yeah, it isn't that big of a deal for most players as of right now, but seeing how the game is targeting an international audience, some way of communicating would be nice. The most logical way to go about this seems to adpot a quick-message system with presets (like in Counter-Strike, for example) that will display in different languages for different players (depending on what locale of the game they are using).

Although if it occurs immediately upon starting the game for you, it might be the case that you have a banner blocker that doesn't like the names of some resources the game loads or a provider-side problem.

In return, you can kill any isida druggies from far away without any harm for yourself. I still don't see how a gun with a range smaller than a flamethrower can be such a game-changer. Druggies are hard to kill and that is a solid part of the game play. Whether they have isida, railgun or twins in my mind makes very little difference. Oh and btw, the '7 tanks' and '2 isida getting flags' both are quite gross exxagerations. It's been a while since the itnroduction of the gun and many people have it. It became a more or less everpresent weapon on higher ranks but saying that 'isida alone can win a game' is simply ignorant of the real situation.

In this context it makes no difference whether a player is using isida or a railgun, so this kind of negates your original claim that 'isida is killing gameplay'. Isida is here to stay, like it or not.

You forgot to mention just one thing: price.

John, pretty much everyone found a successful way of dealing with isida. It's been powered down quite a bit and right now I feel like it does not break the balance as much. It is simply a powerful gun on par with railgun, with extremely short range and a perk of being able to heal teammates itself when attacking. In the future, there will be more guns at this power level, but I personally (and from what I know, most others) feel like it is manageable at this point. p.s. any weapon on 'drugs' takes quite a bit to kill, although I agree that the quadruple advantage in healing power that isida gets is a little off. In fact, I've been trying to push the idea of making the self- and team-healing effects immune to double power, but Alternativa had their own opinion on these matters.

This isn't exactly counter-strike, the game is based on a centralized server (well, right now - two of them) and I very much doubt that the developers would give out their closed-source commercial server applet.

There is no console in the game. The only commands available to players are chat blacklist commands that you can find in the FAQ. Since this game is based on an idea of accounts with histories, changing the callsign would be extremely confusing and quite frankly unnecessary.

All I did was warned you that if you were doing this intentionally, you will be warned to stop and if you fail, they you will get wiped. I do not wipe and have nothing to do with the administration, but I know how people who degrade other's game experience are dealt with b) my assumption was that you were doing that intentionally because you (or at least one of you) has attempted to troll people in the chat and on the forum before and therefore I have a predisposition to think that you're the kind of person that would do it. First of all, posting PMs to general forum has never been considered a good move. Second, everyone was sure that you were doing it intentinally to hurt other players. That leads to a great decline in playing experience for others, as battles become unfair, and if it done repetedly, it is worth a wipe indeed. Third, I am not going to comment on your insults, I will just warn you not to do it again. Fourth, no one has such problems besides you. Maybe you should get better internet. As you might guess, this issue has been addressed on multiple occasions. I am not sure about the low-rank battles, but in high-level battles consumables are a regular thing and a lot of players purchase them. They are part of the gameplay and do not necessarily provide an absolute advantage to any player in a large battle. There is currently a 'freeze time' after the consumables wear off, during which a player is unable to use a new load. Additionally, as exp points are calculated from the difference in rating points and those in turn take into account the amount of money donated to the game, those using consumables regularly end up receiving less experience points. The situation you describe is obviously an extreme one, but to address those game developers are going to begin testing a system of giving out consumables to players who do not donate. The player will then have the choice of saving those up for a 'special day' or using them at critical points in the battle.

I have not had a browser crash for a long time now. Something is wrong on your side. To the topicstarter - there is no client for the game as the flash player is the client itself. There are no plans to release the client because it would contradict the idea of the game. Please enable cookies and do not clear them after every session, increase the browser cache and be happy.

Mehdadoo, I think something is wrong on your side because virtually all crashes have been resilved a while ago. I have not experienced a plugin crash in a couple months now and occasional exceptions that slip into new releases get fixed every day. Overall, the game has been much more stable for me than a month ago, I have zero bugs in the past 7 days.

That just changes the storage space used for flash cookies. But if you increase browser cache size you will only download the files once after each update.

We actually have quite a bit of "20+" players over at the russian section. I was expecting the game to attract a younger group of players but as of now we have three clans that list age above 20-22 years old as their admission criteria, and all have a decent number of players!
