It usually happens when you re-open your client mid-game - the system will pick "quick battle" instead of the original format you picked.

Any form of battle violation (such as hack, cheats, sabotage etc..) can be reported on the Game Violations section over the RU Forum. Before reporting a violation, make sure you read the rules of the section. (It is recommended to use a browser that has the ability to auto translate the pages). You can also use the vote command if there is a game violator in your battle.
If you want to ask the developers questions, you may do so in this thread. Some of the questions there are featured in the V-LOG.

You can receive the Pulsar augment (for Thunder) by purchasing the Special «Guest of Honor» offer or buy one of the Tanki Fund bundles and hope that the fund will reach level 13. In this case, you'll receive the Pulsar augment for Ricochet.
If you already have all 4 protection slots, you won't get any more additional ones.

Games have to evolve and change in order to survive, the same thing happened with Tanki Online. Unfortunately, there isn't a magic button that can change Tanki back to its old, popular version. Furthermore, you can use the Questions to the developers topic if you have questions especially for them.

The security code you are talking about is the Two-factor authentication. In order to get the code, you need to download an authenticator app to your phone (like Google Authenticator). If you have troubles logging into your account, you should reach out to the Tech Support.
