire game. :mellow:

Every turret in the game has its pros and cons, but i really don't like thunder it is worthless at short range because of the self-damage feature and if someone gets close to you, you are good as dead. it is pretty bad at long range too because its damage decreases with distance. If you are going to use a long range turret, then just use shaft or rail i just don't like thunder (please forgive me if you are a thunder fan, i'm only giving my thoughts on it) :(

Smoky is good to use at low levels because of its versatility, cheapness, and the m1 unlocks early too. What is the best and effective all-purpose turret at m2: rico, twins or smoky

Is Rico any good at m2 & m3 i've heard it isn't that good at higher levels, but it is one of my favorite turrets to use.

good point ;) i use shaft with mammoth, but on my other account i use titan and smoky and i like titan better because it has good armor and enough speed to go on the attack some times

I can't wait to get the m2 mammoth & m2 twins :D i would use thunder on it to, but the self-damage thing at close range is really annoying

I understand why you think wasp is better and I won't disagree with what you said about it being smaller, faster, and having better turret placement, but I do believe hornet is by far better. Hornet's biggest edge is its skidding effect. It is really useful when trying to shake someone off your tail or knocking off a long range gun's aim on you (mainly shaft or rail).It is also just plain fun to skid around in circles on different maps. If you are a firebird or freeze user and circle strafe your opponents frequently, it is just easier to use Hornet's skid effect rather than circling with your hull, turning with your turret, and trying to press the space-bar at the same time. Hornet also has better stability and balance when going off high ledges or getting drilled by a high-impact force weapon. Its extra armor is much more useful then a little bit of speed, especially considering Hornet still has a great deal of speed. I would only use wasp if my only goal was to get the fastest hull. Thats my take on wasp vs hornet B)

i am a mammoth user, but i'm starting to realize that titan is just plain better then mammoth

i love using vulcan it can really wreck opposing teams if you know how to use it properly. I've been wondering what m2 turret i should save up for and you have made up my mind. :D

I'm just starting to use hammar and i really like it, but i still need work.(my k/d is terrible) should i use hornet or viking with it?

Is twins a good combo with mammoth on mid-range maps?

Viking is a very balanced hull and it was my favorite until recently. I got the firebird m1 (since that is the only m1 turret i can afford ;) ) and that has forced me to change my tactics ( i previously used viking/rico) . I now use hunter with my firebird. I want to start using viking again and I was wondering what people think the best m0/m1 turret is to use with viking.

I haven't used Dictator that much, although I do have a good idea of how it handles. It has its ups and downs just like any other hull, but it is usually great or terrible for me. It has a perfect blend of speed and armor, which I love, and you can't beat the extra shooting range, since the turret is placed higher :wub:. Contrary, it's height makes it easier to hit and the most annoying thing is trying to go across a large map, while you're getting drilled by thunder or smoky :(. Overall,(pause) it is entirely based on your preference for hull and playing style. I think it can be used to great success for skilled players, however I would only recommend it for skilled or competitive players. :unsure: I'm going to try using it with Vulcan and I'll see how that works out (I normally use Vulcan with my mammoth, but it is too slow for me on occasion) .

mammoth is only current m1 hull I have so I use it quite frequently and usually do good. It seems that mammoth gets a bad rap because it is the heaviest hull in the game and is only used by noobs, but that isn't true at all. I do really good with mammoth and wreck opponents constantly,(usually with vulcan, but i use firebird for short-range maps), however, there is hardly ever a game that I use it and somebody doesn't start swearing at me and calling me a noob. :( The people that call other people noobs are the true noobs :P

If you use a shaft and mammoth in Lost temple CTF and hide in the clump of trees, you are near-indestructible.

Rico is one of the most balanced turrets in the game because its has a pretty high DPS, can take out enemies around corners, and even has a little range with it. This was the first turret I used in Tanki, although I don't really use it any more, it is still one of my favorite turrets and I'm still very partial to it :) .

WOW that is amazing, too bad they have downgraded freeze and firebird because those are 2 of my favorite turrets to use, but they still are pretty effective for me because i'm at the m0 - m1 level.

I'm saving up for a m2 kit. Should I get an m2 freeze kit or m2 vulcan kit?

Vulcan is one of my favorite turrets, especially in larger maps. Its long range is really nice, but it can be depressing trying to kill enemies across the map since damage decreases with distance. I use Vulcan with a mammoth for multiple reasons, including: it has the highest armor in the game, it is hard to overheat with a mammoth, and it is the only m1 hull I have. Vulcan is arguably the best defensive weapon, however it does have a lot of versatility, which I believe is one of the most underrated things in Tanki. For example: if you're in a CTF game in Rio and your team is winning, it can be very boring just camping out waiting for an enemy attacker to into view. That is when you should start moving up to at least mid-field. There is no better support-weapon then having a Vulcan rain down fire into enemy territory, allowing your teammates to literally run around unharmed wrecking the other team. One of my favorite tactics is to move up to a midfield point on the flank that has a great view of enemy territory and start letting lose. This is a great way to rack up kills, XP, and friends (although it is not uncommon for the opposing team to start calling you ****** by this time). I hope you find this post helpful. B)
