    I'm well aware of that. But that's half my complaint. I earned the overdrive, just like everyone else, so I should be the one rolling in its power, just like everyone else. But I don't, because I'm the only hull who has to split their power with the whole team*. *I know I'm not technically "splitting" the power, but they probably reduced the overdrive's boost on the Hornet itself in favor of making it affect teammates, so it's essentially splitting power.

    A Hornet ignoring your protections will deal 100% of its turret's damage to you. Judging from the V-log, Viking's overdrive seems to boost firerate (and by extension DPS) by about 10 times. Slap on a 50% protection and that gets reduced to 5 times. That's 500%. It's even more if you consider that Viking's overdrive also grants infinite ammo and invincibility from self-damage. Also consider that regardless of the protections of the tank that Hornet is shooting, it will always deal a max of 100% its turret's damage. But depending on the protections of that target that Viking is shooting, it could be dealing anywhere from 500% to 1,000% of its turret's damage. That's 5 TO 10 TIMES HORNET. Now tell me how protection ignore can even COMPARE to this. Neither do the overdrives of any other hull.

    The Thunder and Hammer in the V-log were shooting faster than Twins, so I'm pretty sure it's a lot more than +100% reload rate. Also the V-log said the overdrive will give infinite ammo and no self-damage.

    X-ray vision is actually pretty useless. So what if I can see you hiding in your base? I can't shoot you, unless I'm a Magnum. I can still only see in the direction my turret faces, so it's not much good against backstab either. X-ray vision doesn't make me stronger. I won't get massive damage like viking will, a second set of supplies like dictator will, or invincibility/near-invincibility like titan and mammoth will. I'll just be exactly as good/bad in a fight as I'd be without x-ray vision. What use is it to me to have my teammates get boosted as well? They're not going to be any more willing to help me. Most likely they'll just use it for themselves. I earned the overdrive, not my teammates. It would make more sense if all the other overdrives boosted teammates as well. I don't understand why I should have to share the benefits of my overdrive with my wasps, my vikings, my mammoths, etc. when their overdrive is not going to help me back. Might sound a bit selfish but I mean, Tanki puts a lot on competition inside teams too. Protection ignore: "Wow that's so good" No it's not. If you think about it, this just gives you a damage bonus equivalent to 100% divided by (100% - protection percentage) to only enemies protected against you. That means at most 2x damage against 50% protections. Now think about viking and dictator.

    I don't think it cools you down anymore, so you'll just keep burning after you repair. There's been times when I've killed a Firebird after it burned me to max, slapped on an RK, healed to full, and then got lowered to half-health again by the remaining burn damage FeelsBadMan

    I actually think the biggest cause of Firebird being so OP is this one thing: Double Damage boosts Firebird's heating rate. Double Armor does not counter that. So Firebird is the only case where you cannot fully counter a Double Damage with a Double Armor. The other cause is that it heats up too fast in general.

    Personally, I think you guys are leaving out something. Back before, when you could choose battles, everyone was trying to join the winning team, which made battles pretty unbalanced. Also there was the issue that the first person who joined could get a head start and cap flags and collect supplies before there was anyone to oppose them, which made their team start with an advantage. I know because I saw it and also did it myself too

    Hornet's overdrive seems quite underpowered tbh. The vision part actually gives near-zero benefit and the protection ignore is considerably outweighed by the other overdrives once you think about it.

    Well the thing is, even the slightest reduction in your speed will allow the Freeze to gain on you, which gets you into the positive-feedback-loop i mentioned earlier.

    Freeze is ridiculously overpowered right now. One touch of it and you're screwed. In addition, with the recent damage buff, it now has FAR more base damage than firebird. This shouldn't be the case; Freeze should always have the least damage of all the close range weapons, as it is the only one that can kill your enemy and take no damage from them in return. The fact that it has so much more damage than firebird in ADDITION to that is just ridiculous. Freeze's ability means that it should have to backstab enemies to kill them. They SHOULD lose to other close-range weapons head-to-head. Secondly, the freeze effect is also too OP. The reason for this is that as soon as the spray hits you, you're instantly slowed down to below the Freeze's speed. INSTANTLY. And even the very slightest drop in your speed allows them to catch up to you even more, which means they can freeze you even more, which means you get even slower, which means yet more freezing. As soon as they touch their spacebar, you're caught in an inescapable positive-feedback loop. Finally, the spray cone is too wide; it should not have so much vertical spray. My proposed changes: Damage nerf to below-Firebird damage Decreased energy usage - This allows it to fire for longer to compensate for the damage nerf, so the damage-per-clip remains similar Slowing effect delayed - The enemy doesn't become slowed at first touch; slowing effect only starts working after you've already frozen the enemy to a certain degree Nerf to vertical cone angle?
  17. The point of DM is to be free-for-all, every man for themselves. Having this just defeats the entire point of DM, even ENCOURAGING it.
  18. I'm being placed in battles where every single person is 3-5 ranks above me. This is ridiculous. You should not be able to join/be placed in a battle if ANYONE in the battle is 2-3 ranks higher or lower than you. This same restriction should apply to the Groups feature. This will make battles MUCH more fair, as opposed to battles filled with people who are an entire M level plus microupgrades higher than you.
  19. Why disable shooting? I like all the ideas except for the first one. I do think RGB should get some more changes to separate it from CTF, right now they are extremely similar.

    Well the thing is, splash damage means self-damage, which is very bad for something that's supposed to be used in defense, such as mines.

    The critical is already very powerful, dealing 2 times average damage AND having zero dropoff over range. It would be OP if it was also immune to the normal Smoky PM.

    I need some help on using the Railgun. I have tried Railgun on 2 alt account already; I am on a 3rd. None of them I have gotten to work. I have narrowed my problems down into two major things: 1. Railgun is literal paper for me. If I get ambushed at any range less than half-map, game over. I can almost never fend them off. The close range weapons sandblast me with their sheer DPS. The mid-range ones make me miss left and right with their knockback. Even if I somehow manage to land a shot on them, it's not enough to kill. I only have so many Double Damages, and I can't afford to use one every time I get ambushed. And it's so hard to avoid ambush too, considering that I can't look in so many directions at once. 2. I can almost NEVER get this thing to work in CTF, CP, or RGB. I just can't seem to get it to capture anything. This is kind of linked to my issue in that i can't survive any attack from something that isn't another long-range weapon. Every time I go in to steal the flag, some Firebird or Smoky gets me. Bam. Dead. I've also tried hanging back and picking off the defenders before going in to nab the flag, but usually that results in me getting ambushed by a Smoky or Thunder. Yet I have seen Railguns running 10.00 KD ratios, Railguns that just haul in flag after flag after flag. Railguns leading their team by far and wide. How do you do this? Most of all, how do you avoid the issues I mentioned above? I see a lot of people saying "use double damage and you rek everything." But I feel that there must be a better way than having to constantly rely on Double Damage. Is there?
