As of now, overdrives are going to stay in matchmaking battles. However, you can disable them in pro battles. If anything changes, it will be announced in the Patch notes. Closed.

It is impossible to receive a battle pass from a container, you may have received a premium account. You can check this page to view all the items and rewards.
