I've noticed that not all names make the list. What's your criteria?

On Chrome, I have sound, but on Firefox...no sound. I checked the settings and the sound is on at 100%. Same with speakers.

I was having the same problem. I switched browsers from Chrome to Firefox. It works fine now. I'm having a problem with the sound. My speakers are up 100%. Volume control is on and at least half way up (never put them up that high before) no sound. I checked the game control settings and the sound is on and up 100%. I tried two other games and no sound problems there.

Get rid of Magnum the turret and make it the newest addition to the Tanki Museum. Rename Noise to Magnum, in memory of days gone by. I like Tribute to Magnum better, but that may be confused with the map Tribute. Why not? Afterall, the dead tank props you see dotted around on some maps is a tribute to Titan/Firebird. Dubbed the "most absurd and useless combination in Tanki." Edit: I just remembered. Two nights ago, on my lowest account, I saw a Mammoth/Firebird on Bridges map. I think he had a limitless supply of RKs.  :o  He was sitting sideways on the bridge. But by golly, no one got by him, not even his teammates.

I usually play late night because of my work schedule and domestic responsibilities. A few times I joined a battle and the chat was in French. Can you say, "Flag behind back building" in French? Or, maybe you can. I am not a multi-linguist, a polyglot, a hyperpolyglot nor a polyglot savant. Not everyone's brain is naturally wired that way. It has absolutely nothing to do with babies. Hoc est secundum linguam. Sed hoc servit. Google translator wasn't very good with the first try, so I had to reword it.

It needs: Snow...ice...hail storms...sleet...deep snow...drifting snow Rain...thunder...lightning...hurricanes...cyclones...wind, lots of wind...mud...mud puddles Heat...hot enough to soften asphalt...fry eggs on cement (breakfast anyone?)...makes the crew delirious Battles weren't delayed or cancelled because of inclement weather. Warring Facet # 1 to Warring Facet #2: Hi! How's the weather over there? The weather here is pretty nasty. It's snowing like mad, visibility is almost nil and the ice is making the tanks slip and slide. How about putting a hold on this war for a month or two? We'll get back to you when things settle down a bit. Warring Facet #2:

With my new alts, I play like the game is suppose to be played (minus the supplies, unless they are on the ground). The tutorial has much to be desired. If experienced players played on newby accounts that gives the newby a better idea of how the game is really played. That's better than the tutorial where the newby is given the idea that all players are noobs.

So, that's what those numbers are for. I clicked on the link, but it says nothing about numbers beside nicknames.

Is there any reference as to how heavy (tons) each Tanki tank is? Are any of the tanks used in Tanki reminiscent of any tanks used in combat or any prototypes?

I understand how updates work, somewhat. I'm not a Geek, but I have some idea. I was sighting how this one game handled the massive updates. Essentially, they were creating a whole new game, did all the testing to make sure all the elements worked together smoothly and probably didn't want a lot of players complaining while they were working on it. I was here long before 2015. I remember that year. Some players left because of boredom, that's true (players are still complaining about boredom), but others left because they felt their suggestions were falling on deaf ears (some players still feel that way). I prefer a few updates at a time, but I wish the Devs would tell us what the ultimate goal is. Or do they even have a goal? I read that the game is evolving, but I haven't seen anything that says what it's evolving into. Put a single cell in a petri dish, feed it, watch it grow, watch it change. You ask, "What's it doing?" Answer: "It's evolving." You ask, "Into what?" Answer: "It's evolving."

Updates: Which would you rather have?
Zomblistic replied to Zomblistic in Updates: Which would you rather have? Archive
Updates: Would you rather have Tanki shut down for a few days and all of the updates thrown into the game all at once? OR, would you rather have the updates thrown into the game one or two at a time, as they are now? We are constantly getting updates thrown at us. Some players say they are for the good of Tanki, to keep it interesting, to keep it evolving. Others say that the updates are ruining the game. From what I have read throughout the forums it seems the Devs have a goal in mind, though, in my opinion, it's not quite clear what that/those goal(s) is/are. For now, the Devs are giving us a few at a time, which sometimes interferes with the mechanics/dynamics of the game in another area. Here's what happened to a game I used to play a few years back: Devs wanted to make the game more modern, more appealing to the younger generation (13 to 20 year olds). At that time, before the updates, most of the players were of the older generation (30 and up). It was appealing to the older generation because of the accurate references to Ancient History and Knights of the Round Table era. They asked the Community what they would like to see in the updates. There were suggestions like: Ninjas, guns, Knights that could get on and off horses (RE: American Old West style), changes to battle modes and the list went on and on for pages and pages. The game was shut down for 3 days, though the forum remained open. When the game was reopened with all the updates installed, no one knew what game they were playing. Characters and weapons were introduced that were impossible during that era. (by the way, the era didn't change). Game play was completely different, mechanics had changed. There was a new tutorial that seemed very confusing. Players said that they had to do the tutorial several times before it started to make some sense. Others never got the hang of it. As a consequence, the game lost, I'd estimate, at least 80% of the old players that made the game great. Player participation dropped from approximately 1.2 million to approximately 400,000. But the Devs achieved their goal...To make a game that was more appealing to the younger generation and it worked. My question to you, Dear Community, which would you rather have? Updates a few at a time, which takes months to implement? OR to have all the updates done all at once, as stated above? Tanki Devs have a goal in mind, but are not making us privy to what it is. The other game outright told the Community what the goal was, but didn't give us a clear picture of how it would turn out. Your thoughts and opinions? -
I am so frustrated, I could spit nails. I was playing CTF on Yorkshire Blue. Both flags were stolen. I found their flag bearer behind a building with a weak Isida guarding him. I killed the Isida easily, but took damage. The flag bearer had Hammer. I could have taken him with my Firebird if I didn't have damage. I used my last RK and didn't realize it. When I respawned, I told my teammates that our flag was behind the building in the back. Something was said in Russian. I asked for help. Something said in Russian. I told my team, "You don't speak English and I don't speak Russian. We will lose." Someone said something in Russian that was censored out. I went into the garage and bought some RKs and went back. I found the flag bearer in the same spot. I attacked the Isida, but he was able to activate OD on the flag bearer. My Firebird had little effect. Our flag bearer was killed, they made the final point just as the game ended. If I could have communicated with my team, we would have won the battle. Thanks Devs for your "wise and thoughtful" update. I'm tired of losing battles because there is NO communication among teammates. But then, you knew that would happen. Afterall, wasn't that part of the overall plan? With the proposed update for a point and click communication, how is that going to let my teammates know where the flag is? Or tell our Magnum where their Magnum is located? Before this "best for the community" update, I would go into enemy territory, scout around and communicate back to my teammates. That's one strategy destroyed. I recently read on the forums a player said that language doesn't matter. No one makes battle plans, it's all useless chat. Maybe now it is, but before this "great" update teams did make battle plans. Thanks again, Devs. You're dong a "wonderful" job.

Title says nothing about "Golden Moments", "Golden Movements" or "Golden" anything. It says, "Feelings & moments we've all had in Tanki Online." So, I'm going to go with that. I was just in a CTF battle, on blue team. Score was 0-0 most of the game. Battle was fierce. Last 8 minutes of the battle, we made the first cap. The battle step up a few paces. Red finally made a cap tieing up the game. Then both flags were stolen at the same time. Our flag bearer was hiding beside a building a couple feet from the flag standard. Our flag was returned. There was about 1-1/2 minutes left in the game. About that time an enemy Mammoth/Thunder snuck behind a building near our flag. Instead of our flag bearer capping, he decided he was going after the Mammoth with his Wasp/Railgun and DD loaded. Our flag was stolen, the wasp was one-shotted, their flag returned and we lost. I was going to try to help him with my Hunter/Firebird, but the path I had to take was blocked by 4 enemy laser beams of 3 Shafts and 1 Striker. The path to the flag was clear. I've seen many battles lost because the flag bearer wanted those few extra points for a kill while holding the flag.

When running a speed test for playing Tanki, should I run the test between me and my local server or between me and Malta?

It's CTF score is 5-2. You're on the winning team. Team starts playing TDM, leaving the base unguarded. Your team loses.
