  1. Matchmaking is a lot of fun, but I kind of liked the 15 minute long standard battle a little better. It gave you a chance to get a higher score and, I don't know, it just seems like the 10 minute battles go by too quickly. Also, the ability to stay another round in the same battle is a lot more fun imo because what if you wanted to play with (mostly) the same teams but with the opposite side of the map? Other than that, matchmaking is awesome and definitely simplifies finding a battle.

    Ideas for Turrets!

Sorry if I sound rude, but this is just wrong if you're playing with shafts like this. Shafts are a huge support to defense because (let's just take an example) if you are taking the flag with seemingly no one else around it, what are you going to do if someone is hiding there? So a hidden freeze comes out from behind a house which would, in most cases, probably most likely stop you from continuing. That "annoying, noob" shaft is going to save your behind by taking out that freeze which lets you keep going. This will keep happening to all those players following you until you eventually get back to your base. And what about the other shafts that are waiting for you to come into their line of sight to stop you from leaving with the flag? The shaft on your team will easily take them out because the opposing shaft is too focused on you. This is the other thing that annoys me: No one ever complains about a shaft on their own team (same for drugging- you're complaining about the people on the other team for using supplies but not the people on your team?). When that shaft saves you, but the shaft on the other team does the same thing for their teammate, that opposing shaft instantly becomes "a shaft noob with no skill" or "a stupid camper shaft". Shaft is part of gameplay and has probably saved you more times than you can count. Who knows how many railguns with DD were about to kill you from behind if not for that "annoying, noob shaft with no skill."
  3. lol the newspaper rickrolled us in morse code
  4. The same thing has just happened to me in the same map- Lost Temple. There were a few Magnum players and the actual game was kind of laggy, but not too much that it was hard to play. I got the same message about 13 minutes into the battle. I'm not sure if this was my browser or if it was because of Magnum, but I still got the error message.

    Ideas for Turrets!

A couple of suggestions: While railgun is a great turret and is really fun to use, it's range of damage is incredibly large. While the idea of the range definitely needs to be kept, I would suggest it becomes a little smaller and more defined. An example that made me think of this- I was using my railgun m2 with double damage, I shot a hunter m1 (0/50 mu's) that had no protection against railgun and had no double armor. I didn't destroy it. No way should a railgun m2 with DD not be able to kill a non-mu'd hunter m1 with no DA. Continuing with railgun, there is also a very small difference between railgun m1 and railgun m2. I would suggest that this gap become a lot larger to better distinguish the two different levels (more like firebird, despite them being different range turrets). Right now, having railgun m2 is really only good to join XP/BP battles rather than to make a difference in battles. Twins is also a great turret, but with its nonexistent reload time, it's a little unfair that twins has such a high impact force. Wasp m2, hornet m2, viking m2, and hunter m2 are all shifted off their course by twins m1 (own experiences). The impact force is a little unfair, but the damage could even be increased to account for the loss of any impact force. All I'm saying is that a twins m1 from kind of far away shouldn't be able to throw a viking m2 off its course. While a response to my comments about railgun could be to just buy the railgun alteration, there are too many people who play with this turret that will not have this alteration or will not be willing to pay 100,000 crystals (assuming they would actually buy it during a non-sale) to get it. Some may say that it's part of the game, but I don't think that these "advantages" allow for better and more fair gameplay.
  6. lol I was three places away from winning the turret

    Tanki World Records

I'm not sure if the picture worked and I'm also not sure if this counts (if you can see see the picture) because there are more members online, but less users/guests than the current record.
  9. Thanks for the response and the information since it helped clear up a few things. I will definitely be waiting and I know Tanki will pull through.
  10. First off, I was just want to say I am extremely grateful to the administration for working hard to get this easier payment method back into the game, but the service provider is not the best. I am sorry if this was talked about earlier in this topic, but the users paying with gift cards are at a huge disadvantage compared to those using credit cards. When buying crystals (assuming they have a double crystal card), if the user is paying with a credit card, they get 716,000 crystals. If the user is paying with a $100 gift card (even with a double crystals card), they only get around 130,000 crystals because of the trade-in feature. That's a huge difference for the same price. On a similar topic, a user must trade in his or her whole gift card even if the item that they are buying does not use up the whole card. For example, I have a $99 gift card and it is extremely frustrating to see that the cheapest item in the shop at my rank is $41 and I would have to pay the whole $99 to get the item. That's more than double the actual cost of the item. I really hope I didn't come across as rude because that was not my intention, but this is extremely frustrating and I hope that this is taken into consideration. However, if these features are completely beyond your (Tanki's) control, I completely understand. Thank you again for the hard work.
