    Patch Update #449 - Released 16th March 2017

    Tanki is finally coming to terms with the fact that new players are not sticking around,referring to what they call the onboarding process. I expect that more reductions will be implemented gradually with careful analysis as to not disrupt paywalls. Existing veteran players have already onboarded and will likely never see much of a savings beyond the discounts that you are familiar with. If anything your only expectations you can look forward to are more things to purchase and they along with all products at M3 and beyond will continue to be out of reach of 95% of players thru in game rewards. This is the basis of every Mmog f2p game, whilst it is my impression that this game has taken it to the extreme compared to many well known platforms. The eccomic model of this game is still seriously broken imo. It is no fun when you cannot buy basically anything in this game without buying game currency with real money past M2, and if you can, it takes several months of meaningless grinding between each reward. The vast majority of players in this platform have been here for yrs and this is their last chance to make it work. I wish them luck with this, though for myself, The would run too deep to ever enjoy the game as I did before the introducting of XT equipment, that was imo the moment the game started to fail.

    Actually an interesting post. Health seems to be the re-occurring theme regarding most complaints related to heavy supply use. One solution to the option of using a health supply, you should lose any other supplies you had in use at the time. In reality it gives you another life, and thus, it should be the same as re-spawning, only you stay in play. You will have to endure the cool-down period before being able to re-activate any others again.

    It's all part of the master plan, Supplies were once one of tanki's main sources of revenue, now that they have created a much more elaborate revenue stream with Alterations and Micro-upgrades, reducing or removing supplies and the advantages of purchasing them, redundant, it will force players to invest in the much more expensive revenue streams they have been creating over the past year. End of the day, it all amounts to Pay 2 Win. Have fun and keep paying

    Good day Cedric, Just making a rare visit to the forum, haven't logged on or played the game in months. unfortunately I lost interest in continuing playing the game after the monetization metrics changed. Though I still enjoy keeping current on Alternativa's evolution of the Tanki platform in the F2P space. I have noticed that the en.tankiforum site is not secure. statement from Support.google The site isn't using a private connection. Someone might be able to see the information you send through this site. We suggest that you don't enter sensitive details, like passwords or credit cards. On some sites, you can visit the private version of the page: Select the address bar. Delete http://, and enter https:// instead. If that doesn't work, contact the site owner to ask that they secure the site and your data with HTTPS. Since the same password is used by players to access the forum as they use to enter the game, it is quite possible for players to have their account info stolen and or used for malicious purposes.

    What??? If he has no pro pass and the system hasn't created the barda battle,any pro battle is out of his reach since all battles created by players will be pro battles from what I understand. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also there was a very interesting problem for new players not being able to create battles or funds to buy a pro pass, or even get help in chat.

    I'm a midfielder, always have been, whether it was firebird, isida, freeze, twins, etc... , I play maps with cover, buildings, multiple elevations where I can get into close combat. This system doesn't cater to my skills, and equipment, I play maps like Barda, Silence, Cross, Year 2042, Noise, Forest, etc..., only a handful of maps are suitable for my garage and expertise to join, if I specialized in long range battles where shaft, rail, smoky, thunder, etc excel, they also have maps that are advantageous to their skill set and equipment such as . I will not use the battle button to select battles for me, as it is, I only find 2 or 3 suitable existing battles for my "Skill Set" on my designated servers, often I have to have to scan a 1/2 dozen or more servers for good battles. I realize this situation I place myself in is caused by my refusal to spend money,but due to what I feel is excessive costs, since, the full M3 garage I acquired including almost every protection paint available at the time, taking aprox. 2 yrs and purchasing close to 4 million crystals to get there, only to have the the game I supported reduce my success into a worthless pile of excrement, virtually reducing my status back to recruit in an M2 battlefield, and then they have the audacity to ransom my previous status for an additional 15 million crystals, at which point I am sure they will ransom my status again. Not only did I support the company for 2+yrs financially, I dedicated my time to the forum, and e-sports community, fostered fair play, and promoted the game through promotion of team participation. This behavior by a company is In essence, extreme arrogance, which I have witnessed through continuous predatory monetization tactics.

    It's funny though, that new players are making far less than we did "players who started" on or before update 123, costs were a fraction of what they are now even with the missions, chains, and rank bonuses. Granted it has given all players a bit of the fund, and not only the strongest, losing a battle back then you received nothing if your team didn't get on the board, but at the same time the total fund stayed the same and only got redistributed so no one now earns enough to compete in this far more complex and demanding environment that has evolved over the last few yrs.

    I just love the tiered Pro Pass price, I've been advocating this update for yrs. It's too bad they turned it into a Tax, by forcing players to get it each month just to be able to play the game, it no longer has the intended result.

    The whole purpose of the Pro Pass is to keep non supply battles out of reach of the low ranked players, it is intended to get players to spend game currency on supplies, forcing players to convert into buyers. They intentionally promote addictive supply use in an effort to get players to make poor decisions with their game earnings so that they will be forced to become buyers to continue. Whenever players find ways of earning more crystals through gameplay, they must re-balance, be it shortening battles, changing fund distribution, nerfing equipment, or adding expenses in order to maximize the core drive that forces players to spend money.

    Absolutely love the 2 minute inactivity kick, inactive players has been a major pain in this game, I would even go one step further and auto kick players if he/she has been warned 3 times within one 15 minute battle, they really don't deserve any fund. I have gotten used to 15 minute battles, its much easier to walk away when the battle turns bad, as there is no big fund at stake, and I don't have to be abused by arrogant druggers, hackers, and mults/saboteurs ruining game balance. The battle button is useless and I will never use it, it is just too hard to find good battles, and no AI can do a better job at finding a good battle as well as I can on my own. Funds are just to low to waste time in an unbalanced battle, to join random battles selected by an algorithm is counterproductive. I doubt I will stick around long enough to make use of the pro pass, as it is, I really don't see myself earning enough funds to maintain a competitive garage beyond M2, over the years, I spent hundreds on this game, and in the end, it was all for nothing, there is absolutely no difference in gameplay between playing M0 to playing M4, if anything, the game is much better below M3, the only difference in Legend battles, is that you have to repeatedly click 1,2,3,4,5 every 15 seconds as well as battle. The only good thing pro battles had for me were the XP, and XP/BP format, and the rare no supply battles. I just find it is sad that the developers constantly have to spend all their efforts on countermeasures caused by poor game design, and not address the root causes of the problems that have created these problems in the first place.

    So to become a clan leader and be responsible for, recruiting, organizing, training, moderating, and promoting the clan system, I must pay Tanki for that pleasure. All I can say, is in your dreams, some other sucker can take on all the headaches of running a clan.

    All the players of Tanki would like to hear about the ideas and suggestions as well as any community involvement in the designing of the UI and concepts that are being worked on. I think all the players here are deserving of having a say in the future Tanki is creating for them. I'm proud of all these guys in the International communities, they've dedicated a major part of their lives with their involvement with Tankionline.

For those of you who don't look at the first page every time you revisit a topic LOOK BELOW IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT NEXT SATURDAY That's great news, though I feel sad for those who grinded for 2 hrs or so and didn't claim their reward, this could have easily been avoided if only the map was removed and not the mission, seeing as it would be impossible for those who didn't complete the mission to complete it once the map was gone, they would simply have to click the change mission button, those who had completed but not claimed, would have had the same opportunity as they have with any other mission. You should consult with me on everything and we wouldn't have these problems every holiday, No joke I have learned that you cannot count your hens before they are hatched in this game. Hopefully I can get 3 more missions under my belt on Saturday and 5 golds as well since it will be 5x drops :)

    It has destroyed the game when i started this game it was not a big issue, gameplay was much slower back then, and only used in big mammoth battles when Mammoths were KING, and to be vengeful against a disliked player. Of course back then you could earn decent funds in battle to build a good garage and supplies were very expensive, and were not discounted. Most players enjoyed the game and knew when and when not to use them. That was IMO, the peak of popularity in Tankionline. Selling power such as tank kits before ranks could acquire them, MU's, and supply kits changed the game for the worse. Free to play players are nothing more than cannon fodder now, skill has nothing to do with the game anymore. I started my career shortly before update 123 and went through the refund reset and built a full M3 garage, about two yrs ago I started a second account and played up to Warrant officer 5 and called it quits with that one because even with skill, it was quite clear that the game was not worth playing further due to such a poor economy and the games began being almost entirely one sided, which is neither fun nor exciting to be on either side of the battle. I just started my latest account and have found almost 95% of the players to be veterans doing the same as myself, and am already seeing the same lack of sportsmanship at this rank as I witnessed two yrs ago at warrant officer 5 and as I saw 4 yrs ago as marshal. the future I see in this game is one of players endlessly playing for 6 to 10 ranks and throwing them away and starting over and over to get the enjoyment from the game as it should be played, if this isn't addressed, and likewise in their new endeavor of TX. New players just don't stay in this game anymore, when the economy is so outrageously out of whack, and the focus has changed from sportsmanship to one of genocide of the free to play player, by both the developers, the buyers, and veterans that had built good garages and have been virtually forced to join in on the slaughter or become obsolete.

Ha, I got a Halloween mission in yesterdays mission, finished it and got another today, finished that and spent 750 crystals on changing my last normal mission and got a third Halloween mission which I just finished. Finished top of battles all night and capped a gold to boot, made about 17000 altogether :) All in all, it was a good holiday!

    New balance changes and other features

    They totally contradict themselves, they continue to say they want to make gameplay more "dynamic" To most of us that means fast paced, exciting, intense, and agressive. Then they make everything mediocre. Just like the economy in the game, don't use supplies and lose = no game currency to progess, or win by using supplies and use your game currency to get more supplies = no game currency to progress. Either way, you end up having to spend a mountain of money to progress. I read that there are over 1.5 million players, I've been looking everywhere for those servers, but I can't find them, the ones I see are empty.
  21. Problems with client Every time I enter a new battle, I can do no damage, I have to press DEL and self destruct every time to fix it. Whenever drops start falling or get close to enemy with our flag I start lagging and tank is almost uncontrollable and over reacts to any key stroke. On several areas of different maps my tank speeds up as if I was using nitro. Sometimes when entering new map, I spawn upside down. And lastly, randomly my FPS and Ping go crazy, and when it does, I check Task Manager and see 2 instances of "Tanki Online (32 bit)" the first is listed as "APP" and this second one that is listed as "BACKGROUND PROCESS" I click end process and my gameplay goes back to normal. WHAT is this background process that runs and wreaks havoc on my gameplay???? From discussions with colleagues, they hypothesis that this is caused by a memory leak (bug in code), and this might be an issue related to not explicitly calling the Dispose method when finished. Is this related to the after burn and freeze effect reduction time causing the application holds references longer than necessary as well as handling drops supplies/gold etc?
