  2. Developer try to solve problem, but they solve it usually wrong way. Freeze doesn't need a damage buff, btu it need a freezing effect buff in higher ranks. My idea to magnum would be to make splash radius associated with shot length. That would also make people shoot from further away and make close-range shots less OP. Developers shoudl definitely find a balance in that For me some turrets like Rico and twins are OP. Shaft is trash just like vulcan and railgun. Probably best long-range turret is rico with alt :D

    Just it favours more just mammy+shaft snipers, who only go in scope mode. It really was bad to mobile shaft like me, who used to kill people coming towards me. Now I just do like 75 damage with shot at just little big further than hammer range Agree, It was pretty versatile until nerf and supported many styles. Now it supports scope and shoot Same, This is really annoying Arcade shots were for me to finish off targets or kill enemies, while waiting for scope, who came to me. Nowadays I just can't go further with shaft than defence anymore. Before nerf I was with hornet+shaft, wherever I was needed. Supporting attackers, mid-fielding, defending or even capping flags. Now I just can't mid-field, because my mid-range damage is 50-75.

    Freeze turrets everywhere?

    That is exactly what happened to my shaft after nerfing shaft. I just had to switch over to freeze, because I have MU-ed freeze more than thunder and freeze is better in non-pro for getting kills One aspect of freeze that needed buff was freezing effect. I think Devs misunderstood problem with freeze. Freeze should be able to kill people even on light hull against heavy hull, when they come from behind, It isn't happening still right now. At higher ranks I see people turning around and starting shooting at me even if they misunderstand direction where I am going and do 270* instead of 90

    Why you think that? Shaft on hornet wasn't bad combo at all, At least I was able to camp inside enemy base in maps like highways and etc. With heavy hull it takes so long to get into decent spot

    True, damage is too high, but freezing effect is rly too small. Titan+rico manages to make 270* turning, when i get him behind and still get 3-4 shots to me. That ain't normal, damage probably needs to be nerfed, but freezing effect buffed. Agree. I see a lot freezes including me in juggernauth. It is fun to chase down people, who chase juggernaut It changes in higher ranks.

    I didn't use shaft whole time in mid-range, but I combined it with scope shots ofc. Seems Like I have to become noob mammy+shaft user to be competitive shaft

    I don't use shaft at long range, but somtimes semi-mid/semi-close range shot doing 150 damage is rly bad thing. From there to this place I do only 150-200 damage, that ain't normal, considering close range is 600 damage for me. I can't predict right now what damage I'm going to do. Sometimes I think that I do like 500 and then do only 200. That mininum damage range is way too small At least I found faster reload a little advantage, but lack of mid-range and horrible semi-close range like that on photo, is big nerf Edit: Semi-close is probably soewhat hammer range, medium for me is rico range and long is rico with alt

    Mammy+shaft is boring and with hornet I can go to enemies' base if team is winning and take better positions, If I spawn in bad location. I use arcades, when some kind of thunder/smoky rico shooting me. Especialyl twins and rico, against who I can't use scope effectively. You need, if you want to finish off some guys after full scope shot. Especially flag carrier, when you don't have time for another scope shot.But now m2 7/10 does around 74 damage, which is kind of joke. Who uses shaft in close range. Those ranges, where shaft got buffed, are for hammer, freeze,Fire and isida. And it would lose to them at that range. It is slightly buff and major nerf for me. Now shaft is just helpless against mid-range turrets in mid-range. Sometimes not, when you have cover Shaft had another use than only camping and scoping, just like with magnum.

    Arcade max damage range is so small, If I get saffe distance from close-range weapons, damage starts do decrease. Especially concerning is that with that patch devs help "noob type" players

    Wow, Surprising that devs decieded to nerf shaft in that way Just 8 times less damage in mid-range hurts me so much in arcade mode. Only nub shats(who just sit in location and scope and don't even cover) idon't lose from this update. Seems like now there is even bigger motivation to become classic mammy+shaft user, because I can't fight with hornet in mid-range at all. Before that nerf I was able to midfield with shaft in MM battles, bcoz I did at least decent damage, when I was under fire. Just combining arcade with scope-ins was good Is camping only shafts thing that devs rly want? Edit: Those numbers probably aren't accurate, but probably not too false.

    Ideas for Turrets!

    I think there should be just option to make magnum's turret turnable, when hull is locked to one place. This would make magnum more like an artillery Bad thing about that is that it may magnum really good in places, where aren't a lot room, but it doesn't block teammates as much in base

    For me magnum doesn't seem too strong . In ctf's and Cp-s it can be 1st place, but it isn't game-changer in those modes unlike thunder,smoky or fire. I say that, having played in alt on low ranks. With too strong I mean that it needs removal, may'be small nerf is needed.

    What to buy? Which is better?

    m2 freeze 5/10 and m2 shaft 3/10 and m2 hornet 9/10. I bought Avalance kit and Cyclops already. So I don't consider getting kit again. I know that I'll start saving around Lieutanant Captain for m3kit.
