The chat was disabled due to the current happenings in the world. Anything related to politics is forbidden in the chat. As for the nickname change - if you were inactive for a year and haven't bought anything in the game using real money for the past 3 years, your nickname can be taken by another player. In case that happens, your nickname will be changed to r_NICKNAME0 (e.g r_Spy0). You will be eligible for a free nickname change.

Patch Update #681 - Released 18th March 2022;
Battle chats are disabled.
[Note] We temporarily disable chats in battles as it became harder to moderate them in time in the current climate. Lobby chats are still available.

1) The feature to get bonuses for watching ads in the mobile version of the game is disabled due to the lacks of the opportunity to ensure the stability of its operation for all users
2) Product kits for crystals will return to the game at a later date.
3) The possibility to refresh the showcase was removed and it refreshes automatically every 12 hours (if I am not mistaken). With this update, the free crystals were removed from the showcase.

It is indeed confusing, I will do my best to explain.
eSports clans: Clans that play in eSports used to be created in the forum until the release of the eSports site. The current "Clans" section is outdated and is no longer relevant at all. If you are looking for an eSports team, head over to the eSports site. (By the way, leagues no longer exist) Clubs: Clubs are slightly more relevant but the section itself is inactive. Clubs are aimed for players who want to be in a group together but don't want to play eSports. In-game clans: Similar to clubs, but in-game instead of the forum. You are not required to have a forum page in order to own an in-game clan. For more information, check this Wiki page. I hope it helps! Feel free to ask if something is not clear.

Most likely mobile players, supplies can be activated automatically in the mobile version of Tanki.
