Apparently, this player bought an old kit called "Firewall", which contained Firebird M2 & Hunter M2 and then upgraded the combo.

That's because Hopper's default skin is actually ultra, while the default Gauss skin isn't. Paints appear different on ultra skins, they seem to be more detailed.
The reason behind it is because of the developers' plan to upgrade all the default skins to a more modern version, like Hopper's default skin for example.

You may have been using the "Corrosive mix" augment for freeze, which cancels the freeze effect.

The developers have a plan to remaster skins one by one for each turret and hull and make them more modern. In order to do this, they have had to choose only one modification skin for all turrets and hulls to remaster which is the M3 (Mk7) modification skin. In order to play in matchmaking battles now, you have to play in the HTML5 version of the game. However, you can still play "Quick Battles" on flash, the rest is on HTML5 only.

The developers haven't added an option to disable the auto-shooting feature, they mentioned it will be added soon.

The issue with the game servers was not solved yet, which explains why you are having a problem with entering the game.
If anything changes, I'll make sure to let you know. Of course, you can always try different browsers or maybe play in the HTML5 version if you haven't tried it already.

As far as I know "pausing" your premium account is not possible. 
The developers are aware of the issue with the server and are doing their best to fix it. Meanwhile, you can try clearing your browser/client's cache and see if that helps you.

The no damage bug usually happens when you have problem with your internet connection.
